Sir I need a city bike which can also do touring and wont disappoint on off road trails. So based on your observation I think scrambler 400x will suit me better. Thank you for clearing the confusion Sarge. Keep up the excellent work❤
Why not put the taller windscreen and better seat on the standard model already? Also, they have another set of mirrors to replace the jittery ones that come as standard. All these accessories cost far more than what they are actually worth. The fact that RE has released the same as soon as they launched the bike only shows that RE deliberately did not change these because they want to make money at the cost of customer discomfort. This is a very cunning strategy from RE. Already the bike costs a bomb and RE wants us to shell out more for upgrades that should ideally be standard fitment. Very disappointed.
Once again, the ONLY review you need out there. Never stop riding man. Just curious, why were you cornering motocross style on tarmac with the Himalayan and not with the KTM or the Triumph?

This is not city machine considering low end torque and weight to maneuver. 2). The 'inconsistency' which you mentioned is something a very scary thing. So then it's pure luck to get a 0 issue bike from factory 😊. Shocking to here that earlier bike you rode, had different power figures.

Being a new owner of one, as my very First RE, I think it's safe to say it was worth the wait... However... Some issues... Don't know if you experienced it "yet", but try leaving the handlebars, notice how it sways to right drastically... and it get's worse over time.. Been a month since it got it, but now I feel the bike wanting to sway to the right and I feel more effort on my right hand to keep it straight. As per the service center, they said it is an alignment issue which should be fixed by any vendor who does wheel alignment... but still waiting for that. And the Cone Set issue, which you already addressed, which was fixed by the service executives very quickly I might ad right after pointing it out.
I was talking about the bike steering towards the right, if you leave the handle bars or hold them loosely. That I think is not an issue with the cone set, I got my cone set fixed from RE itself, but their service executive also confirmed that the bike pulls to the right. So that may be an alignment problem or the forks not being perfectly parallel to each other. FYI, I haven't done any hardcore off-roading on it(YET), still testing out it's capabilities and build with regular rides, I am about to go on a slightly long tour, from Hyderabad to Bangalore this Friday though, so I'll see how it holds up @@SagarSheldekarOfficial
