- In this video I discuss how I found out I could play Paintball. I learned nothing is out of reach for any of us who are Blind or Visually Impaired.

I’m watching this with my BF, Because he really wants me to play paintball. He says I wouldn’t even have to use my cane he would grab my hand and show me where to go. I have even less vision than you or Josh, but he things with my better senses I’ll be able to do it. He’s been begging me to do this for months, and the story has made me believe in myself, and a OMG he setting up a time for us to go paintball in a few weeks LOL thank you! You’re a really good storyteller

You are going to have a lot of fun and do not be scared. All you need to do is hunker up and bunker down keep your ears to the air.
you can either hold his hand or just to say to guide and hold his elbow and we'll both work the same. Chances of you running or very slim the most I did was crouch and move quickly. And usually it was only in 10 ft segments.
Just try to keep cover and just pull the trigger when you hear a noise ahead of you. My friend Josh told me that one time he got somebody that was 50 yards away in a tower. All just by hearing. And I believe him.

I definitely think you should try. I do not think it was even possible and then I come out with a head shot. LOL it's amazing the things we could still do we just don't know it cuz you don't even think to try it. I know I still have peripheral vision and I can see shapes around three to four feet but I still think even if your vision was completely gone and you were playing with another hunker down he still could do everything I did.

This sounds fun! We had a place around here a few years back. I wonder if it's still operational. I have enjoyed trying to play golf, as well as disk golf! We have a nearby park with two disk golf courses, and a gear store across from it. 🙂
Well you should definitely try paintball cuz it is fun. my next goal is definitely going to be golf. I get to play for free because where I bought my house it's a colony so there's a golf course. I need to utilize it because I pay dues each and every year.
I have never played disc golf but I always wanted to. I was actually really good at frisbee when I was a kid growing up.no clue how would I would play today. I do know yesterday I tried playing horseshoes and I actually did pretty good.
I had my teammate yell from 40 feet away and guide me to the pain. I would throw the first horseshoe and then he would tell me how close it was and I would correct myself and I actually got quite a few points. Something else I did not know I could do. That sounds like a lot of fun!!! And by the way, i know a loooooot of blind golfers. They even have a blind golf tournament here in north carolina every year. 😁

When I first started becoming visually impaired I looked up Googleand asked what is the number one sport played by blind people. and I found out it was golf so I had high hopes for that. God bless and enjoy your weekend

@@LiveAccessible At least that's what Google told me. But I can't play until my friends are ready to go with me. Everybody's also busy in the warmer weather. All my friends ride motorcycles so to them at this point that is more important than golf. Eventually I will go play and I will film it. Thanks for the reply

you should follow the railings when you go up or down stairs then you’ll know when you are fully down or up
i am blind and it works for me
I usually do but sometimes I get lazy and I forgot. Especially if I'm carrying something. I tend to think I have enough vision and that everything is perfect but I find out I'm wrong at the last few steps. LOL I am a stubborn person.

Vincent Grasso My Visually Impaired Life wonderful! I just moved to a different church this weekend and had my first mass with them upon my return. I am starting to settle into my new place. There will be lots to share hopefully.
