Rolling Hay: New Idea 402 Bar Rake

Just a short clip of my brother rolling windrows to finish up drying down the underside of the hay. He was in town over the weekend and never misses an opportunity to help with hay! This was cut on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend and baled on Monday. It was very nice, green second cutting that measured 14-18 percent moisture when baled. This is a little higher than I’d typically like, but without e chance to bale Tuesday, it had to be done. I was pretty happy getting 45 bales from second cutting on a field that’s a little under 2 acres. Thanks for watching and as always, enjoy!
