That's what I hate about the Olympics - way too much focus on the gold. As if the other medals don't mean a thing. Shame.
well, that's what people want, and if you are an olympic athlete, it's that competitiveness that's driven you to go that far. So when that kind of hyper-competitive athlete doesn't get the medal they want, it's a huge letdown for them. No athlete wants to settle for anything less than gold, which I don't think you understand.
