New Zealand has always intrigued me. Have always wanted to go to the Cook Islands. I now have a new want. The waterfall at the end of The Squeeze looked fantastic until he said it was a warm 38° BURR... Did I hear that right? I was expecting 98° or higher... Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful and thought-provoking vlog😘

The audio mixing on this is horrendously bad. The "background" music shouldn't be as loud, or louder than the voiceover. When that happens, the voiceover becomes the background.

I know how this sounds guys but our river doesn't run like a normal river it runs from the ocean not the mountains. It seems he just made up it's source

    • @Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism

All rivers start higher than sea level and lead to the oceans (or into larger rivers that then do). If rivers were already at sea level, they couldn't flow downhill and if they started at the ocean, rather than rain run off and springs from the mountains, then they wouldn't be fresh water either. You can google map the river and you'll see it's source.

The river starts in the form of many small streams on the eastern slopes of Mount Ruapehu. The Mangatoetoenui Glacier (once also called the Waikato Glacier) is one of the principal sources.[7] The southernmost tributary is called the Upper Waikato Stream. The Waipakihi River joins the Waikato from the Kaimanawa Mountains to the west. From the point where the river meets the Waihohonu Stream, down to Lake Taupō, it has been formally named the Tongariro River since 1945.[7]
