I imagine Akechi's Palace as a theater. He' s the star of the show and everyone loves him, but as soon as he steps off stage everyone treats him horribly. No one cares about him unless he plays his part perfectly. As long as he does that, he's the hero.

That was already done for joker. I'd imagine as an old news cast place, desperately trying to look good while being rotten to the core on the inside. Some areas are good and done well, others are a living hell just to breath in.

I feel like the shadows of his palace would openly love him, cheering for Akechi's success and idolizing him, but when Akechi isn't around, they all talk about how much they despise the guy, calling him desperate for some sort of affection. Ridiculing him behind his back, the shadows would be as two-faced as he is.

Due to how long it was without therapy id see his pales as higley distorted you start at a theater to a curcus to a courtroom all with a theme of despair and deception the theaters
play portion is showy and lively but backstage is gloomy and leathel even
The curcus is his relatonships how he forced himself to the wildcard (you can get his persona in this secton) you have to solve puzzles to show what akechi thinks as there true motive
The court is the place you face his shadow as a prosecutor the shadow of you is at akechi's defense

The funny thing is, there IS some shadow dialogue in the files saying stuff about "Lord Akechi" or "Akechi-sama", which implies he may have originally been planned to have a palace.
If we use additional sins (borrowing from the Divine Comedy), Akechi's sin would obviously be Treachery. He plans on betraying Shido, betraying the Phantom Thieves, betraying everything and everyone to ensure Japan falls and everything suffers.
His palace might be a fun place to consider where he considers his own place. Maybe it's the Police HQ, due to how much time he spends there. As for what he sees it as, maybe it's "Hell". Think about it, he goes through so much for his own image because he wants to be loved. Instead, his life has been a living hell, which must've only increased when he realized that he didn't necessarily have to kill all those people to fulfill his goals.
His palace would start out using the Gates of Hell by Auguste Rodin, with depictions of Akechi as the Devil. There is a bare minimum of 9 floors, each floor detailing some sin or person Akechi was aware of and allowed to persist, but because of his own corrupted justice, he let them persist anyhow. At the same time, it could also represent each member of the Phantom Thieves and why he likes them too. The entire place would have a feeling of opulence and grandeur at first, but the lower one goes, the more twisted, haunting and despairing it becomes.
The very last floor is where Akechi's Shadow would be at, which would be a cold and dark area. Frozen waist deep in ice, looking like an utter monster. He eternally cries, only flooding the place even more and freezing him further. This would be a reference to Lucifer in the Divine Comedy, how he's stuck in ice, mindlessly flapping his wings because he wants to return to heaven, but instead it only intensifies the cold winds and traps him even further. This would represent how Akechi does want to be with the Phantom Thieves, but is kept from doing that by his own actions contradicting his desires.

    I imagine this:
Right at the start of Sae's Palace, Akira and Morgana ask Futaba to bug Akechi's phone. They find out pretty quickly that Akechi is the Black Mask, right? But---hear me out---if the phone was bugged the whole time...what else did they hear?
They heard the way he quietly swore when he was given new targets, especially when they were women, because every one reminds him of Wakaba---and of his own mother. They heard the way he kept his voice even when he talked to Shido, then sighed in relief once Shido hung up. They heard him rehearsing for media appearances, then muttering to himself about how he had to act for just a little bit longer, and soon he could reveal his true self. They heard him talking to himself, trying to figure out a way to kill Akira and still have the Thieves change Sae's heart, because Sae is the only adult he really trusts. They heard him quietly sobbing after each kill, repeating over and over that it was necessary, that he needed to do it, that he needed to make sure Shido relied on him.
They heard it all. And Akira decides that he has to do something about it.
It's a weekend. He has Morgana stay with Futaba for the day. He doesn't say anything to the rest of the Thieves. He goes to Shibuya---that seems as good a place to start as any. He takes out the nav and says, "Goro Akechi."
    It's a hit.
It takes some time for Akira to figure out the rest of the keywords---but he knows Akechi best, and this is something he needs to do. He tries a few different locations, including the TV station and the jazz club. Eventually he lands on "Tokyo"---because it's not just Akechi's desires that are distorted, it's his entire worldview. This sets off all kinds of warning bells, and Akira realizes that he probably shouldn't have come alone, but he's too far now to turn back, and somehow he doesn't think the other Thieves will want to help him on this particular infiltration. And as for how Akechi perceives Tokyo---a "theater", because he is constantly acting, constantly putting on a show for others.
Akira's thief outfit doesn't appear immediately. He finds himself in a crowd of Shadows, but they ignore him---they're focused on a grand stage in the center of what vaguely resembles the Shibuya Station Square. Akria presses through the crowd until he can see the stage. On the stage is none other than the Shadow of Goro Akechi, in his Crow outfit. Akechi makes eye contact with Akira but doesn't say anything, continuing to act for the crowd. Eventually the curtain begins to lower, and Akechi waves for Akira to come backstage. Akira slips through the Shadows and heads backstage, where Akechi's Shadow waits calmly for him.
    "So you've come," Akechi says.
Akira doesn't answer. He's not sure what to say.
"Are you here to change my heart?" Akechi continues, red eyes gleaming. Then he smirks. "Or are you here to kill me? If you are, I won't be surprised, you know."
    "We don't kill," Akira says.
"Really? You won't make an exception for me, considering what I did to Wakaba Isshiki and Kunikazu Okumura? I'm sure Futaba and Haru would love to see their parents avenged---"
"None of us want you dead. Not even Futaba and Haru."
"What if I want me dead?"
"I won't let you die, Akechi," Akira says. "That's not why I'm here."
"You can't save those who don't want to be saved," Akechi says.
"I want to help you. But you have to let me."
Suddenly he's wearing his thief outfit. Akechi sees him as a threat now. Akira wishes he didn't.
Akechi smiles again, but this time it's much sadder. "You can't save me, Kurusu. I am already too far gone."
"You're not too far gone! I can help you," Akira says desperately. "I can save you, I can---"
    But Akechi just disappears.
Akira returns to the real world and calls Akechi. He answers fairly quickly.
    "Yes?"
"Hey, are you okay?" Akira asks.
A pause. Then Akechi says, sounding just the slightest bit tense, "I'm fine. Why do you ask? Is something the matter?"
"It's nothing," Akira says. "Sorry to bother you."
    He hangs up.
The next day, after school, he sends Morgana home with Haru. He enters Akechi's Palace alone. He infiltrates the entire Palace alone, because he knows Akechi better than anyone else, and he knows his team wouldn't necessarily approve. He gets pretty far in, too. Beneath the stage is a labyrinth. Akira hits several doors with unbelievably intricate locks, but using what he knows of Akechi's past and what he's picked up from Futaba's surveillance of his phone, he's able to figure out the codes pretty easily---one is the date his mother died; one is Futaba's name; one is the date he plans to kill Akira; one is his mother's name, Chiyo Akechi, which Futaba found in his records; one is just the word "justice"; so on and so forth.
He makes it all the way to where he thinks the Treasure might be---he doesn't have navigation abilities, so he doesn't know for sure, but it's the center of the labyrinth, and it's the best-guarded place so far. It's a sort of cage, almost, and he thinks he can see the Treasure in the center of it---but he realizes that the cage can only be opened from the inside. Shadow Akechi appears in the cage, but this time he's crying. When he notices Akira, he doesn't do anything.
    "I came back," Akira says.
"You shouldn't have," Akechi answers. "I've already told you, I'm beyond repair."
    "Nobody is behind repair."
Akechi doesn't answer. Eventually Akira says, "Why are you crying?"
"I had to kill someone else today," Akechi tells him. "A woman. She---she was a mother."
After a brief silence, Akira says, "Let me in."
    "No."
"I have to help you," he insists. "This cage of yours---it only opens from the inside. Please, Akechi, just let me in."
Akechi keeps resisting, but Akira keeps trying. Eventually Akechi sighs and walks over to the cage door.
"Defeat him first, and I will let you in," Akechi says.
    "Defeat who? Shido?"
"No. Defeat the one you call Crow. If you truly want to save us, he has to let you in," Akechi says. "He has to show you our true form. Our other self."
Akira hesitates, then says, "So if I defeat the real Akechi, you'll let me change your heart?"
    "Yes."
    Akira nods.
He still doesn't tell the other Thieves. This is personal for him. He calls Akechi the next day, and they meet up that afternoon (Morgana is with Ann this time). Akira challenges Akechi to a duel in Mementos. When Akechi asks why, Akira just tells him to fight with everything he has. At first, Akechi only uses Robin Hood, because he thinks his plan is still intact. But after Akira defeats Akechi the first time, he reveals that he knows about Akechi's plans. Akechi, furious at Akira's attempts to negotiate with him, sets loose Loki, and in doing so reveals the "true form" his Shadow had mentioned previously. Akira barely manages to knock Akechi down a second time, then hands him a calling card---a short, handwritten note that he came up with the night before. Akira returns to the Palace immediately and runs up to the cage. Shadow Akechi smiles and unlocks it. Before Akira can enter, though, he hears a voice.
    "So this is my heart."
He turns. It's the real Akechi. He followed Akira into the Palace and is looking around with detached interest.
"You're really going to change my heart, huh?" Akechi says. He's still in his Black Mask outfit.
"I'm going to save you," Akira says.
Akechi pulls out his ray gun---but instead of aiming it at Akira, he aims it at his own Shadow, who freezes.
"No," Akira says, and he steps in front of the Shadow.
"It'll be simple and painless," Akechi says. "We'll die together. The world will be a better place without us."
It's so different from how he acts in the real world that for a moment Akira wonders whether this is actually the Shadow, and he's actually standing in front of the real Akechi.
    "I'm sorry," Akira says.
Without further warning, he unleashes his Personas on Akechi. Caught completely off guard, Akechi is slammed backwards. Akira runs into the cage and snatches the materialized Treasure---a holy sword with the word "justice" engraved just above the hilt---and physically knocks the real Akechi unconscious. He then leaves the Palace, carrying Akechi over his shoulder and holding the Treasure in his other hand. He returns to the real world and carries the still-unconscious Akechi back to Leblanc, where the rest of the Thieves were spending the evening studying. Akira promises to explain everything later as long as they promise not to be too harsh on Akechi.
Akechi wakes up the next morning with a changed heart and the rest of the Phantom Thieves waiting for him. The Treasure turns out to be his saber---which was his last gift from his mother.

A masquerade is very fitting. With orchestral music and a theatre house displaying his tragic story. And for what i imagine for his boss fight is that his final form will be having to suck in all his adoring fans and supporters, empowering him, and claiming their masks as his own, symbolizing he either has all personas or he has lost sight his true self.

I would love for the Boss of the palace (Akechi) and Joker to just have a 1 on 1 fight as it is *their* fight. The Justice of Akira vs the Justice of Akechi. And towards the end (Akira wins) they both talk it out and Akira accepts Akechi, and he finally gets the recognition, the acceptance he’s been longing for. The rest of the PT accept him as well and his view of seeing the Phantom Thieves as his home comes to reality as they have now become his true family. And towards the end of the game in the fight against Shido Akechi and Akira get their vengeance, Akechi’s murder attempt had to be controlled, and things play out as they do, with the whole palace escape, Shido confession, and when it goes to Akira having to turn himself in, he does, after he visits whoever he romanced, and when the rest of the Thieves find out, it’s Akechi who though of a plan to help Akira, and his plan was to turn himself in. Akira is freed and as happy as the Thieves are, they are saddened to know that Akechi is now in jail. At this point is now Sae’s turn to help again and proposes she gathers evidence to show that it was Shido who (whatever word it is) to kill the ones Akechi did. This helps Akechi’s sentence to shorten and when the time is up he regroups with the rest of his new family and they throw a party for him, showing that they really accept him.
Just my little though process though it may have a few holes

I’d imagine Akechi having the sin of greed AND wrath. I’d imagine his Palace would be the entire world and the main difference is that the news talks about the Phantom Thieves and shows the cutscene where you reveal the calling card for Shido, but Akechi's in the centre instead of Joker. In fact, Joker isn’t anywhere in the video. It also seemed that the rest of the thieves acted differently around Akechi. They treated him respectfully, like as if he was their boss. Morgana stated after we battled Akechi in the original game that "Your power is like Joker's.", as in he also had the potential to become a wild card user, but he was weak as he denied forging bonds with others. But in this world, Akechi is the Wild Card user. Akechi is the leader of the Phantom Thieves. Akechi is the hero of his own story and the "trash of society", also known as the Phantom Thieves, are essentially his personal group of mercenaries.
When you meet Akechi's shadow, he acts calm and composed, like usual, but with a hint of disdain for those around him. As the battle begins, he lets his own group do the fighting for him, meaning you face off against shadow versions of your party members first. However, they’re really weak for the standard you'd be used to. They only have light-damaging attacks and go down in a couple of hits, regardless of resistances. While this may seem terrible and a fight against your party members should’ve been more intense, and you’re right. But, they aren’t YOUR party members. They’re AKECHI'S party members. They don’t have the bonds with Akechi that your group has with you. Of course they'd be weak (and of course Akechi would want to be the one to save the day at the last minute). Then when the fight with Akechi starts, things get INTENSE. Not only does he have the Wild Card, allowing him to change affinities, but he has strengthened versions of his group's personas, meaning all he needed was himself. Now he starts to show the sin of wrath. As you whittle him down, his composure breaks but by bit until he summons Loki and goes psychotic. After all, he can't lose to you. HE'S the celebrity. HE'S the hero of this world. But, of course, his ego gets the better of him, and he falls.

Slight nickpick but it's eat not ate. Ate is used to refer to oneself in the past tense much like how eat is future in the sense of "You are going to eat too many pancakes." Eat can also be used in present tense in the case of you telling him to eat the pancakes. If it's Akechis view then it's "I'M EATING TOO MANY PANCAKES AND I WON'T STOP!". So it should be "Did you eat too many pancakes?". Although in certain cases you can use ate but then the question would be worded differently. It would be worded as "You ate too many pancakes didn't you?". Eaten can also be used but again the wording would be different in where it's more along the lines of "AKECHI YOU'VE EATEN TOO MANY PANCAKES!". I'd say I hate to be the guy that fixes grammatical errors but I love the job.

Akechi would have an awesome palace!
    Here's my take:
    HUGE spoilers, btw
First, the palace would be based around his secret-coarse and spiteful side, and the side of him that's been forced into torment by others. Given that Shido had a boat, I thought it natural for Akechi to have a sunken Ship, with a theatre inside, representing how, as he shines, he shine brightly, but the moment he leaves the spotlight he's abused into an "ocean" of expectations to be met.
His palace would take place **straight** after Shido's, with it being introduced very quickly. In the event of his Shido-palace self killing the real him, it would be revealed that he surrendered and swore loyalty to Shido, but, once his Change of Heart takes place and his palace is destroyed, Akechi barely makes it out alive and doesn't know what to do with himself, but he blames the Phantom Thieves for what happened, and he swears to try to get the public opinion on his side, doing whatever it takes to frame the Phantom Thieves and reveal their secret identities in a subtle way.
His palace, being a Sunken Boat for the most part, will be in the Main Character's room, based off of how he relies on information around the Phantoms to survive in the public eye. The Distortion word would be "Manipulation" and the place name would be "Theatre", as it would only be revealed half-way into the palace that it is revealed to be a sunken-cruise.
The Main Gimmick of the Palace would be interactions between Akechi and the Party, with his Shadow sometimes just coming out of no-where and attacking them, resulting in various smaller fights with Akechi to take place, however, every time he does this, his Shadow changes. Originally, it would look like his normal Phantom Thief outfit, but with a hugely long cape, and him wearing a crown, and probably holding a cane with a Diamond at the end. However, every time he fights you, he steals the mask that one of the Thieves is wearing, sucking the soul out of their Persona, turning the mask white and black. Whenever he does this, the mask joins a floating ring-formation of the masks floating around him, and he sometimes pulls one of the masks out to attack with it, such as using Ann's mask to use a fire-based attack.
By the end of the Palace, the only two Party members you can use are Joker and Morganna, and, after fighting to the mast of the boat to get the treasure, you find yourself in the main Theatre stage, inside the boat, which is rundown, wet and decaying, with the staircase to get up to the mast mere moments away, before a set of curtains swoops all around you and you're taken into a different, much, much more glamorous stage. There's an audience yelling, and throwing roses onto the stage, of which you are in the middle of. Then, from a moving platform that comes down from the ceiling, Akechi appears, swooping past the audience and he starts a speech about how the world is a stage for him, and whilst that may be rough, he still has to make it exciting, claiming "The Show Must go on as long as I do". Most of the Phantom Thieves, with their powers and costumes taken from them, hopelessly yell at Akechi, claiming that his life doesn't have to be so extreme and he doesn't have to pressure himself any longer, but as he steps onto the stage, he instantly disregards this, and uses the diamond at the top of his cane to push them all back. He shoves past Joker and Mona, and starts yelling to the audience, claiming, with a tear in his eye, that so long as the audience loves him, he can love himself. The fight begins, and you are forced into using only Joker and Mona, obviously, and the masks he stole from you gather round him, however, this time, he doesn't use them to fight, rather, he puts on each of their masks and becomes a Shadow versions of each of them throughout the fight, with Kamoshida's version of Ann, Ryuji, but in a wheelchair, and using a loud voice to shout at Joker to attack, Makoto, but she's very long and has an over-sized Gavel in her hand, Futaba's shadow, cruelly reminding her of what she was, Yusuke, but he's stuck on a canvas, like Madarame, and is forced to painfully stretch out of the painting to attack, and Haru, but she's entirely made of Shadow, using not an axe or gun, but a sort of shadow-bazooka to attack. Each time you defeat one of the Shadow party members, you gain them back and they can fight, each time it gives you the option to change your party, just in case you don't have the thing that lets you switch them out in battle.
Once the final mask is returned, Akechi turns himself back to normal and the audience boos him, and he collapses on the floor in a crying fit. Joker points he gun at Akechi, threateningly, but he just slowly looks up and pushes Joker back with the cane. He is then lifted into the air, in the middle of the stage by strings, with several other "actor" shadows holding his cape as he goes up, so it spreads across the entire stage. After that, the real fight begins, with his attacks being essentially different laments, doing different things. Such as a "Regretful Lament", which will put all party members into despair if you don't stop him by dealing enough damage, and a "Soulless Lament", temporarily rendering a party member useless by removing their mask, which you have to quickly destroy as it floats in the air, otherwise it heals Akechi, amoung others.
Once the fight is over, the Audience boos, and you see what it's like in Akechi's perspective, with all noises muffled out apart from the booing, and then he screams, instantly killing all of the Audience shadows and breaking down the boat, with leaks coming in through the walls. He says that, if they want his treasure, they can take it and points towards the stairs. The last you see of Shadow Akechi is him lying on the floor with a torn-up costume, defeated before water engulfs him and Debris block the stairs you just went up. The palace end with the collection of the treasure, which happens to be his cane, with the real world version being the gun he used to kill Joker, but broken and with no ammo. The real world Akechi then, of course, has his change of heart, and promises never to harm the Phantom Thieves again. He spends the rest of the game fighting against the hate towards the Phantoms that he had originally, for the most part, made and, at the very end, helping with Joker's case to get him out of jail.

If Akechi had a palace, you probably wouldn't fight a Shadow, but an Akechi being possessed by Loki.
Essentially upon exploring the palace, the thieves notice that Akechi is acting extremely weird, even more so than how he was when they discovered his true colors. Upon learning Akechi has a treasure they attempt to steal it, only to find out that Loki was able to take full control of him using Akechi's rage and hatred. The thieves are able to defeat Loki, but Akechi is unable to retake control, and the thieves make various attempts to snap him out of it. At first it appears nothing is happening and releases an ultimate attack that knocks the thieves down. Loki celebrates his victory and bids the Phantom Thieves a final farewell before readying up another ultimate attack. However, just before its about to hit, Robin Hood comes out of nowhere and defends the thieves, and soon Akechi can be heard talking, saying how he now regrets the actions he has caused because of Loki's influence, but refuses to let Loki remain in control, and declares he'll make things right, starting by saving the Phantom Thieves. At this point, Akechi's social link would max out, and Robin Hood would evolve into his ultimate form attack Loki and a fight ensues. A second phase to the fight would begin here. Afterwards, once Loki is defeated, he vanishes and Akechi returns to normal. He apologizes and says he will turn himself in when Shido is unmasked as the monster that he is.

He was able to defeat the phantom thieves in last clash where he fought joker alone and defeated him with ease. Than he continued with his plan to get revenge on shido ans EVERYTHING worked out. Now how does this affect the World?
The people pause akechi as their Saviour who saved them from a dark future where monsters ruled with the Power if changing hearts. The only real threat is he vigilante black mask who kills the rotten criminals. Akechi essentially owns both sides of the fight for justice. Because of that the entire town holds daily speeches about his bravery, in cinemas they show movies about him and his story... even the politics are pretty much his.
Now we get to the most prominent people. First shido: he is ashamed by what he did to goro on the outside but really he is just afraid of the publics reaction if he just continues to despise goro. So he plays the caring father and gives akechi everything he wants so he would keep his place at the top of the politic world Akechi gave him.
Now to the biggest question what about the phantom thieves?
The group minus akira is still alive. But akechi has turned them into his friends. Using Loki he turned them psychotic and messed with their minds. This represents how he wanted to take Jokers place in their group and how he is jealous of him having things he doesn't have... true friends. He even takes over the Job of team leader and the New group is legally authorized to cause change of hearts. The difference her being that the thieves except for akechi are all very weak and constantly have to be safe by akechi, a sign of Akechis superiority over the thieves.
But here is the thing...akechi knows that these people will never truly accept him in their ranks, which you can see if you take a closer look on his cognitive Versions of them. On the outside they are acting around akechi like they would do with akira (plus a bit of fanboyism) but you can see in their eyes of they are afraid of akechi. Inside they are still the same and miss their real leader
Akechis mansion and main point of infiltration lies on the same place where leblanc stands in the real world. He had build it after sojiro gave him the rights to the place in his Testament after he had an 'accident' and he promised to take care of futaba (who actually knows what akechi really is and who is responsible for sojiros death but cant fight against it because her body won't listen to her.
Now to Akira. He arguably has the most impact on this palace. First of his identity was revealed and his very name is an Insult. His family was executed on the accusation of helping him and everywhere are statues of akechi standing over a defeated joker. And the Craziest thing... He is still alive. He resides in the dungeon of Akechis mansion, chained and akechi visits him daily. Because even tough he hates him... goro still as a lot of respect for what might be his one TRUE rival.
His treasure is probably something he always carries around, his weapon maybe and you have to defeat him in order to gain it. In reality I could be something very simple... maybe maybe gift his mother gave to him.

Akechi was originally going to have a Palace. I can't remember exactly when in the story, but I think it was somewhere in between Sae's and Shido's Palaces. I've seen some hidden dialogue videos about it, specifically shadow discussions that call Akechi Lord Akechi or King Akechi and describe his Palace as a castle. I think you nailed that theme on the head with this track, an extravagant castle that he is meant to own that holds a lonely and despairing king who feels nothing but isolation and rejection.
I think his treasure would be a crown, like with Kamoshida, but instead of seeing the crown as something he deserves as a reward, I think Akechi sees it as his only way to be accepted, to be loved. And once the crown is in the real world, it turns into a Featherman mask.

I would say this was a very successful stacking of orchestral elements, even "without any formal training or comprehensive self-studying" (as per your words)!
Personally, I associate orchestral music with a certain sense of drama and suspense. And Akechi carries a lot of both inside him.
In my opinion, this kind of music fits him wonderfully, and also the widely accepted idea that his palace might be something like a theatre.
Many kudos to you for making this, and thank you for sharing!
It's a great and fitting piece. And it made me cry a bit; there are many emotions here and I feel and understand all of them.
Especially the part starting at 2:30. The piano tunes hit me painfully in the heart. (Pianos and violins truly are murder instruments...)
I really like the palace ruler image for him, too! A perfect depiction.
The tears look a little like the outline of his face, which potentially could make some people overlook them or only realize later that they're there.
Even without his charming mask, there's still much more underneath that handsome face than meets the eye.
I can't understand how there are people who seriously think that Akechi is a badly written, flat character. He's anything but.

I'd imagine shadow Akechi as a giant puppet on strings. The palace would be a theater, as another commenter said. He would be on stage, dancing around swinging his knife elegantly. The strings themselves are sentient, however, and react to failure, representing Shido and all of Akechi's fans. If you defeat him, the strings catch on fire intentionally. He is destroyed by the very thing that controlled him. If he beats you, he accomplishes his task, and then the middle string (representing Shido) sets itself on fire, and lights the other ones with it, representing Shido planning to dispose of Akechi as soon as he needs to. To truly win the fight, you must fight the strings, destroying them. Upon doing so, he has nothing controlling him, and goes psychotic as he did in the actual fight against him in Shido's palace. As soon as he doesn't have to worry about what others will do to him, he goes crazy on you. Only then can you fight him without risking his life. I can't think of what his treasure would be, either in the cognitive world or the real one, however.

love how the real face has a tears aspect, showing his sadness and broken past.
I expected him to get a palace in P5R, just because of his mysterious ending, though of course the one we got was awesome.
His palace would be logical to exist, since Shido treated him so poorly and him wanting to just be seen could have easily made dark desires form and thus a palace.
His palace would probably be court/theater themed where he's seen as the star actor, never doing anything wrong. (I don't really know where it would originate, maybe the courthouse or his own house.) This would reflect in the first part of the palace looking all white and gold, showing his purity. But once you go deeper, much like his past, everything starts going darker with red, crimson and Black motives getting added with the gold staying.
I imagine his dungeon being 'The Theater of Treachery', due to him betraying everyone at the end and not being able to keep these bonds. His boss might work a bit like Sae and Maruki I Imagine, with him acting like he plays fair but using his 2 persona's (Robin Hood and Loki) as ways to cheat and use backhanded tactics, something a lot of people in his work-scene use. He could use Loki's skill to make either your fellow thieves or shadows he summons go insane, having them target either your friends with their strongest attacks while Akechi is guarded by the shadows. His outfit would have it be a fusion of his Robin Hood and Loki looks, being half heroic and white/gold with the other part being villainous and black.
I also think his shadow self could start like Futaba, trying to help the Phantom Thieves but ultimately lead them into many traps until they don't believe him anymore.

Akechi's palace was probably scrapped from the vanilla game because the script-writers thought that this clashed against him having a persona. But they clearly changed their mind in P5R with Maruki. They should've added his palace back as well.
I believe his palace would've been the Theatre of Rage (if pride can have two forms, I don't see why wrath can't). Created by his vengeance towards his father, Shido, the treasure would be his mother's necklace. The last thing he remembers her by.

People who hate him say that they do because of what akechi does to the phantom thieves but who the fuck wouldnt go absolutely insane if he/she didnt have absolutely any friends or family members at his/her side? he did what he did because he was just a frustrated inividual looking for attention to feel important or loved by other people. So what I’d imagine this palace to be is like some mythical strange land that’s bigger than any other palace than before.
Once the Phantom Thieves get in, they all look around to see how gigantic it looks (after a cutscene of a camera view of the whole thing), then Ryuji complains about how challenging it would be to find the treasure there. Yusuke would then comment on how beautiful the land is, and Ann would question why it would look like that. Morgana would explain Akechi’s desire of being the true hero. The terrain would possibly be a floating island or two that has a village surrounded by a bit of forest. (Not entirely sure what the keywords would be in order to do this).
As the Phantom Thieves get around the village, they spot cognitions of the people of Japan living their lives. Doesn’t sound strange at all, right? Well as the group heads over to talk to a person, the only dialogue they get is a person talking about Akechi as the “Hero of Justice” and how he’d save them all. Then as you proceeded along, you’d find another cognition talking about how Akechi punished those who deserve it. With a little more dialogue this time, you could find out that the ones who got their punishments were you guessed it... The Phantom Thieves.
“Bulls***!” Something Ryuji would obviously comment on, but the rest of the Phantom Thieves know better and decide to ignore the rest of the cognitions. After realizing that it’d be impossible to get to Akechi without getting lost; the Phantom Thieves act like tourists, asking how to get to Akechi’s main palace. After a while of dealing with the ignorant villagers, they finally find a good source from someone who’s been to the Palace Gardens. Being instructed to go up the main road and towards the giant bridge, the Phantom Thieves head towards the directions they were given. (The progress of getting directions needed Joker to be a good negotiator) When they reached the bridge, enemy royal guards spawn and the group has to take them out one by one.
Sneaking into the palace would be the hardest task. They would need to get into the palace without using the front doors. However, based on the structure of the palace, they would need to sneak around, and scale walls; only to end up in the dungeons where it's dark and unsettling. You as Joker, along with the whole team would need to sneak around when a certain sight would make you stop.
The cognitions of the Phantom Thieves in cells would be rotting and begging for Justice, all wearing prison clothes, masks (to hide their faces), and shackles around their wrists and ankles. The Thieves would then realize how really dark Akechi’s heart trly was. The outside was all beautiful and fit for a true ruler of Justice, while inside the castle was dark and depressing as you would travel down each level. Eventually, as they get out of the dungeons, Akechi and a guard confront them. Then after the brief cutscene of the Thieves confronting Akechi's shadow, the guard turns into what Akechi believes is a true God.
This God would be weak to bless attacks as it’s a “God of Darkness”, meaning its main attack skill is curse. Defeating it would grant you a key and a map of the first few floors. Now Akechi’s gone, and the security of the palace is on the hunt for you, the task at hand is to get to the safe room.
    TBC....

    • @aurelia_arizona7579
      @aurelia_arizona7579 5 ปีที่แล้ว +15

From there, you travel the palace as normal, avoiding royal guards and taking them out as you go. There are puzzles that you as Joker and the team must complete in order to push onwards deeper into the palace. The more you go on, the more you see inside his heart. The true darkness is taking over Akechi with a little bit of light to reference the past he's left behind. The days when Shido wasn't using him as his lap dog. The three mini-bosses that you must fight are almost like the Archangels in the final palace. They are all weak to Bless skills, the opposite of Akechi's Robbin hood persona. If *Spoilers* the boss fight between the phantom thieves and him didn't happen. You would have to change his heart in two weeks before he realized that he failed to kill Joker.
The Deadline would be *__Days Before The End of The World* or something similar, as Akechi really does have the ability to wipe out those who would even oppress him.
Once you finally traverse your way through the mazes of corridors, the two maps you collect when you figured out the puzzles would lead you into an empty ballroom where in the middle would be a statue. Akechi's statue with a faint glowing cloud in his stone hands. The team has found the treasure and are ready to infiltrate Akechi's heart.
The calling card has been sent, and Akechi would react as though any of the former palace owners would react. Mad, desperate, and as a bonus; shocked that the man he thought he killed was alive.
His Boss Battle starts out as how you confront him in the yacht. Much like Shido's battle. He would have multiple forms. His regular first phase, and then the black mask phase, and then the phase where he turns into a dark dreary version of what he believes a "True Hero of Justice" would be. He would try and act as a God or a King, controlling his own masses. His faithful followers would buff him and debuff you. Unlike the other mini-bosses, they are weak to curse skills, as they still see Akechi as their hero and they believe that they are doing the right thing; that they're innocent civilians serving their king, which they are.
Akechi would have the skills of bless, curse, almighty, and desperation, but at a level that could wipe out your whole party if you are not prepared.
In the end, after you finally beat him - He'll be desperate not to give up, he wants to be accepted into society so he would do anything to earn the respect he believes is overdue. But Joker and the others talk to him, they try to help him see what he's doing is wrong. And that his heart is corrupted because of what Shido has forced him to do. They have one last successful civilization conversation - where the thieves find a way to make him discover the last shred of light inside of him. Akechi then finally accepts the truth of what he's doing, that it was wrong, and he surrenders his treasure to them; *His former black mask.*
The palace starts to crumble, and the thieves panic, seeing as they are way too deep in the palace to find their way back out. But Akechi's shadow shows them an emergency exit from his palace nearby. His last act of kindness, completing his confidant.
In the end, his real-world palace treasure would be his personal diary of his past thoughts and feeling, locked away without a key to signify that his feelings were hidden behind a real-world mask.
Phew! Sorry that it's so much writing, and that it legit took a year to complete this! Hope you enjoy pt. 2!

      Okay here we go...
Akechis Palace is a different one to say the least. First of... it is almost a exact copy of the real Tokyo because of his perceiptive mind. Every single thing is nearly identical to the real world. Safe for one big difference...
      He has won.
He was able to defeat the phantom thieves in last clash where he fought joker alone and defeated him with ease. Than he continued with his plan to get revenge on shido ans EVERYTHING worked out. Now how does this affect the World?

I dunno I feel the theme would start more grandiose and cheerful but as you reach the treasure it becomes darker and more metal showing the difference with Robin Hood and his true persona Loki

To everybody saying this is like a boss theme, what about shidos palace theme ( ark) it honestly is a great boss and palace theme to me and this song is no different I think it'd fit both in my opinion

I imagine he is on a warship. A giant one. And he is battling you with both of you standing on platforms and the way you defeat him is to deal enough damage to make him fall off the ship.

Since shido’s palace is a large ship, then Akechi’s palace would be an aquatic science lab/castle, Referring to the quote, “ the sea can make a ship sail or make it sink.” So shadow Akechi might think he is the key to make Shido fall ( Make his ship sink ), so Shadow Akechi might be a SIREN that can make the people believe that his is a charming, rightful detective prince of justice, then silently murder or break some of the citizens with the order of Shido(the pirate in Akechi’s point of view) . Just like how the sirens sing to distract the sailors with their angelic voice and eat them alive while the pirate takes the treasure and power.
But after the moment when cognitive Akechi told the real one the truth of how Shido think of him as a puppet, but not a pirate who relies on the siren to get what he wants. Akechi’s palace started to collapse, he finally realise that he isn’t the key or anything, he is just a puppet that blindly serves someone that doesn’t love him as his son, the only person he was connected to in his whole life.
For the whole life Akechi was trying to impress the strangers beside him, he used all of his strength to make someone notice him, even the price of destruction of other’s family, to gain that little bit of LOVE. And yet the last hope of him was destroyed, lost of freedom, status, and despair of loneliness are the only ones that are waiting for him.
So the little lost siren decided to hide from the whole world, and remain silent in the deepest depths of the sea. Sobbing alone in the darkness. Quietly waiting his death... 🤕😭😢
(Please forgive me for doing this to the precious pancake boy 😭😭😭)If you like my theory of Akechi’s palace. Please give a thumbs up 👍 from below.
Thank you very much for reading this.🥰☺️

Unlike the other Phantom Thieves losing their Personas with their own Palaces, I think Akechi would, like Maruki, be his own Shadow/work with Shadow Akechi, viewing himself as the best, but for a sort of price.
But thats kinda just me daydreaming, lol

    Dear Goro Akechi
You have committed the heinous sin of Treachery, betraying your once noble comrades the entire time. We will not stand for this transgression and will take your heart, not only for the sake of retribution but also for your own sake.
    Regards, The Phantom Thieves

Might as well throw my having the ring with the ideas everyone has had for his palace so far
I imagine it'd be a huge theatre, like almost the size of am opera house, with all of the people inside being masked or monsters, but much like in past palaces we've seen....he's Not really a ruler of his own, rather the main act in the different performances as each seems to an a cynical commentary on how he views what happened to him, like with the young child being thrown around foster homes and orphanages by uncaring monsters hiding behind masks of caring parental figures...
All of these acts portray him not in a good light but that of a puppet or a fool, even to the point his shadow is wearing an exaggerated almost medieval jesters outfit....
When you fight him you try to get through the fact that not everyone is evil, you've just got to be able to tell who's who and not fuel the fires yourself....But to no avail, his powers however are all that is his own and he believes in so his powers are somehow stronger here than in reality, until he begins to lose and gets heckled by the shadowy monsters in the audience and he starts to slip up more and more under the pressure, becoming easier to beat as the battle progresses rather than harder...
*his source of distortion is a cracked photo of his family...*

i keep coming back to this masterpiece and i always think how akechi deserved his own boss theme, if not a palace
i adore how ominously piercing the notes are, before finally kicking into high gear with the drop
it honestly reminds me most of the classic Kubrick stare, akechi descends further and further and he distances himself from any semblance of humannity, including emotions, in his desperate attempt to prove himself as victor

hot take: akechi's palace is a circus. He is the ringmaster, both the main attraction and a freak controlling and despising other freaks. the numbers he presents are deadly, and the audience both claps pleasingly at him and shames him

Maybe a cognition combined with a shadow?

I think an opera house would be so good, and he's the maestro.
He's making a show for all the word and the musicians are the people shido comands(inclusive shido hinself).
