- We hear a lot about "joy to the world" this time of year. Seth Doane talks with the Dalai Lama, a man for whom the pursuit of happiness is just part of the job. They discuss "The Book of Joy," which the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists has co-authored with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
This man is the wisest person I know of. He is so traditional but yet has such a modern mindset. I love him

Happiness from the inside what does it mean. Dalai lama is a good man but when a man like him uses terms like happiness from inside it makes me wonder does he know what he is talking. We should not brain wash our children about GOD soul etc. This way their mind will find out what is the truth early on. Not be a confused person like me. A person who has to work through all the junk people have put in his/her mind. A free mind from all inputs of the world is what I would like to be.
Read the book. It’s not really about religion. It’s about the humanity that unites everyone. The third author who works with them is a secular Jew.
