No, quite the opposite actually, the analysis stockfish is weaker than the one currently playing and can’t understand the depth of the moves that’s currently being played by it’s stronger older brother. Give it a bit of time to think and analyze and it’ll realize the moves that are being played are the best moves..

They wouldn't be able to comprehend the moves. After all, even modern GMs like Hikaru and Magnus are puzzled by top engine play. Older GMs would be completely lost, regardless of how talented they were.

I highly doubt it would be just "some moves" that would trouble them.

Computers have no concept of the value of pieces. They only care about piece activity and tactics. In this position, the computers actually determined that the bishop is worth more than the rook since if black took the rook, white's bishop would recapture and be staring down on the black king from afar.
Probably because black bishop is a super powerful defensive and offensive piece occupying that big diagonal, so Komodo doesn't want to loose it (even if it's for a rook). And also because Komodo probably predicts that it will be a closed position where rooks are a bit useless

Computers value the space and control that a bishop gives, that’s also why SF took with rook, a knight and bishop is actually vastly more valuable then a rook even though they seem like they are close to equal material wise. SF mad a lot of moves that look questionable at first glance but nice you start looking deeper they make sense
Rook attacks 2 squares in front of it, bishop is a monster controlling the entire board. You need to learn to evaluate pieces and positions not just memorize their "value"

Because, for computers, rooks are useless. Bishop is more important because he protects king.
Because black squares and king side were weak and white's bishop were more threatful at that diagonal.
Computers value the space and control that a bishop gives, that’s also why SF took with rook, a knight and bishop is actually vastly more valuable then a rook even though they seem like they are close to equal material wise. SF mad a lot of moves that look questionable at first glance but nice you start looking deeper they make sense

Rook attacks 2 squares in front of it, bishop is a monster controlling the entire board. You need to learn to evaluate pieces and positions not just memorize their "value"

Because stockfish player and stockfish analis are two diffrent versions. Player is better

@@NaN-noCZ Better versions of engine count more moves. Sometimes it doesn't change anything, but sometimes there is a reason why one move is better than another. If you want you can read about it. Google: how many moves stockfish counts. I tried to put link, but TH-cam is not allowing.
@@NaN-noCZ simply because the analysis is done by your own machine processing but stockfish playing is being processed on a supercomputer.
I remember how Komodo 8 was the first program where I was surprised how aggressively it pushes pawns at every opportunity. Now they all do it…
