I’ve seen him about 25 times. He is the protege of Joe Satriani. I have not listened to him much, but that’s a fun fact you may or may not know. Also, Ler was first rock famous in the band Possessed. I heard Les ask him once where his assless chaps were, referring to his metal days. 😅

Larry Lalonde may be my favourite electric guitar player. So under rated imo he has his own completely unique style and sound

It really is great music, it's just eclectic and people don't get to hear it.
You should listen to some of Les Claypool's solo stuff and side projects, I recommend Purple Onion, Oysterhead and Mushroom Men
