Longgggg video here, but I really wanted to bring you along for the journey + try some new things with these videos. Make sure to let me know if you enjoy, happy Friday!!
You taking us on a journey man. Nothing wrong with that.
whatsup bro. just tapped in to this channel yesterday, thisll be a big help for me. im curious, how long did it take you to film + edit + post all of this?
one more question. where do you find the willpower to go out and and really learn and film yourself and to speak outloud? i find myself cringing, ts is harder than it looks
Don’t apologize making a long video, I loved every minute of it! Super informative and inspiring, that garage scene was 🔥
I mess with it. I really enjoy this content.
always great job dude! looking forward, checking this one tonight!
I am 77 years old from a photography background. I love your approach to the creative process. You are inspirational. I am just starting to make and learn film making. It is a joyful process. Thank you, for sharing.
Keep us updated! Would love to see your project!
First 30 seconds look like a movie! 🔥🔥🔥
So gorgeous
That's why they call him the GOAT
Turned a tutorial into a movie🙌🏾
Your casual teaching style is my favorite thing about your videos--this one especially. Feels low-pressure and encouraging. Love your enthusiasm for problem-solving and creative solutions.
Mann that garage shot really got me hyped seeing it put all together! also love the long videos I personally am a fan
Love your style man. Been watching for an age. Love how you don’t rush and you seem to just be you. I’ve taken that lesson for my own stuff man. Cheers for that ❤
Just roll with it! I could watch another full hour of this. Your work is crazy inspiring and we love to see it!
Bro I've been watching you for years, and I think this might be my favorite video that you've ever made. Thank you so much for how much work you did here. It really helps a lot of us.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You me stop making excuses...and get after it
FACTS @@calieflauhz
Appreciate the value once again through all these years bro. That 40+ minutes felt like 10. Don’t stop my boy!
Aye YC, "just roll with it 📽" this is gold! Im learning so, a huge thank you!
these videos just keep getting better and better man! great job! thanks for sharing so much valuable infos.
Been watching for years! You and Ryan help keep me going when I’m ready to just quit it all
Watched the whole video, absolutely beautiful scenes you've created. And I really appreciate the longer format and the deeper dive into how you got each shot. Very inspiring
Wow, I can feel the confidence through my screen in the way you made this video. You really love doing this and you can tell. Thank you for sharing and you definitely gained a fan outta me!
was super tired of everyone trying to make it look easy and just natural, but looking at you grinding show us on how much work is done on a lot of videos you just take for granted UK. super grateful to have known and seen your contents over the years. loving this new era! oh and ... "Just roll with it 🎥”
Toughhhh!!! 🔥🔥 Understanding how much work goes into making these videos. You going above and beyond is much appreciated man.
You're one of the FEW people I'll see a 10min+ video get posted and I still go to it without feeling like I'm going to sit through some nonsense. The work is dope as always
I love seeing your ‘mistakes’ and how you change your strategy to fix them! A lot of filmmaking on here doesn’t really show how to get the shots they get so this was so helpful!
This is why I watch you. I could have watched another hour of this easily. Its easy to believe that someone like you is just a professional all the time and is doesn't have to go through trial and error. Another thing that helped me too is the fact that you didn't really enjoy the shot of you sitting on the hood of your car and that was honestly one of my favorites, just goes to show how everyone likes something different and that's the beauty of cinematography.
I actually love long and thorough videos especially as a beginner. And this video was dope! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🙏❤️
Just Roll With It! Love these videos man. Thank You.
Just roll with it🎥 Youre videos are carzy good! You’re a true inspiration for us all. Love to you 🫶
Such a wealth of information here, thank you for going out on the limb and against the algorithm and posting this long video! I learned so much. Thank you for making this type of content, can’t wait to see what’s next.
I appreciate you cuz. It's SO much easier learning from someone who talks like me, and comes from a similar walk of life. And you saying "most times you just gotta start" hit home fr. Definitely finna tap in to your channel more
Love the breakdown bro! Please continue to provide content like this it is vital!
I love what you’re doing. Keep it up! You really out here inspiring people
I dig all your lighting set up. Keep up the good work my dude!!!
Aye I loved the video I watched the whole thing! This type of content is needed and I'm glad you decided to put this out! You are one of the biggest inspirations for me to want to learn how to fully use my camera. Your work inspired me to want to improve and create & u showing the process is extra helpful. My favorite shot was definitely the garage one with the light it was very worth your effort to make it happen! Much love for putting in the work and doing what you do! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
i watched the whole video. I liked watching you come up with ideas and trying them out because thats what we also do. and I love your enthusiasm!
Bro this is sick, I’ve been interested in learning how to light beyond basics. This was not only super well put together but awesome to see some useful tips along with how you think to light scenes. Plus the slower pacing feels like I got to know you better. Well done brother 🙌🏽
Man, again, learning so much from you, Thank you for everything you’re doing. Just roll with it!
The amount of lightning needed for these shots are underrated. Thanks for being in depth and the BTS bro!
thank you for boiling all the shots down for us. awesome shots . i usually do not watch such long videos but when it "takes you in" one just got to roll with it 🎥 :)
very informative and motivating 🙏
you've come a long way brother, good to bounce back to your videos every now and then!
This was an enjoyable 47 minutes to have in the background while I am cutting my own videos! Inspiring setups man!
Just roll with it 🎥 these long form videos are packed with tons of good information and seeing the BTS and thought process behind your decisions is priceless 👌🏼
"Just Roll With It 🎥" great vid, preciate all the work you put in your videos and the knowledge you drop
Man....another banger!!! Loving these vids bro. I'm learning so much!!! The green lighting was my favorite bro. Simple but amazing.
Loved the long video man! I like to watch these over a few days when I have periods of 5-10 mins to watch TH-cam (usually between errands or being honest going to the toilet) but I’m loving the content man! Huge inspiration as always. Gonna have to try out making my own video like this one day 🎉
I love the long videos and the process. Short form content makes people think everything is sooooo quick and its not. So when clients come and expect things to be done in a day or their budget dont make their request, this is why!!! Favorite shot was the garage because of the process.
Definitely appreciate the detail and thought put into the behind the scenes. Great content.
YC! I just checked out two of your videos, back-to-back! WELL DONE! Yeah!
Dope video bro!! I didn’t notice it over 40min until I got to the end. I can’t wait to try these techniques out.
I regret that I'm just now finding your channel. Really good stuff and I love the cinematic approach to walking us through the process. It's very refreshing to watch from the standard talk about specs behind a desk video. Very inspirational for my own creativity.
Just roll with it 🎥... So many gems in this video. Thank you! I was shocked when I found out you staged the appearance of a car passing by your garage. Respect!
Man I can't wait to take my content to the next level! Thank you for all the work you put into teaching us.
This is amazing I really cannot explain how much I liked it, this deserves more views!!!!
Love this long video format- had it playing in the background while doing production notes for a project and this is definitely inspiring to use light better, that’s something I’ve been wanting to implement more in practice so it’s helpful to see your creative process throughout
Just roll with it 🎥!! I love every minute of this video man🔥 this is gold👏🏼
Great video my guy!! I’ve learned so much from you and this video definitely lit a spark in me to keep testing my creativity and the awesome feeling you get out of testing and pushing your creativity. Thank you for that 🙏🏼
Just roll with it 📷
I really appreciate videos like this. It was long, but worth it
Been watching your for a year or 2 and I love the progress you've made over time. I wanna get a camera and you are definitely one of the people I look up when I wanna learn something new
One of the best uploads to the platform this year ❤ just roll with it 🎥
Just Roll with it!
Appreciate you being willing to share all your creativity and knowledge with us.
Definitely motivating to go out and try this myself
we already know youre the goat, but DAMN. This man is on a different level right now with the story telling frfr! Informative and creative video ftw!
Appreciate it bro!
Dude you have absolutely nailed the riddle of cinematic lighting. The last red-blue scene I watched on another creators channel was heavily over saturated, but seeing yours the balance was just right. Beautiful work man 👍🏽😎
I thoroughly enjoyed this long form video. Thank you for the inspiration along my learning journey. Love the set ups inside and outside at night time. You kill it. Thank you
Love ur vids! ❤ So inspiring and a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work! Def worth a sub!
Great long form content to explain how you get "the shot". Man, even just setting up for a podcast is a pain with basic cameras without lights. We are about to dive into the lighting aspect soon and so your content is great for learning what to do and also your lessons learned to help keep the learning curve shallow for everyone. Appreciation goes to you! Stay Blessed.
Love your content man, the information and the way you explain in so valuable. Thank you
I appreciate your content so much. You're one of the few youtubers I legit feel like im getting valuable lessons and information from. Just released my first little tester short short film. It sucks but you make me feel like I can get better.
Just roll with it 🎥 another good gem! Thank you for sharing such valuable knowledge with us! You’re really putting us on! 🎉
Just roll with it 🎥 !!! Congrats for how turned out the video man!Amazing approach to light teaching, one of the best videos I’ve seen so far on the topic. Keep keepin’ it real yo! 🫶
Definitely gonna just roll with it📹👏👏👏 looooove the long form. Incredibly helpful on many levels- thank you SO much!
Really enjoyed your delivery… sense of humor… & an encouraging sense of experimentation! I couldn’t give up watching…
dope shots. love the longer more in depth content. Just roll with it !🎥
Long time viewer, first time commenting. This is easily my all time favorite video of yours. Straight up masterclass. Your enthusiasm for your craft shines.
U know I’m watching every video u drop, from day one my Boii 💪🏾💪🏾
Just Roll With It!
Brother, you made exactly what I needed to see. I have a amaran 200x s, the 60cs and a few tube lights (and a bmpcc6k), and I've been so intimidated to get shots like what you're doing, as well as the problem solving. I am a big fan of the longer form content. Thank you so much, please keep it up.
Keep making the kind of content you want to make man. Don't let the algorithm burn you out. When you make stuff that feeds your passion and creativity, it makes us want to watch even more. Keep up the good work
Thanks for your hard work and time putting this together. As a Music Producer who wants to get better at filming myself and try stand out with my creativity from other producers and filmmakers alike, I took a lot from this video. Thanks 🙏🏾
I appreciate the walk through bro!!! Very helpful for us newbies🙏🏽👑‼️💪🏽
Just roll with it. Great content. Thanks for taking the time. It's great.
This was my favorite video of yours so far! (I haven't seen all of them, but seen a lot) That garage scene was my FAVORITE! & being able to see the bts on how you made it happen was so dope! I was so excited to see you make it come to life!
Great video man, was really great watching you working through each shot and problem solving. Definitely gotta Just Roll With It 🎥
Well, this is the 2nd vid of yours that popped up on my feed, and I appreciate BOTH of those works.
So, you earned yourself another sub, a like and "Just roll with it 🎥"
Very inspirational, you have a killer eye for finding the right set and setting, great job my dude!
Bro you’re a legend-thank you so, so much for your tips and feelings. You’re a saint and a film friend 4 life
I like that no matter the duration of the video you still be on subject and not everywhere but the subject I highly respect that. Watched the whole thing
Just roll wit it! Good job fam, you really put in hella work and took your time with this one
Best filmmaking video on YT atm thank you!!!!!
Yo! "Just roll with it," like you said - I'm going through my filmmaking journey. I am new to this and I really appreciate that you showed moments when you were failing, but figured it out. And that making a short video takes real time and preparation. To me, that’s new, and to capture that, a long video like this it was completely necessary, it just gives a better sense of time. So, yeah thanks for sharing!
I made it to the end … loved this and needed this inspo for my upcoming project. Thanks YC 🙏🏾
Just roll with it!!!!!! I really enjoyed the video! Thanks for taking the time to create it!
Just roll with it 🎥. Definitely could have watched a lot more of this. So much information, easily laid out
That was wonderful! You’re the filmmaker friend we wish we hung out with. That’s the vibe of the video. Thank you for letting us hang with you along the creative journey.
Hey man I've been watching you for a little now but honestly ive been learning a lot and really want start getting into cinematography because i got so many ideas and don't want them go to waste but thank you man for all the amazing content
THIS.... IS.... AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for sharing this video and for your hard work into it
Glad you back posting more often
Bro, definitely roll with it! Not all the videos should be that long, but it’s nice to have them (lots of useful information) and, as for me, was easy to watch! Thanks👍🏻🙏🏻
Bro I'm loving these BTS so much. Hearing your thinking, seeing the creative process, seeing what gear you're using and where you're putting them, this is so good to help me learn. Appreciate you brother
Damn bro I really admire your confidence to shoot out in public like that let alone have lighting in the middle of the street where you have to move it from cars. I live in a small city called Harrisburg, Pa wherever you’re from it seems like the residence are respectful to people trying to be creative if I would’ve tried that in my town somebody probably would’ve tried to run over my lighting or get out and start drama!! Love ya channel 🤝🏽💯
The PRODUCTION QUALITY of your videos is on point 👍🏽
youtube recommended me this.
i love cinematography breakdowns so i watched all.
nice work!
Just came across your channel yesterday for the first time and brother… thank you. Thank you for giving us your gift of not just education, but entertainment and value through the art of storytelling and sharing HOW you do it. Just subscribed to you man. Blessings to you brother.
Just roll with it 🎥
Im a big fan of yours and I love the long form videos
Just roll with it 🎥. Appreciate the hard work on this. Learned a lot! 🙏
Definitely need to make more content like this. The TH-cam space needs it!
Dude that green toned balance looks fire!!!!
This was a great and enlightening video. We need to see just how much work goes into catching a 2- minute shot in an edited video. This was perfect
Thanks for all you do. Very grateful for your insight as it is easy to follow for a beginner like me.
