      I have a Sony A6600 but 24fps doesn't appear? I don't know what to do? Can you help me please?
      XAVC S 4k and them 25p 100M and 25p 60M option. Nothing more...

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Your camera is set to “PAL.” Find the setting to switch it to “NTSC” and it’ll change the frame rates to 24/30/60/120 options.

      Nice 👍 thanks for sharing. I have a question 👋
      So there is a 1.5x crop factor on the lens by default. Is there another 1.5 crop when we select 4k 30? Or is it 1.1x like with 1080 120?
      If my calculations are correct: a 20mm lens will be around 33mm when filming in 4k 30 and 1080 120? Thanks!

    OMG so many settings. I use Canon M50 and everything seems to be so complicated in Sony setup. I was thinking of upgrading my camera to Sony but after watching your very helpful video, I think I will go for canon Eos R instead. Thanks for your informative video.

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just keep in mind that the more settings you have is a good thing because that gives you more videos options. Plus the EOS R has a 1.7x crop when shooting 4K just like the M50 so your 50mm lens on that camera will be liking shooting 85mm. You’ll have to get an ultra wide lens just to be able to shoot video in a normal focal length range.

    Hi! I've just both my a6600 mainly for video shooting. I am new to sony systems so my question may be a bit daft . In menu in record setting I don't have 24p100M or 24p60M. I have 25p 100M or 25p 60M? I also don't have 120p 100M. Why my settings are different from yours?

    • @CamberFilmSchool

      There aren’t specific settings that will make your camera look better in low light. You’ll want get good lenses with low maximum apertures so you can get down towards f/1.4 to let in as much light as possibly without having to crank the ISO up really high. • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    why do I have different record settings than you do ? I can only shot in 25, 50 and 100 fps in S HD with a maximum of 50 megabits for 25 and 50 fps and 100 megabits for 100 fps.

    Thanks man for a good video! I have a question, how about 1080 120p 100M vs 1080 60p 50M, which one would be better in terms of quality? I understand that 60p uses the full sensor and 120p is cropped but it contains more data?

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I only use higher frame rates for slow motion. 60fps is more likely higher quality, but it depends on how slow you want your footage to be because 120fps slows down way more at 24 fps.

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It all depends on the space you’re working in. The best way is to make sure there is a lot of space between the subject and the wall behind. Then you just have to start playing around with lights to see how it looks.
      Looks like one light on the back wall and one on him. I’d add a third light shining down on the back of the subject for a rim light.

    Bro I want to purchase my first ever camera. My main purpose would be around good Cinematic videography and Photography too. I am very confused between few cameras such as A6600, ZV-E10, A6400, Canon R10 or Canon R50. All of these are costing me almost the same, like there's no major difference in pricing. Yes A6600 is without Kit Lens, that's it. Can you suggest which one would be best.

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you want good cinematic video then you’re not going to want to use a kit lens. It’s a waste of money. The lens is going to make more of a difference than the camera. I’d go for a cheaper camera like the ZV-E10 body and get a high quality lens.

      I use the FX3. I like full frame cameras better because you get better low light performance and more shallow depth of field at the same aperture.
