The sound deadening in the car really hides it well to me i feel like im quiet in street going home 6am but watching my friend drive down the street slowly its loud as hell to me but i still love it.
I own a Hellcat and even I know that the Scat pack exhaust will always sound better by a Lil. You just cant beat the sound of an N/A engine. its just impossible!!

How's the drone, if any, inside the cabin? I know these cars have great insulation and insulated windows but seems a bit raspy when it gets up there. At least from video audio

It's very minimal almost non-existent but than again my car is manual so when it's in high gear the revs are around 2k if your is standard it might be around 3k so it might be a little louder than mine but I think you'll be fine

I asked and as long as it doesn't throw a engine code or mess with the ecu it will be fine, I've taken it in multiple times for recalls on the calipers and other miscellaneous things without issues
Its confusing to people because on these cars the muffler is where the resonator is on most cars so it looks like the resonator being removed but it is indeed the muffler chopped off.
Not a mechanic but the jist of it is that there is an exhaust chamber between the engine and exhaust tips, it's to muffle sound. You remover the chamber and put a straight pipe.
On the 392s there's a muffler and a resonator chamber on the stock exhaust. Most that I have seen leave the resonator but eliminate the mid mufflers. It will increase how loud it is but you may want to check videos comparing the mid muffler removal vs mid muffler and resonator removal to figure out which you like better. I personally like the sound when you keep the resonators better but that's just me.

My buddy with a 392 charger did a mid muffler delete and I can't hear my exhaust over his for shit and mine was louder than his by far before that. His still had a really deep tone to it. A 5.7l w/ a mid muffler delete was louder than mine and depper toned than mine..
Why does it default to Dodge charger if I don't strictly say challenger in my search? The modern challenger is the ugliest pos out there lol idk how people like these looks bring back the old one

For the pipe did you keep it at 2.75 or did you increase it? Apparently increasing stops the raspy and deepens it more
I used 3in over the 2.75 it fit snugly

Is not noticeable while your are cruising, when you step on the pedal hard its noticeable but not overwhelming

This was technically a mid resonator delete
Its confusing to people because on these cars the muffler is where the resonator is on most cars so it looks like the resonator being removed but it is indeed the muffler chopped off.
