Good take, didn't realize he played that well against Michigan an Georgia. I knew he played alot of man, while Cincinnati plays alot of zone. Should be interesting how Lou utilizes him.
Matt lee in the 7th is a crazy good pick, he will replace karras after his contract is up or a kappa replacement
Too small for guard in the NFL, he will be a center only

Bengals did a great offseason. Smart FA signings, smart draft. I really like that they doubled offensive line, so Burrow should stay on feet. Defense is still a question, but I believe in Lou. They should stay low, not talk much about Chiefs, and train well.

Little known stat that really sold me on Mims...he's the ONLY Offensive Tackle with at least 350 career snaps to not allow a sack or pressure ! And he wasn't playing in a podunk conference...those came against SEC competition !

People have talked about the Trent Brown and Amarius Mims acquisitions separately, but I don't think people are paying enough attention to what getting BOTH means. The Bengals lost their Super Bowl after mounting OL injuries (OT especially) allowed Von Miller to come screaming off the corner and hobble Burrow before Aaron Donald finished it. Then the next year Cincinnati lost in the AFC Championship as OT injuries brought it all down again.
All the best NFL teams have a 3rd OT ready to step in without much loss of quality at all. And the Bengals have been screwed twice in the last 3 seasons for lacking that robust plan at OT.
People are all focused on when Mims will play and if the Bengals might cut Trent Brown before the season and all this chatter. BUT to me the story is that together they represent the Bengals finally fixing the issue that has kept them from a ring twice now
Pretty sure Dax Hill is gonna be CB 4 to fill in outside cover tight ends and back up outside corner and take some snaps in the slot but I like Newton for depth as well
The coaches should know better than anyone else, but I heard others stating his 2023 was not as good as 2022. Didn't he get smoked against Travis Hunter of Colorado?
2 guys that I think are HUGE steals. DE Cedrick Jackson and C Matt Lee ! Jackson has an unbelievable "Motor" and at the college level ( the SEC by the way ) seemed to ALWAYS be around the ball, which is something you just can't coach ! Lee is very athletic, needs some more weight on him...could probably play OG as well as Center and replace Volson or become a valuable depth piece. And I have to throw Texas Tech P - Austin Macnamara in there as well ( Undrafted Free Agent ) how many times did Robbins not flipping field position cost us last season..he could be huge !
Zack Moss. Another great tool for JoeyB. I believe this pick up is slept on and the Moss/Brown duo in the backfield is going to be electric

Watch Tanner's Highlight reel....he got open down the seam EVERY time ! There's only him catching a ton of seam routes and about 3 outlet passes. He reminds me of Eifert ! But Erick All is a BEAST if he can stay healthy. He can catch, block and run...if he could have stayed healthy...he might have given Bowers a run for his money as far as being the first TE picked.

Hopefully the fella is a steal. I eas thinking that the front office kept seeing and hearing fans saying draft newton, draft newton......and they drafted the wrong damn one lol. We meant johnny newton. I didnt want johnny newton though. I like how it went. I wanted tvondre sweat though. Burton will be out steal of the draft
