I'm pretty sure that what "They think they're right" actually meant is "every passing thought, no matter how intrusive, whimsical, or ill-considered, is suddenly taken as absolute". Even the most arrogant pilot would know not to land without a suitable runway, but they might still just randomly think "what if I could?" for a second. It's shown again with Kate Stewart; her rant basically started dragging up every random thing she'd never normally take seriously like "What if the Doctor isn't actually trustworthy?" or "Does Shirley really have that much trouble walking?", when it's well established she doesn't actually believe any of those things. I find it a bit wierd that the writers tried to summarise this as "everyone always thinks they're right" but it's a fairly concise explanation and the episode doesn't really spend long enough on the actual situation to justify going into detail about the specifics when we can kind of see them anyway.
Haha it involves a lot of logging on to twitter and frantically scrolling past anything that looks remotely like the show 😅 also helps that I don’t watch TV or live in a country that advertises this show
"A win for the bi's!" I just burst out laughing.

I admire your ability to avoid spoilers. I'm not sure how you managed that, short of locking yourself in a small metal box for several months.
