This is really handy. I plan to do something similar on a tiny home. Thank you!

I would need to do this for my mobile home, but I need to use treated plywoods 3/4 inch thick because the city ask to backfill at 12". I'm going to use treated lumber for the frame studs at 24" on center. Thanks for the video and ideas, keep the videos coming!

So I didn't see any VENTS in your skirting. Did you leave those out on purpose?

I have the vents but they were not installed at the time. Definitely put in some vents.

@@FranciscoGonzalez-ro7ht but I usually do 3 on each side on a single wide, on a short double I do 2 in front, 2 on each side, and 2 in back, long double i just add 1 more to each side. I think it just looks more aesthetically pleasing that way.

I decided not to put up any vents and I now have a dehumidifier underneath that keeps the humidity below 60%. Because we live in Tennessee summer are very humid. With vents it let's all that humidity air in then when it it cools off at night the humidity will condense and possibly cause mold.
There is no building code or inspections where I live in rural TN

how much is the hardie board per sheet ? I wonder how long it will hold up.

The color plus was $80 for 4x10 sheet, about $65 unpainted. I think it has a 30 year warranty. The roofing metal I was looking at had a 25 year warranty but I think the metal would last longer.

I would paint the mobile home that color of the hardy board. My new mobile home is the same color as yours, and I will paint it the safe green color.

How do you get in if you have a plumbing issue? Did you build a door somewhere?
