SubhanAllah! So beautiful! Thank you for taking me along! When my daughter was in Cairo for her 3rd year of college, we took a holiday foray to the Siwa Oasis. I was completely awestruck at our encounter with the Sahara; i will never forget it. Apart from the feeling of being lost in the midst of the great ocean of sand, there was the absence of sound, except for the whisper of the wind over the dunes. Our guides/hosts spread a great wool rug and prepared sweet, hot mint tea as we sat watching & wondering how they'd manage to return us safely to our inn with the sun seeming to melt like a pat of butter over the tops of the dunes.

Astonishing, spell bounding. Beautiful story-telling and videography. I feel for the Camels though. They must be horrendously tired after such a journey. The people there have a such a hard and unpredictable life.
