  • ** If you're planning to try this recipe, please boil the beef honeycomb tripe first until it's soft and tender to your personal preference because a couple of viewers have tried it (uncooked like I did in this video) and they said theirs turned out very tough. I never had to cook the beef honeycomb tripe before until I bought some from Walmart. The tripe was more thick and dense then the ones I normally get at my local Asian grocery store and when I fried it up (uncooked like I normally do) it turned out very tough too! 😞 Maybe it depends on the age of the cow?? So to avoid it turning out like tough leather, please pre-cook the beef honeycomb first!

    Garlic powder
    Tempura flour
    Panko bread crumbs
    Oil for frying
