    As a motorcycle enthusiast, looking at the current market offerings i am very happy with the options available to choose from. And by god, all the manufacturers have done their best and delivered also. I just hope big brands like harley-hero, bmw (needs to bring in a new face for g310gs), Triumph -bajaj, Aprilia should bring good products in adv segment.
    Cheers to himalayan team, for bringing out such an awesome product.
    Ride safe and god speed.
    P.s. might have to sell my softail heritage 114 and switch segment to start a new adventure with the new Himalayan 😂

    I don't usually subscribe to TH-cam channels, but Sagar sir's videos are always top notch. Nothing over the top, no loud background music or screaming over the lungs (I'm looking at you PowerDrift). Subbed.

    Six months ago, I had doubts about the Himalayan, but after watching your video, I felt confident in choosing the Triumph Scrambler. Now, with almost 7000 km ridden in and around Bangalore, I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

    Why not put the taller windscreen and better seat on the standard model already? Also, they have another set of mirrors to replace the jittery ones that come as standard. All these accessories cost far more than what they are actually worth. The fact that RE has released the same as soon as they launched the bike only shows that RE deliberately did not change these because they want to make money at the cost of customer discomfort. This is a very cunning strategy from RE. Already the bike costs a bomb and RE wants us to shell out more for upgrades that should ideally be standard fitment. Very disappointed.

    Again an awesome review 😊😊❤. Two take aways:
    1) This bike is definitely not for someone who can afford only one bike which can fullfill both city and touring needs. This is not city machine considering low end torque and weight to maneuver.
    2). The 'inconsistency' which you mentioned is something a very scary thing. So then it's pure luck to get a 0 issue bike from factory 😊. Shocking to here that earlier bike you rode, had different power figures.

    I had an interesting conversation with an RE employee while on trip to the western ghats in December 23. What this gentleman said was that RE is trying to get into Dakar with an iteration of this engine. Although I don’t have doubts that this guy was working for RE, I do have doubts about his claim but I am hopeful of the claim nonetheless 😛

    Being a new owner of one, as my very First RE, I think it's safe to say it was worth the wait... However... Some issues... Don't know if you experienced it "yet", but try leaving the handlebars, notice how it sways to right drastically... and it get's worse over time.. Been a month since it got it, but now I feel the bike wanting to sway to the right and I feel more effort on my right hand to keep it straight. As per the service center, they said it is an alignment issue which should be fixed by any vendor who does wheel alignment... but still waiting for that. And the Cone Set issue, which you already addressed, which was fixed by the service executives very quickly I might ad right after pointing it out.

    • @toyframeproductions962
      @toyframeproductions962 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was talking about the bike steering towards the right, if you leave the handle bars or hold them loosely. That I think is not an issue with the cone set, I got my cone set fixed from RE itself, but their service executive also confirmed that the bike pulls to the right. So that may be an alignment problem or the forks not being perfectly parallel to each other. FYI, I haven't done any hardcore off-roading on it(YET), still testing out it's capabilities and build with regular rides, I am about to go on a slightly long tour, from Hyderabad to Bangalore this Friday though, so I'll see how it holds up

    I rode 4 different H450's from 4 different dealerships and I've never been more confused. One bike felt refined and relaxed at 100 kmph.. while the other felt like it was asking me to calm down. One felt buzzy at city speeds too.. while the other felt compartively refined at almost all speeds. Out of the 4, two had their first service done, and there wasnt much queue before I rode them. However one common issue across 3 of them was tappet noises (or mechanical clutter). While the bike is impressive no doubt... but these things should be dealt with more caution..

    Hey Sarge! I have an off-topic request. Could you please teach off-road riding techniques in the form of a video? It will be a help for those who want to learn but do not have access to such institutions.
    P.S You outdone yourself with every other video you upload. Cheers!

    Good review. Cone set problems is a "patent" feature of all Royal Enfields. The lack of low-end torque for off-road enthusiasts is a bummer.

    Do the vibration on himalayan452 is more annoying after crossing 100kmph to 150kmph or just lite buzz which is negligable?
    And i am thinking to get 452 on may will RE people work on those issues and resolve before that time period ?

    • @SagarSheldekarOfficial
      @SagarSheldekarOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      As I said they are not as pronounced in the higher revs in higher gears. So cruising at 130 no problem unless you get a vibey bike from RE

    • @SagarSheldekarOfficial
      @SagarSheldekarOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because RE is waiting for the rims to be certified by the Indian government

    Sagar boss,
    Good job keep on going. Mention more about mechanical improvements which can be done for reliability and durability.
    But the real bikes are big capacity multicylinder bikes to be manufactured in India. We should urge all the Japanese manufacturers to setup their factories for their motorcycles to be manufactured in India so that we Indians will get more technical know how (R&D, innovation, engine design, metallurgy, rigorous testing) and the main breakthrough in race development.
    Also for vehicles manufactured in India we will get the tax benefits of made in India and a much lower sticker price for many Indians to enjoy big capacity, high performance premium motorcycles.
    Common we all should push International manufacturers to make their big bikes in India.
