    Wonderful video and glad to see the pros and cons series continuing, apart from places closing really early and the lack of housing, which is a bummer, it seems to be an absolutely pleasant place! Keep up with the great content and waiting for your take on university and career opportunities for prospective students!

    No night life is so boring.. I live in Auckland and here also its less night life which is difficult for someone who have lived in India and Dubai … Everything closes at 6:00.😅

      It’s not no night-life, just not as much as a big city! 😅

    Hello, myself Dr Devansh Patel (Child Specialist), recently got job offer from perth children Hospital. Want to know more about indian social life in perth.

    • @athulyanair
      @athulyanair  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Dr Devansh, Congratulations ☺️
      There are a lot of Indians I would say, so if you are extroverted and start conversations, you’ll quickly make friends, else it will take more time.
      There are some suburbs dominated by Indians, over 80% just being Indians. There are a lot of decent Indian restaurants as well. And all the major festivals are also celebrated. Depends as to what are you looking for (and Initial few months would be difficult).
      That being said, you will miss your home back in India, but eventually you’ll have friends here who you would start calling family here as well! ☺️
      I have a lot of videos where I’m just talking about this. If you are interested, you may consider watching. I’ll be making more in future as well!
      Thanks 😊

    I got an offer letter from UWA for Masters in business psychology could you please recommend some job options and the necessary skills I need to learn to get a job. Also, is it possible to pay your college fees with the salary you get or can a person pay their education loan while doing a part time job there as a student?

    • @athulyanair
      @athulyanair  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ishika,
      Congratulations on securing your seat! 🥳
      1. You’ll need to first figure out what kind of jobs are you interested to do based on your interests and your course, then once you narrow down to 3 positions, you could build the skills you require while you are studying in the college.
      2. Most students after securing a stay, start picking up part time and casual jobs to meet their regular expenses. You need to keep an open mind and pick up the jobs you feel you can do. You should be able to take care of your living expenses, and depending on your lifestyle you could try and save/pay your education loan as well. It’s pretty subjective.

      @athulyanair  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on a lot of factors, how quickly you get a job, if it pays you well enough to take care of your expenses and your tuition fees.

      Most students do part-time jobs, and I have seen them getting within few days. Have an open mind and just look for jobs when you come here, you’ll get it soon.
