Well, expect for Vshojo, which has been scoping up a lot of of exNiji. You don't mature enough to remove yourself from one toxic company only to go to another. Especially one that CAN'T keep the vtuber IP if they leave.
Some people that thought Hololive wasn't a good company are recalibrating and realizing that Cover runs a tight ship and previously when someone like Kiara complained, she did it freely and without consequence.
PhaseConnect had a reputation for being a hive of menhera, but they also have very good retention and many friends of PC want to join. It's not hard to find those PC Year One horror stories, but Sakana wanted a stable company and responded to his talents complaints.
I would also put V4Mirai and most of BraveGroup as one of the good ones. They lost one recently, but it seems to have been life circumstances and they aren't returning to their PL.

I think he’s a jerk but not part of the clique if there even is one, and considering how many problems he’s had with them behind the scenes sounds like he doesn’t actually believe that (though probably less once Luxiem exploded in popularity, that ain’t a clique issue it’s a money issue)
I also think he’s just not stable mentally like at all.

I don't think there's an actual clique. These people suffer from poor self-esteem and I think management is doing it's best to keep these people from forming groups of any kind, grops provide strength in numbers.
From what I read in the Luca expose it seems like Vox was one of the good guys trying to get something going for management to respond to and do something, Luca on the other hand may have been one of the one's harassing others along with Aster.
Luca constantly pulling Deez Nuts jokes and then finally finding Scarle as one to contantly bug about it seems to me as that was the public face of harassment and behind the scenes probably something worse.
Most of the girls called him out on it and shut Luca down hard.
It's worth noting that Mint also made a tweet that simply said "also April 4th! (4/4)," so there could be more news incoming.

Honestly super happy to see Mint is staying indie and at least right now not joining a group and instead just collabing with folks she wants to.
I think someone as big as Mint doesn't need an agency / company and this means all of her choices going forward are hers alone. Keeping my fingers crossed for a certain mintybird collab in the futre.
But she wants to be an idol and hololive is the best place to go achieve that... Maybe she returning to indie could be moving forward to Gen 4 or not.. We can cope or wait. She was really fitted to be in hololive though, unlike DOKI, who is beer as full indie.
Sayu in the other hand, would be better if she joined Phase Connect, as a Phase invader or affiliate... That extra pinch of help would be useful for her vtuber carreer
@@LatinHetaliaPeru Mint honestly doesn't need them now if she wants to go more idol focused all she needs to do is tweet and she will have mountain of support from fans and companies looking to jump on her side, hololive is great but it comes with restrictions given her past I doubt she wants that again.
Same thing happens with Doki who has been winning everyday with sponsorships etc.
As for Sayu she's in the same boat shes doing fine on her own hell her sub count on YT alone is higher than most of Phase members and from watching her will never be joining an agency given the past shit she dealt with and again she doesn't need one.
Like we are entering a phase where agencies are nice but there not a necessary function anymore. The idea of needing an agency to achieve your goals just isnt true these days theres so many resources out there now that its just not needed.

Funny thing is that the people who had real talents are the ones getting kicked out. Selen is good when organizing events. That Nijiwrestle was so amazing, I think (but I am not sure), Hololive made their own afterwards.
Pomu has a real recognizable laugh. She is also very positive since she laughs a lot.
Nina has motherly nature. I originally don't like her because I felt she was out of place, character wise. Like her aura is like that of 30+ years old and the other livers are like 20-24 aura. But she grew on me afterwards.
Imagine Hololive kicking out Korone to graduate... No you cannot imagine that. Because that's how these three should've been in Nijisanji. They could've been a strong pillar but they prefer people with more...... potty mouth, just to put it in a positive way (Enna, Finana, Millie, Elira, you can see the resemblance)
The only two people I think that is holding the company at this point is Rosemi, due to her "pure and innocent" nature or at least how it shows on screen and Scarle, a little bit unhinged but not as bad as the others.
Scarle reminds me of Jodi (Quarterjade) from Offline TV. It's not the voice and I'm not sure why.
Now we need Scarle to graduate and go indie because she’s the only thing keeping nijisanji yacht from sinking.
I've said it before, but it's going to be very telling to see how many EN stick around by the end of the year. It's obvious there's a queue and we know that Niji will withhold money if they skip out early.
Rosemi and vivi too the yacht just keep sinking Kyo is probably the last person they're gonna let graduate so far.(Honestly depressing how little views they have now compare before all because it was "neglible"

Honestly, I’m just glad she’s back. I don’t care if she’s going indie or if she’s joining a company, I’m just glad she’s doing okay. That VOD was heartbreaking to listen to, and it’s good to see she’s still going strong.
As for Luca…meh, I couldn’t care less. Niji is just full of shitty people: Riku, Vox, Enna, Millie, Uki, etc. There are a few good apples like Scarle and Rosmi, but for the most part, it’s a shitty company run by shitty people.

@@NicoDoesLP There was a document that was read by Elira, Vox, and Ike that mentioned Enna and Millie regarding Selen/Dokibird’s situation. It was known that Selen was bullied within the company, so Enna and Millie’s inclusion in her legal document was a big red flag.
And WAY before that, there was an Ethyria collab where Enna made a comment about an “apex predator that brings others down to make themselves look good” and ends it with “Sounds like someone I know.” After that, everyone except Nina start laughing, as if she’s the only one who doesn’t understand what the others are laughing about or knows and didn’t want to express it.
Millie also defended the company saying it wasn’t a black company, which crumbled almost immediately by reading a list of terminations and graduations.
There was also when she responded to Selen about the privating of her cover of Last Cup of Coffee, and that made people think she was patronizing Selen or something.

We actually pretty much knew that Pomu cannot join not only Vshojo but any other company either as didn't the leaked documents debunked by LegalMindset say that the liver may not be able to join any other company for a set amount of time? as that was also the reason why Nina didn't join anyone for so long IDK how Kuro joined Vshojo quicker but yeah.
That same document said Niji owns the livers homes. They could try to enforce the non-compete, but would lose 99.9% of the time.

@rwind4186 It was that clause. As written, anything used during a single stream belongs to Niji. It doesn't have to appear in the stream, and if you stream inside, you legally used the building for the stream. Regardless, the contract is unenforceable outside of Japan, and possibly in Japan. There was another clause that allowed them to force you to stream from a ready in the middle of the ocean if they deemed it necessary.

I doubt Doki will go corporate again. She's setting up well to do the indie gig, and she regularly pulls 6k viewers on her streams at the moment. Minty I'm not as sure on. She may or may not join another company. She could definitely be indie if she wanted, but she might try to go for hololive.

It is strange to me how all the rainbow retirees either go to Vshojo or its broader sphere of influence, or they go off and do their own thing. Initially I thought there would be a sort of "united front" against anycolor, but it appears that there are still divisions.
That said, the level of non-interaction with Dokibird still surprises me.
If the rrat was correct it would seem most of them disliked her. Doki is my favorite so I say good riddance to all the cliques and "friend" groups from there. They don't have to like eachother but something is off.

You know, this is a good compromise, many were hoping that Pomu would either join Hololive(because she would fit right in) or she would stay indie, others wanted her to join Vshoujo because some of ex-niji livers are there. But this is good because while she doesn't join Hololive(for they do not take auditions so often) she still engages with her niji colleagues, streams, and waits for a possibility to join Holo in the future, she keeps a ton of options open and still advances her career.
This might be her dipping her toes back into a company experience. She's only promised the podcast, but you know she's going to start hanging out with the other VSJ members now that she's back to using a vtuber model. She's very old friends with Henya and how long do you think it will take for her to be back on SotD with Ironmouse?

@@shib5267 Because corpo doesn't immediately mean bad, also strict rules and clauses COULD potentially be the cause she left but doesn't mean it is, because niji has way more problems than just their contract, and rules, like bad management, little investment in EN, toxic environment, favoritism, selective enforcement of rules, lack of staff, prioritization of investors above their talents and so forth. Notice that none of the reasons i mentioned has anything to do with contracts? Also "strict" rules is too generic, some rules are applied to avoid problems, it depends on the management of the company.
Honestly after the Nijisanji I would wouldn't be keen to join Vshojo. Niji cliques is the source of a lot of their problems and Vshojo (as lovely as everyone in it is) is a clique company. Everyone is a friend of a friend, and you can only get in if you know someone. IDK if I was in Pomu or Doki's situation past experiences would make that a no go for me.
I am happy people got Pomu back as a indie vtuber, she is going to be successful no doubt about that.

I think Pomu would be a perfect fit for Hololive, but I'll support her wherever she goes.
If she can Collab with HoloShojo talents, the only reason to join would be resourcing (3D concerts and the like are hard for an indie, so it makes sense for Calliope or Suisei to be corpo rather than indie Suisei/Evil2D6).
If you aren't going down the high production Pekora hole, no real need for a high profile vTuber to go corpo with Holo. VShojo would make even less sense, unless you have legal issues with content platforms they can help with perhaps.

I always had a feeling she would return to her past life account, especially since that's what happened with doki. Heck just the thought of doki and mint having a collab sounds amazing.
Would I had liked for Maid Mint to join Vshojo? Yes! offcourse I would have.
However even if she doesn't, this is already big that people have convinced her to try once more. After Kurosanji she was done, done with everything, done with all the stress that company had put her truth, done with all the unfair situations she was in (with being denied projencts she wanted, with recording sessions/business trips in the studio that were cut short, with 3D concerts that were denied, with a *once-in-a-lifetime* opportunity that was layed off without any feedback to her.)
So her plans for the future was to go back to school and follow an educations. However it seems these feelings have changed once more and I'm happy she's returning, giving her creativity another shot. I'm sure she will jump up in followers very quickly, cause I know a lot of Pomudachi that missed her.
I hope it's going to be like Matara, K9kuro, Quinn, Doki and Sayu, that she will gain alot of followers soon and she will get that playbutton in her own hands.
Edit: I'm glad that people like Matara, K9Kuro and Kiara got her and made her love Vtubing again.
Honestly glad and think it's the best choice for Mint to come back as indie for a while. She can mingle and get to know all sorts of indies and companies and make a more informed decision down the line. If her goal of becoming a big time idol is really what she wants then she can try for Holo down the road. If not, well, she can take whatever path best suits her goals.
Mint may not be joining VShojo officially, but I mean, we've got a weekly podcast/collab with Matara, and she's VERY well-liked in the VTuber scene. It's only a matter of time before Mint and Henya collab on a weekly basis in Minecraft. She may TECHNICALLY not be a part of VShojo, but that doesn't mean she won't be collabing with them on a regular basis. Same goes for Doki as well.

I already knew from the beginning that it wasn't going to be a new member joining Vshojo as much as I wanted it to be but I knew it would be the latter and then again Hime hajime returning is still surprising because SydSnap already shown that she only joined just to get recognized by a audience and then she wouldn't even follow it up when she found out that Being a Vtuber would be a full Job and SydSnap would rather talk about hentai stuff and occasionally doing voice over work instead of being a Vtuber and I can already see that her just being a Vtuber full time after 2 years is just going to be really wierd

there's always the possibility that Mint announces that she'll be joining Vshojo during the podcast/ in the preshow that Mata is doing and not announcing it outright. But, that's TBD at this point in time

joining vshojo or not, i'm just glad that mint is free. but still just like what kson said, joining vshojo will get her security and promotions. but that decision is up to mint herself imo. holo or vshojo, both places she got great friends. reminds me of that awesome recent dance duo deer skin and cake princess dance video.

They said that the Mint podcast is temporary, so I deeply suspect they're trying to get her used to streaming again. Vshojo is doing Anime Expo in July, so that's likely where they will make the announcement. Also, Vshojo is helping with the all the technical stuff on the podcast.
Tbh, the document is like self expose for the maker... There are issues that you'd already mentioned and some already known info but... Maybe the person who made it needs to learn how to choose a friend... She seemed to already experiencing some craps from Luca yet somehow still stick with him for some reason... Even helped him SO MUCH bruh.

In a way, that upcoming podcast still lines up with Hololive's joining schedule. Everyone that joins Hololive that used to be a PL vtuber all cease streaming as the actual vtuber model. However, depending on the format they choose for their podcast, Minty wont need to run her vtuber model to partake in the podcast.
I would like to believe this is a creative compromise to still let Minty's have fun publicly with her online friends while not directly challenging known patterns that could be NDA related.
Just speculation for now. Only time will give us the full answer.
There are many hololive talents who still use/stream in their PL tho
@@maryam-nusa Agreed, I'm mainly referring to patterns we've seen with people's old accounts. They usually graduate and simply don't touch the account for 6 months before debuting. Though, I can also think of using Graduations for the get-by money before fully getting past the waiting period.
That said, my previous comments an be disregarded. Minty revealed an updated model of her design. So, we're either seeing the real extent of what's allowed when moving over to Cover, or we're simply seeing Minty choose the Indy life first.
What matters most is she's not afraid to be active again, and that makes everyone a winner at this table.
I'mma be real, going indie feels like the best option for new/returning vtubers nowadays. Even with "good" agencies like Holo and Phase, the benefits in exchange for your freedom don't seem worth it anymore, especially with Niji showing us how much they can really screw over their talents when they want to.
