Aalto mains can you test out his midair attack and let me know that I am not tripping PLS 😭😭 ( A copy pasta comment by me hehe) Thank you! According to Wuthering.wiki and his skill info the forte circuit his mid-air attack will still generate mist-drop as long as it passes thru the mist gate and it hits an enemy. Now that you (cookiewithlove) mentioned it, I did retest the mid-air attacks and kept a close eye on the mist drops generation. I'm so sad to say that upon mutiple rounds of testing, only the first shot generated a mist drop and NOT ALL SHOT that pass thru the gate generated a mist drop???? AM I TRIPPIN???? That's so dissapointing!! According to his skill info, ALL mid-air attacks in theory should generate a stack for his forte circuit as long as it hits an enemy and it passes thru a mist gate CAN WE PLS ALL SUBMIT A TICKET TO KURO GAMES TO MAKE THEM FIX THIS??? Aalto mains we deserve better than this. Don't let the devs nerf him more than they already have PLS.😭😭 I still love him and his playstyle is amazing. I agree with your standpoint in a sense where the devs made his scaling so bleh and wanted to force him into a more supportive role. I have tested it recently and mine fills up with midair attacks; just not as fast as when you're standing doing the basic attack combo. With a full jump and shooting into the mist...I usually get about 10 or 11 shots (I play on pc) in...and it generates 2 mist bullets. When I jump and grapple into the mist, it generates 3. So I guess it just generates the mist bullets slowly if done mid-air? But I dunno...it might be a bug and not work for everyone? Or maybe they might have fixed it recently? 😅 Anyway, great video! I love Aalto and love seeing that more people are loving Aalto and making content on him. 😆 Edit: OK so A re-tested it today and I noticed it didn't work sometimes. It definitely is bugged. 😅😆😭
Well it doesn't really matter because his forte circuit does so little damage in comparison to his basic attack multipliers. It's a dps loss of you try and focus on his forte
@austinlim54 Yes true. A bulk of the damage is his midair attacks, however, you need to utilize his skill and his forte when your stamina is low. Otherwise, you'll have dps loss waiting for your stamina to refill just to jump attack again. Also, fighting high level bosses with 0 stamina gets you killed. 😆
After building up Chixia, yangyang, and Taoqi, I came to the conclusion that there are no really bad characters in this game. Just players who didn't give them chance because they see numbers on their kit and not their potential.
YangYang with rly good echoes does the most dmg out of any char with her ulti so she is rly good as a quick swap char, also Chixia pretty much does 5 star lvl dps if u play her right and Taoqi is better than Verina for some chars as long as u don't actually need heals and just buffs and dmg xd
The problem is with mid-air attacks is... The dev's nerfed his mid-air attack to not generate stacks to his forte circuit. So its like sacrificing potential dmg that could have been used after a rotation with him. They really wanted to gut his damage to the point, many would get frustrated due to his desperate need for investment to be a decent [Carry.] when others can reach that point with much less investment. Safety and ease of use is what his kit provides and everyone underrates this. At S3... He's the best concerto spammer generator due to his 3 shots ACTUALLY providing triple concerto gains for him which is crazy. Forcing him into the support role perfectly. [From a chixia/Aalto user, who uses him like decoy/escape tool. You won't even need a bloody healer because bosses and enemies would be too busy wasting their time on his clone.] He's the ultimate cheeze cheat if you play him right.

Im a casual Chixia user and trying to be an Aalto main and yes gun users are underrated, they are the most fun units to play outside of mortefi because he helps buff heavy attack users like Jiyan. Hope everyone can join in the gun fun
This definitely a great guide for him! Aalto had catch my eye on his playstyle since beginning and seeing more deeper info about him made me sure that he will be my Gun dps in the meantime, as i find fast movement gameplay so cool, in which answers why I currently main Lingyang but once i started feeling like playing safe as combat gets harder the higher the challenges is for melee type characters, Aalto would definitely finish the job!
Seems like more and more Aalto mains are coming out lately. 😂 Seriously though, these "low-tier" units are actually viable if you pull their kit properly, not just stat boosting.

i have him built and i dont regret it lol, my comp with her for holo bosses is yinlin and verina. feels like a rougelite game when you practically bestow him with yinlin off field skill
Btw, about the mist trick, you can actually do it on the ground without the jump. Just go through the mist and attack right away instead of charging the mist bullets.. it is much simplier

Trying my best to build him, I got like S5 of this dude and his playthrough is so fun. I was lucky enough to pull a static mist last night, and now I'm grinding my hardest on echos substat (Void & Seirra set are on my hate list of echoes to farm). I got annoyed by that Dragon echo flying out of my reach, so I tested Aalto despite having pretty shit echos set. He did really well!
after getting multiple Aalto sequences on my 2nd account, i decided to try him as main dps ~ (i don't have jiyan there so) and he's growing on me..still learning how his kit works etc
Also the best combo ive found to keep the mist gate up is do 1 basic attack combo than spam mid air shots. You should have the skill off cool down to repeat the process

OH another Onion level person! Jokes aside I feel Alto slots in well in any Aero team as a sub dps and his own damage is not to sneezed at! His kit is just complicated compared to alternatives, and I think that brings him down in a lot of peoples minds.
Aalto was my first not scripted 4* and I got him at S3 in the next 30 pulls, at first I just thought "I don't want to play gun characters, they can't even parry... it is taken part of the combat away" but after seeing some CC's love for chixia and aalto, I'm starting to reconsider ... I want to lvl up aalto, chixia and taoqi but I need to save resource for changli, to make my cute encore even stronger LMAO, but I'll hold the knowledge to aalto techs for the future. Thank you for the well explained video, it was really easy to understand, I just wish that you've tried the holo V instead of IV ... because a well built character can easily take a boss in the same level, 10 levels is the true challenge, and 20 levels is whale levels (just my opinion, just based in experience)... ... also show the current status after the boss, it help to have an idea of what is needed to deploy that amount of dmg

It works and doesn't work. If you are going to use yangyang and swap in between them. The bottleneck for yangyang is her ultimate. You have to have enough we to be able to use her ultimate off cool down or it's a dps loss

Im deffo gonna use him, but for his buffs, Chixia is just much stronger and I'm used to her by now. Hopefully there will be a 5 star gunslinger dps eventually and I'll still have asterite left.
This is one of very few things WuWa is losing to Genshin at the moment (along with the story writing that in WuWa looks more like a draft rather than a finished piece). But give them some time and, hopefully, we won't need to borrow it from other games.
@@lunochkal1861 i also find music lacking, it seems like another studio works on the game rn and afaik Kuro is already planning to make a contract with Vanguard Sound studio who did amazing job in their previous game (PGR). I can't say current music is plain bad, it just sounds really generic sometimes and sometimes it's pretty good. I would like to have more consistent music considering how big this project is.
Love Aalto so much! My favourite character. Started the game hoping to play him and was super lucky to get him on the first 10-pull on the novice banner. He's got his Static Mist, S3 and, although, Mortefi outdamages him, I am still building him and with your tips I hope to increase damage to a comfortable level. He is such an amazing character to play in overworld - jokes, outgoing personality, "weeeeee" and "bang-bang-bang!", just cool! I mained him during the first 30+ hours out of my current 100+ hours gameplay and will get him the best Echoes as soon as 1.1 drops and the price on leveling them won't be so ridiculous. Btw, loved Enkanomiya soundtrack in his showcase part :) Thank you for the video. Slow showcase is crucial for this fast-paced game, this was very helpful!

MY god FINALLY AN AALTO MAIN! I've been trying to convince people how fun he is and lowkey kinda strong too. i ended up having him at s5 as i wished on yinlin banner and boy am i glad.

There is a big difference in terms of stats with 4 star unit, 5 star standard unit and a 5 star banner. just for example the crit rate. 5 star standards only have 5% while banners have 13%. Just helping other people to choose who to upgrade first brcause the resource are so limited . Even you get a S5 with this character, you wont get same experience with a 5s banner specially in overall damage. It's a trash bro don't make the same mistake with this guy. Prioritize your 5s unit before getting trash unit as main character
imo every character is OP (Wuwa) it's just that people just neglect them unlike a certain game that they gave you a useless character from the start, even MC here is OP
tip for the mistcloak dash you can change the initial direction of the dash after dodging into the mist by holding on to a direction key after the dodge animation begins, so you can dash in and go directly behind the mist so you dont have to circle back, you can also do this with the air dash useful for when your just trying to whale on something
I think people don't like him because there is no main Aero DPS and it requires a certain level of skills compared to others. And the guns usage vs counters. That's my opinion from what I've seen so far from CCs and comments.
Seq 6 aalto turns him into a crit buffer. Even melee users can take advantage of this if the enemy stays inside his wall: Which they normally don't, but hey... you can always wait for it to get stunned then burst the living crap out of them.
Hello fellow Aalto main here, first of all loved the video and content, love my boy Aalto and his playstyle and can't wait to solo crazy bosses. As for the testing I think I found out some other tech. In air you can get more stacks by not spam clicking so the aa string resets and gives another stack, you can also dash in air to get another stack aka another way to reset aa combo, and lastly in a group scenario he gets a stack for every different target he hits. Love the guide and learned thanks for teaching me some new tech to try out.
Thank you for watching the video and testing out Aalto Mid air attack. During my testing, I only did test it on single target enemy (the bird) so it only generated one stack. I should test it out in muti-target senarios. With that being said tho, I just find it so weird that he only generate one mist drop in single-target scenarios because theoritically he should generate a stack for ALL bullets that pass thru the mist gate. Thats something I think Kurogames need to fix. Thank you so muich for testing it and I appreciate it so much ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

I don't rbink he ks the worst character in any of the tier lists, Yuanwu and Taoqi are usuallt the ones rated at the bottom, and Aalto is just a decent sub dps option, but he needs high sequence to be good.
Im quite curious about the ult - i feel like theres some kind of mechanic regarding slamming ur head into it to immediately trigger the mist bullet release but im not entirely sure. Kinda sad hes still janky in the mist bullet department but hes super fun! Aalto salesmen rise UP
HIII thanks for the question. For the gate, if you poke your head into the gate that is made by the ULT it does release the mist bullets and it also will convert Aalto to go into the special dash state. So I rec to use ult first and then use E to dash backward to prevent that from happening. I hope I answered your question ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

@@CVGTigz I haven't run into stamina problems because I'm not solely mid air attacking. I'm splitting it 50/50 with 1 ground combo and 1 midair combo.

Just like Aalto, I actually think people sleep on Yuanwu as a support factor. His stagger damage is insane and he can parry impressively easy too.

It's such a dissonance hearing Genshin music in a WuWa video...
This is one of very few things WuWa is losing to Genshin at the moment (along with the story writing that in WuWa looks more like a draft rather than a finished piece). But give them some time and, hopefully, we won't need to borrow it from other games.
@@lunochkal1861 i also find music lacking, it seems like another studio works on the game rn and afaik Kuro is already planning to make a contract with Vanguard Sound studio who did amazing job in their previous game (PGR). I can't say current music is plain bad, it just sounds really generic sometimes and sometimes it's pretty good. I would like to have more consistent music considering how big this project is.

Love Aalto so much! My favourite character. Started the game hoping to play him and was super lucky to get him on the first 10-pull on the novice banner. He's got his Static Mist, S3 and, although, Mortefi outdamages him, I am still building him and with your tips I hope to increase damage to a comfortable level. He is such an amazing character to play in overworld - jokes, outgoing personality, "weeeeee" and "bang-bang-bang!", just cool! I mained him during the first 30+ hours out of my current 100+ hours gameplay and will get him the best Echoes as soon as 1.1 drops and the price on leveling them won't be so ridiculous. Btw, loved Enkanomiya soundtrack in his showcase part :) Thank you for the video. Slow showcase is crucial for this fast-paced game, this was very helpful!

I love how he doesnt take himself too seriously but can be when situation calls for it. On top of that I loved his resonator showcase so much. There is a big difference in terms of stats with 4 star unit, 5 star standard unit and a 5 star banner. just for example the crit rate. 5 star standards only have 5% while banners have 13%. Just helping other people to choose who to upgrade first brcause the resource are so limited . Even you get a S5 with this character, you wont get same experience with a 5s banner specially in overall damage. It's a trash bro don't make the same mistake with this guy. Prioritize your 5s unit before getting trash unit as main character

imo every character is OP (Wuwa) it's just that people just neglect them unlike a certain game that they gave you a useless character from the start, even MC here is OP
tip for the mistcloak dash you can change the initial direction of the dash after dodging into the mist by holding on to a direction key after the dodge animation begins, so you can dash in and go directly behind the mist so you dont have to circle back, you can also do this with the air dash
useful for when your just trying to whale on something

I think people don't like him because there is no main Aero DPS and it requires a certain level of skills compared to others. And the guns usage vs counters. That's my opinion from what I've seen so far from CCs and comments.

Seq 6 aalto turns him into a crit buffer.
Even melee users can take advantage of this if the enemy stays inside his wall: Which they normally don't, but hey... you can always wait for it to get stunned then burst the living crap out of them.
They work really well together because after yinlin uses her forte. Aalto can swap in and use his skill to safely attack and proc the yinlin s DMG
Hello fellow Aalto main here, first of all loved the video and content, love my boy Aalto and his playstyle and can't wait to solo crazy bosses. As for the testing I think I found out some other tech. In air you can get more stacks by not spam clicking so the aa string resets and gives another stack, you can also dash in air to get another stack aka another way to reset aa combo, and lastly in a group scenario he gets a stack for every different target he hits. Love the guide and learned thanks for teaching me some new tech to try out.
Thank you for watching the video and testing out Aalto Mid air attack. During my testing, I only did test it on single target enemy (the bird) so it only generated one stack. I should test it out in muti-target senarios. With that being said tho, I just find it so weird that he only generate one mist drop in single-target scenarios because theoritically he should generate a stack for ALL bullets that pass thru the mist gate. Thats something I think Kurogames need to fix. Thank you so muich for testing it and I appreciate it so much ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

I don't rbink he ks the worst character in any of the tier lists, Yuanwu and Taoqi are usuallt the ones rated at the bottom, and Aalto is just a decent sub dps option, but he needs high sequence to be good.

Im quite curious about the ult - i feel like theres some kind of mechanic regarding slamming ur head into it to immediately trigger the mist bullet release but im not entirely sure. Kinda sad hes still janky in the mist bullet department but hes super fun! Aalto salesmen rise UP
HIII thanks for the question. For the gate, if you poke your head into the gate that is made by the ULT it does release the mist bullets and it also will convert Aalto to go into the special dash state. So I rec to use ult first and then use E to dash backward to prevent that from happening. I hope I answered your question ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

I always did feel janky using the ult as a mist bullet trigger but maybe theres a smoother rotation im missing out on... i also wonder if his mist bullets do more damage when summoned via HeadBashUlt™️! Hes soo fun so many little details to learn :-)
One day I decided "well since I got all these 4* copies, I might as well build them" and now Taoqi, Aato and Yuanwu has become my favourite!!! aalto helped me defeated that angry spectro lvl 120 kitty, I hope to get his last copy for that 8% CR
Aalto vs lv 90 Boss: Epic 5 Minutes fight of dashing jumping dodging and shooting back and forth trying to min max every second to be able to even beat it in time
Jiyan whales vs lv 90 boss: pressing R to end the fight immediately and thinking that the game is too easy

imo, aalto's best set as the main damage dealer is 5 piece lingering tunes, even though its bugged right now.

why does his trace and S6 include heavy dmg%?
