Been running my rustler hoping for a breakage so I can get some upgrades. So far no luck 🙈 been running perfect! Out of this and my e revo 2.0 the rustler is my preferred RC. Drives so nice!!
It’s pretty cool system, I took the module out of my slash 4x4 ultimate and put it into my telemetry, temperature ready UDR, automatically updates on the app. Pretty sweet. Just ordered the monster 26 amp dual 4 s charger
Would be cool if you got the Dock base TRX6510 and just 'dummy' mount it on the transmitter and attach an iphone 5 or something. That's what im planning. Not using the cable but the bt transmitter.
I just got this truggy and broke the front right lower arm, so I ordered aluminum lowers with piggyback shocks for the front and back with the telemetry add-on and gps with a mount for my TQi controller... I wish you would have done the build without the 400 servo first for comparison to the stock servo. I am running a 2s battery currently and plan to upgrade my batteries to 3s soon with backup driveshafts to replace the stock ones as I have been told that with a 3s battery setup I will likely strip out the stock driveshafts...
The stuff you are use in is all I need to get my rustler 4x4 vxl voltage speed battery and temperatures love your videos I have bin a fan of rcdriver for many years can I get some stickers for my trucks thanks
I have one on mine and to be honest it's a pain to get it off once it's on. There are screw holes on the fan but haven't looked to see if it lines up to anything?
Great video. I set up the telemetry and the GPS module is working. Now I want to connect some other sensors but I can't figure out which cables to get. This is all very confusing. How do I get the battery and temperature readings? Which cables do I have to buy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I can't get my GPS module to find a satellite it just keeps blinking green at found one one time actually two times and before I could get the body on it went away and now it won't connect at all just flashes green
Wouldnt it just be cheaper to buy a spectrum or futaba radio witj telementry and a built in screen instead of using the junk rtr radio it comes with and buying all that crap to install in there? I mean im running a a spectrum radio and castle electrics in my rustler 4x4 and its great. Btw where does one get the orange wheels and wing etc...?
Is Gps and expander just for speed. I just won’t temp . Rpm and batt sensors . Can I just plug those into tqi receiver ? I have Bluetooth module and app,

It's all included - Oh no it isn't - it never is.. You need a telemetry expander mount, then you find you need the chassis reinforcement to mount it on and so on. Traxxas should rename themselves - extra parts required. It would not be so bad if they told you up front what you needed, so you don't have multiple orders all with minimum postage applied. Don't ask Traxxas themselves as you will get incorrect answers and end up buying the wrong parts like I did. I like the quality of the models themselves but their instructions and parts lists are c**p.
Hooking up the telemetry stuff is a piece of cake. Making it work is another thing altogether.

If traxxas servos are junk why don’t they add the good ones on it instead of making you buy a new traxxas servo

I'm surprised there isn't any screws holding the fan to the ESC.
I have one on mine and to be honest it's a pain to get it off once it's on. There are screw holes on the fan but haven't looked to see if it lines up to anything?

If you use the phone app to set up steering, does it have to be always connected for the settings?

If i switch my receiver and radio out for my Futaba 7PX will i lose the self-righting feature or is there a way to program that back into the radio?

No it has to be a Traxxas tqi so the module can communicate with the expander
