A hot take, morph is a wild card for xmen and hero version of the chameleon. Crossover episode he team up with spiderman to fight against kraven and chameleon.
2:17 Nah, that was a great Wolverine impression. 😂 It's hard not to laugh at his melodramatics. Especially over what is essentially a brand new character with no significance to Wolverine's lore before the animated series.
I think people getting triggered over Morph being non-binary is pretty silly, especially since Morph was never a mainstream character in most X-Men media like Cyclops and Jean Grey.
It's hilariously silly! They're now concerned over a character who was never "big" in the comics and was given a bigger role in the animated series. Plus him being drawn the way he is makes sense, it's also how he's drawn in the comics...
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse No it doesn't. It's a stereotype. Remember mutants are normal people. The power is unrelated to them as people. It's limited thinking. But more than anything it has nothing to do with Morph from 90s X-Men.
What's a stereotype - being a shapeshifter or being non-binary? And how can you say that mutants are normal people when the whole show is literally about how mutants are not "normal" people... Hence why humans ("normal" people) want to exterminate them.
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse Wow. You should have kept that one to yourself. The entire point of X-Men is that we are all human and that normal is objective. You just implied in your response there that mutants are not human. "mutants are not "normal" people... Hence why humans ("normal" people) want to exterminate them."
@@collossuss10 I was talking from the standpoint of what the people (FOH, etc) in the show think. I totally consider them normal, hence the use of quotations.
It’s interesting how they used the Age of Apocalypse and Exiles style for Morph. I guess since some of the characters are getting new styles from some point in time from the comics. (Storm’s Mohak, Magneto’s new outfit)
@@genevieve7676 I haven’t watched the series yet as I hope to binge watch it after all episodes are released but based on the articles I read it’s possible they may have an episode cover AOA since they hinted a romantic tie between Magneto and Rogue which is what happened in that reality.
Hahah I tried my best on that impersonation! And thanks for watching and your thoughts. I had no idea about Morph's previous characterization before doing some research.
who is giving the logical ok for the logical jump that he 2 characters are the same? They dont have the same name, alias, story. How are they the same. In the 90s they told us morph was a new character.

i think it makes sense for a shapeshifter to identify as non binary
Totally does!

Agreed! It is interesting where they're pulling from but I like it.
A small part of me hopes for an AoA episode. Morph was awesome in that series and AoA is my favorite Rogue design.

I miss the old morph that laugh knowing he up to mischief as a kid i grew up with this version
That mischievous laugh he had was classic!
Well researched and interesting vid. And I thought your Wolverine impression was v good...😉🤣

@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse gotta admit when you had 'Morph' on the title I didn't realise it was Changeling. But I'm a very geeky very old hog!
I figured more folks would know who Morph is vs Changeling, hence the title and thumbnail text

Hot take I actually don't mind Morph being non binary.
A hot take I can get behind 💯
@MusclesAndTheMultiverse also when you think about it. It actually makes sense seeing what Morph's powers are.
It makes sense
Dude can be any gender at any time.
It really kinda fits.
i feel like this is a mandala effect.
Op character imo

I'm pretty sure the link comes from statements by creators. And they do have similar faces, at least.
I'm here for the ignorant comments.
I'm honestly surprised there aren't more yet...
