Just a little tip for risotto from an Italian: you're supposed to cook it in a pot... just sauté the onions with the rice (and the veggies) first (put in the pot), than add vine, than add broth until everything is covered an let it simmer. If needed add more broth as it keeps simmering. Actually it shouldn't take longer than 20-30min ;) Lots of love xo

Dear Sanne, here is again your biggest Italian fan, Laura! I want to share with you an awesome Italian chicken's recipe! Cut the chicken in medium pieces and roll them into flour. Warm up a pan, medium/high heat and melt a little bit of butter or vegan margarine with some olive oil and as they are melted, add the chicken. Add salt and pepper and turn the chicken after the side touching the pan got cooked. After u turned the chicken, press half of a lemon over the chicken. Cook the chicken until cooked (should take max two minutes from when u add the lemon) and serve it with the sauce from the pan (butter olive oil and lemon). Adjust salt and pepper and serve a simple salad next to it! This recipe is called : scaloppine al limone. I share it with you, cause I get so inspired by you and I want to give it back! Thanks for all videos :) Love you so matcha, Laura

A tip for risotto: keep stirring it! I usually stir continuously with one hand while adding liquid with the other. This gives it a creamy texture and helps evenly distribute the liquid so everything cooks!
This is the first video I watch of you and I love it! I wish those ingredients were available where I live, but I look forward to making something similar. Thank you ❤
your risotto actually looks so good 💛 a tip is to cook it in a pot and keep stirring (also cause it might stick to the pot) and you also got the perfect rice for it, arborio! if you come back to italy you need to try rice from the brand “riserva San massimo” imo it’s the best rice ever 💛

Hi! for your rashes, i have had the same for years, it's eczema!! probably is the same for you as it looks very similar. In replacement of an 'addictive' eczema cream, simply try putting a moisturizer formulated for sensitive/broken skin on the area and vaseline over top at night :)
I’m italian, for a better result you should add a tiny piece of fresh butter (or a vegan option) at the end and give it a stir so that it is well tied and creamy. You won’t regret it😉! In italy is called “mantecatura”.
Hi Sanne! There are many delicious recipes to make risotto, some of my favorites are risotto with pumpkin, a treat! risotto with asparagus, risotto with 4 cheeses, risotto with zucchini and prawns, risotto alla parmigiana etc. Big hug from Italy 🥰
I’m so confused by this! Is this how Italians make it? I have made risotto from so many recipes over the years and every last one of them had me cooking the rice slowly in stock (small amounts, only adding the next after the previous is absorbed). Isn’t this whole point if the dish? If you boil the rice in water like pasta and then mix in the other flavours won’t it be bland?
Ok thanks I’ll try that :) although I’m still mystified as to why every risotto recipe I’ve ever read does it the other way. Maybe I’ve slipped into a parallel universe! 🤣

oh girl i think you have eczema on your eyelids. i got it this past winter from stress/dry weather. just make sure you’re moisturized/hydrated and see a doctor if it doesn’t get better! i found that a coconut oil moisturizer really helped mine-the brand was “shea moisture.”
Rashes on the eyelids are usually caused by stress. Even if you’re not feeling super stressed it can be from extra pressure on your adrenals. Using a soothing balm can help but make sure it’s not a steroid cream as that will thin and damage your skin even more in the long term.
Can't WAIT to see your new interior, Sanne! Do you own the place, or are you guys just renting? Thanks for taking the time and effort to make great content over and over again!

Please do keep us updated if you find what causes the redness/eczema type around the eyes! Thanks so much!!! Lots of love from L.A.!!
Always so down to earth and every video is cool! Can opener tip because the same thing happens to me- wonder if this tip works for you- wrap a wet hand towel around the crank and then it makes it so much easier … hm does it work? I always had trouble with Can openers before this tip 😂
Omg i had the exact same eye allergy as you it's called 'contact dermatitis' and it could most likely be from a skincare or makeup product you're using but it could also be originating from your scalp like maybe from a shampoo or conditioner you're using. I was told by my dermatologist to use 'Locatop 0.1% cream' around the eyes and on the face and to also apply Vaseline the original 'healing ointment' specifically, not any other type of Vaseline (but only around the eyes) but not at the same time as Locatop. She also recommended Avene products specifically Cicalfate emulsion but only for the face as it's part of healing all the skin and it's become an absolute favorite of mine now. You unfortunately can't wear any makeup other than SPF but there's tinted versions from Avene and also Isdin she recommended which are fine to use under the eyes as well. This cured me fr, hope you see this !!
I had the same thing happen to my eyelids! It was a reaction to my eye makeup remover. It could be a skincare or makeup product your using that’s causing it to flare up. Good luck ❤️
Good morning Sanne! The apron...LOL... I can tell that your hair is much thicker...so pretty. Breakfast with the Chia seed pudding looks delicious! The Risotto meal looks delicious as well. I have an electric can opener and I have to fight with it at times to get the lid off. You would think with it being electric that you wouldn't have to do that....right. Sanne, I believe you made a video showing where we could get your same water bottle, but I can't remember which video it is. Would you please tell me where you bought it? Appreciate it...
A tip with opening cans! Turn the can opener sideways so the sharp wheel points to the side of the can, then "latch" it on to the outside of the upper edge of the can. This way, the straight cutting blade rolls around the outside of the can and isn't trying to turn inside the top of the can. It never gets stuck! The only thing to watch is that the top of the can is then a raw sharp edge, so be careful handling it as it is SO easy to cut yourself. :)
@@annikatribby5717 When I was a kid we used to have an opener that actually popped the seal on the lip rather than puncturing the can - it was amazing and I've never seen one since.
I had something like that over my eyes too, but I think it came from my neurodermatitis. But if you put on it and don't touch it, it goes away. Good luck:)
Firstly.... I love you madly. Second.... could you try and review Cameron Diaz’s wine? It’s supposed to be some of the cleanest organic wine out there. Just to be cautions b- vitamins and ashwaganda could have the opposite effects. It can cause anxiety. Me and a lot of people react badly to it. Because these vitamins and herbs are stimulating the nerves system.
omg I had that with aswaganda- it was almost like when I was younger and became paranoid on weed, yikes!! Wish I could take it though I need the energy
Dont put any medicine cream on your rash, it will only be a ''quick fix'' and after a couple of days it usually comes back even worse. I made the same mistake once, at i ended up getting a serious rash all over my eyes (it was really destroying). I ended up developing a skin disease called perioral dermatitis (rosacea) which i got treated. But Now i can only use extremely clean makeup products and brand called exuviance, becuase once it is provoked it may come back in the future.
I have the same eyelid issue! I get it from retinol!! It goes away but I put petroleum on my eyelids and then the retinol. It might be a cream or wash that you are taking. Eyelid skin is much more sensitive than the rest of the face

We’re cant without the matcha!!🤩
Need some new pilate workout videos too 👉🏼👈🏼
PS. I love you so much and thanks for uplifting more recipes💛
I have the same eyelid issue! I get it from retinol!! It goes away but I put petroleum on my eyelids and then the retinol. It might be a cream or wash that you are taking. Eyelid skin is much more sensitive than the rest of the face
I missed you thanks for this😍💚💚
Do you love your journal? I love that it prompts you. Have a link if you recommend it?

Hi! Can you please link that journal. I’ve been journaling lately free write but that looks nice to have fill in the blanks and positive things for the start of the day!
Really love your nail colour and accessories ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Question -- where is the big wooden cutting board from & how do you clean it? I need one like that!
Also Jason & Jessie's kitchen looks so much like your old NYC one that it throws me off when you film in there!
Thanks for the new recipe ideas! Also a matcha bar in Austin -- amazing
