    • @DoubtMeTech
      @DoubtMeTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I personally like to shoot at the lowest possible ISO. If I can add more light when needed, I will, if not, then I start to increase the iso to whatever works best for the shot. But always add as much light as you can before cranking up the ISO so that you can get the cleanest image

    Hi. Can you make a video on picture profile for those of us who do not color grade? I'm not sure if it's possible to just have something straight out of camera (specifically, the a6400) and make it look very close to cinematic.

    • @DoubtMeTech
      @DoubtMeTech  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To get a truly cinematic look, you really have to do some level of color grading. If you're not too familiar with color grading from scratch, there are some different plug ins that give you cinematic look presets. Sometimes those are pretty affordable and will give you a decent look with the click of a button. I personally don't recommend going into the settings and trying to achieve a cinematic look straight from camera, because generally the look you like on one scene will not look good on other scenes. So that's why being able to color grade in post is ideal for making each scene look its best. I suggest looking into cinematic preset plugins for the editing program you use.

    i always find the a7 iii looks noticeably more cinematic than the a6xxx cameras. How do you compare the a7 iii to a6400 for video quality?

    • @DoubtMeTech
      @DoubtMeTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      They both do a great job. If we're talking about video and a more cinematic look, it comes down to the lens. The f stop and focal length can change the look dramatically. Full frame does have more background blur, which can be more cinematic.
      But when it comes to actual video quality itself, both do an amazing job and are extremely comparable. The new a6400 and a6600 have the same color science as the a7iii and new full frame cameras.
      If your goal is to create short films, movies, or cinematic music videos, I recommend the a7iii. If you're doing various types of videos besides what I mentioned, then the a6400 or a6600 will do the job.
      If you're trying to get close to the look of this short film on the a6400, you won't get the same background blur and exact focal lengthbut you can get close with sigma 30mm f1.4 lens on the a6400. It works great and looks really cinematic

    Ok, my honest opinion based solely on the sample footage that you show here...your profile seems too much on the yellowish-greenish side for my taste. I don't like the skin tones at all, and blue objects look muffled and ill. Sorry! But I appreciate your will to give and share.

    • @DoubtMeTech
      @DoubtMeTech  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you saying the ungraded or the graded sample? Because my graded sample is my stylistic choice for the final video. Every video I do I give it a different style. I don't like doing true to life colors and contrast in my final products because it feels boring for my personal taste. So all my final music videos and short films have deep shadow colors and highlight colors. This video was not so much about how to color grade in my style for this video, but the ungraded video that gives you the most flexibility for the color grading that YOU want to do.

    • @oriomenoni7651
