    Finally anyone compare svart401 old and new models. But for me more interesting difference on the engines powers, because engine blocks are totally changed on the new one.

    I go with the older look too. There are some features that could be good from the new one, but overall the older one is more beautiful, more all together, and there are some things that really bother me with the new one, like the frame, position of the rear suspension, exhaust, exhaust cover the visible plastic on the left side under the frame. Maybe for the next update the will get closer the the older look....

    Me encanta el modelo anterior. El diseño muy neo conservando las particularidades de una moto retro corta y aguil. Sería genial poder adaptarles cosas de las 2024 como, la pantalla, el exosto y la suspensión delantera.

    great content, thank you! appreciate the little every day details you provide. still love everything about this bike, wish i grabbed one when i had the opportunity! the older styling is much cleaner imho, if i end up with a new one first change will be a tall tidy kit lol!
    thanks again for the video!

    I am currently on a Duke 200 and aiming to upgrade my bike... just for the style (and even with the lower ground clearance and fuel tank capacity) I would go for the 23 model.
    Even better, a cheaper price makes it a bang for a buck! I'd invest that saving on some accesories for the oldie Svart
    Thanks for you video! Greetings from Mexico~

      @leopierreventura22 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      P.s: the display is practically the same as my Duke's, so the transition would be way easier and IMHO I believe that less is more. A simpler machine would give me less issues than a more sophisticated, yet the fun wouldn't be dimished

    1. How big of difference is there regarding the stance and stability of the new 2024 Svartpilen versus previous models driving on the highway? My commute involves getting on the highway.
    2. As far as price goes, would you recommend buying a new 2024 Svartpilen stock or buying a previous model used and then adding a FuelX Lite, K&N air filter, DNA air filter cover, plus protection mods? I am in the States where there are less restrictions.

    • @bikesonabudgetjapan
      @bikesonabudgetjapan  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sounds like the new model might be the best for you. It's a little bigger and a little more stable. A naked bike on the highway is fun but can get tiring. I get a sore neck after about an hour because you have a lot of wind blasting on your helmet. The 2024 model also has a wider, more comfortable seat. It will be interesting seeing what kind of aftermarket parts become available for it.

    Personally option on What husky needed to do instead of coming up with a lazy designed bike. keep the exact same design, but put in a bigger oil tank, extend the bike size like the 2024 model and thats it. Seat heights, display don’t matter. Agreed?

    • @metaldreams3595

      No Sir, I do not agree. I think people who are unsure or dont like the new one should watch a video detailing everything that they did with the 2024.
      Design wise? Its subjective of course but to me theyre sorta interchangeable.
      Love the cool modern look...on both.

      The bike has only just been released so there aren't any reports of oil leaks (yet?). Neutral seems to be a bit easier but it isn't really a problem on the older models once you get used to it.

    I don't like that the finish of the seat and the rear fender is with rounded lines in the 2024 model, because the %80 of the motorcycle is angular, with straight lines and it doesn't look good to adapt rounded lines to it by force. They would have simply lengthened it the back seat, but with right angles and they would have left the spray deflector on the rear wheel which looked very good!!! For me the 2024 model takes away the essence and personality of the bike.

    I had a 2022 vitpilen 401 for over a year and it had a problem with stalling the whole time. I took it back to the dealership repeatedly and they never fixed it. It got stolen and damaged so insurance replaced it with a 2024 model and it is even worse. It stalled multiple times before I left the dealership and their advice was keep an eye on it en let us know how it goes. It stalls up to 12 times an hour, every ride with the clutch lever pulled all the way in.
    I took it for a diagnosis from an independent mechanic who told me not to ride it because it is too dangerous. I told home the only time I ride it is to take it back to the dealership.
    Today I took it back and told them I will never ride it again.
    We need to start a class action lawsuit against Husqvarna for endangering consumers with known faulty product and when we have gotten our compensation someone needs to do a Untied HealthCare hit on the Husqy CEO for wilfully continuing to put the public in danger.

      Thanks for the detailed comment. That's quite a story and it sounds like you were pretty unlucky. I would be very annoyed if that happened to me and would demand my money back from the dealership. I'm releasing a new video next week about my experience with the bike.
