"The world is one big domain." Thank you for this! This is something I've been trying to articulate about how the world and why it *feels* so much better to explore it. I cannot count the number of times I let myself get sidetracked from farming echoes just to go check out some shiny thing in the distance. Speaking of, even though echo exp and tuners aren't abundant, because echoes themselves can be farmed (almost) indefinitely, I'm no longer worried that I'm going to spend my stamina without getting anything of value.

I can agree with the tittle, despite Wuthering waves having it’s negative *cough cough* gacha game, BUT everything else can overhaul it
Yea sometimes, I can ignore the gacha aspect in this game because skill matters more imo.
They massively reduced shell credits cost to upgrade echos too with 1.1 so there's that
As a genshin and HSR player, I'm not trying to be bias here, but it's just the reality.The voice and story telling needs more work. It's not even comparable to genshin's early story telling (mondstadt archon quest). And they follow all genshin's mistakes too, the story quests are more about NPCs rather than the character, etc, etc...
Oh, and I found this weird mistake they had on a NPC in yinlin's story quest where the voice of a woman was suddenly replaced with a man (?) I have no idea what's going on.
I'm fairly certain we agree on most of what you said, however, I think I enjoyed the latter half of the wuwas story more than Mondstadts latter half, but I enjoyed Mondstadt more at the beginning than wuwas beginning. But thanks for watching! 😊
What story quest are u even talking about cuz most of the story was with the rover talking to characters, very few times do we even talk to NPCs even amongst the first few acts which are the worst parts you really don’t talk to any NPCs
I wouldn't agree on your take on companion quest. The NPCs do not overstay, they are there but the whole plot point still revolves around the main character.
While YinLin plot could be better, it successfully conveyed her motivation and her origins. In fact, her quest is what Yelan's storyquest should've been.

WuWa lacks the polish of Genshin and personally I find the team building of Genshin more satisfying. There's just not too much mess around with outside of outro skills but this aspect may improve in the future with new characters.
I will say this though, when I play Genshin now, I keep trying to press dodge after jumping even though it doesn't do anything Genshin.
Yea, WuWa is one of those games that I have to "unlearn" when I go back to genshin because of the little mechanics it added, but I think your position is super valid. I do hope that they flesh out wuwa mechanics more, even though I already like the foundation a lot
I think team building more fun on wuwa since u got echos active skill u can do crazy stuff and swap cancels
Like I said in the other videos, The echo part is what keeps this game from being great. Hunting echos is fun but the echo exp is painful to get.
P.S: ver. 1.1 have solved the tuner problems. Thank god.

Damn, these games look beautiful but they're just not our thing as soon as Gacha gets involved.
For me personally, at that point it's less "Hey let me play for fun." and more "Speedrun this sh#t until I get the next free pull.".
