He is must magnificent... and all I can think of is..... uh hum... well anyway.... he is a truly an intriguing mystery and tolklien did not supp,ly enougn info on Thranduil .. Like what happened to his mother we know his father was killed in a battle. Probably his mother and wife were as well.. but it doesnt give her a name or anything.. I am sure Tolkien did not forsee the effect his elf would have on people as he was not seeing it visually as a film... anyway maybe if we all keep saying to the right people we want a movie maybe they will do it

A somewhat pointless video considering how much the Elves hated all dragons., especially Thranduil who had been so terribly injured by a dragon in his youth.

It also could refer to the dragonborns in the game The elder scrolls V :Skyrim , there the Dragonborn, or Dovahkiin in dragon language, are dragon hunters anointed by the Gods to be able to fight on equal terms with dragons.(So again this being on equal terms with a dragon would be a fitting description for the last great elvenking of Middle Earth, and since they are hunting (!) dragons even your point that they hate them is included.😄......sorry , I know that I probably sound like an insufferable know it all, it was not meant to sound so conceited😅
