- The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen is here and it finally gets upgraded to the 401 platform thats based on the 2024 KTM Duke 390. So it gets the same engine, frame, suspension and brakes. But what sets it apart is the signature minimalist styling and the big bike design. And with a tempting 2.92L pricetag it looks like the perfect allrounder! But is it? Sarge hops on to find out!

I first saw your video when I was back in college and was too into motorsports, it was the Daytona 675R review on PD I believe. To this day I've not forgotten the sound of the 675R roaring in those mountains. looks lovely, i do miss the tidy rear end with the mud flap on the wheel itself, would’ve cleared up the rear end, hope some aftermarket parts would fix this

Just love the way it looks! A brilliant option for someone who wants the Duke 390's fun engine in a far subtler and (arguably) more beautiful body.
The protruded flat panel on the side of the tank kinda reminds of the OG MT01 tank.
They really should give the option to choose between spoked wheels (for looks) and alloys (for convenience).
Although, that flyscreen(?) does look like it was abrubtly lopped off at the top 😅.

Is a tubeless option available? Or can this be upgraded with outex? Tube tyres will a major drawback even as a city bike its a headache to fix punctures.

Probably off topic but it will be helpful for me if you can tell me what frame rate your editor used for slow motion shots. is it 60fps turned into 30fps or something else because it looks good.

This was shot at lavasa near Pune
Walked in with a bias for the 390 but turned over to the Husky mid way. Real looker this and based on what you're saying, makes the right compromises to be a bike you can live with. Nice shots on the bridge!
As much as I love the new Duke this is a far better all rounder while barely compromising on the performance. Only problem is the spoke wheels and I don't see Bajaj offering the Vitpilen allloys as accessories

I watch his videos for cinematics, I don't have the money for these bikes, as amazing as they are but his riding skills are fabulous. I think having skills like him any bike will feel ample enough for fun

I think I'm going old school for my next bike since the DRZ400SM has eluded me all these years. But I love the look of the Svartpilen. It's doing its own thing. It's not a supermoto, not a streetfighter, not an adventure bike, or a dual sport... it's a little bit of all of them. It's genius!

I own the '23 Svartpilen 250 and was so excited for the 401's. I actually like the Vitiplen 401 more now than its sibling. Anyway, its still one of the most awesome looking bike in the market.

I prefer the speed because it is lighter, is more responsive and handles better

Pillion comfort is good better of the flat wide seat and the bigger headlamp helps with the illumination
