    Next time, use a leak tester for every water cooling project. Keep it in your pocket. Use it before filling liquid in your water loop.
    If you're not familiar, a leak tester is a tool for detecting leaks by pumping air into your water loop. There is a pressure level to monitoring how much air is in the loop. After pumping the air, wait a few hours until there is no visible pressure drop.
    There are many brands that have leak testers. Examples EKWB, Barrow, Byksi, or any brand.
    Btw, congrats for your works. I know its not easy for the first time🎉
    *note : i'm sorry if my english not very good well

    You are a down to earth guy. At least you "DARED" to do a custom loop. I wanted to do one but never got around.🥰

      Yeah took me so long to finally do it!

    Nv give up! Everyone make mistake at the beginning. Learn for mistake and push forward. 💪🏼

    Never easy going into a custom water cooled build first time. There will always be mistakes. But hey, I learnt smth new with the 'alcohol on motherboard trick' so thank you!

    Beginner pc build I thought you saw how your PC was running thought I didn't feel like watching anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Really cool build, congrats! And while tragic, the way you handled the leakage was highly entertaining, so thanks I guess? =) I'm extremely paranoid and would want to swap the mobo just to make sure there are no unpleasant surprises while I'm working. Here's hoping your mobo is in 100% working condition. Cheers mate!

    Thank you for this video! I learn a lot more from this than ones that go smooth!
    Also, I currently use good AIO's for the reasons you state, on my own PC's, and do Air or AIO for friends too. I would like to do custom eventually, but cost and possible mistakes have me waiting. But I will eventually. Thank you!

    one thing we learn in the video is 99% alcohol save the day. We have 1 last try with 99% alcohol before we give up.

    always ALWAYS for the love of all things.
    Always pump air into the whole system and check for compression.
    Never just put a loop together and fill it up and hope for the best!!!!!!
    LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • @yuchuga8341
    @yuchuga8341 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can buy a EK leak tester and always do a check before filling up the coolant.

    Nice build, I plan on doing something very similar, I think the only differences are that I'll be using a 4090 TUF and the white/silver version of the motherboard. Unfortunately the 7950x3D is sold out here and it looks like it might take a month to come back in stock, though I was going to wait a week or two to see if any issues pop up with them anyway.

    Just an idea if u will do a video on the steam deck? Was genuinely curious on this unique portable gaming "PC". Some calls it breaking the boundaries between consoles and pc. Would like to hear your take on it Julian

    shouldnt you insulate those bare capacitors on your cpu pcb from liquid metal? This is a dangerous mount. Use something like nail polish protects the caps

    Maybe can invest in a leak gauge or something 🤔 to test for leaks before putting in the coolants liquid

  • @howvincent5648
    @howvincent5648 ปีที่แล้ว

    Should put in a Drain valve close to bottom of reservoir.
    Do a pressure leak test before adding the coolant in.

    seems like for a lazy person like me i would never be able to do a custom water loop it seems too much work.

  • @rnegoro1

    Errmmmmm this is more to the hobbyist side , most people now either use AIO or air cooling. Custom is just too expensive - was surprised it went up to $1k. A decent AIO will cost like $250.
