That's me driving 3CIG 1497 complete with 'Lymington Flyer' headboard! I thought I would miss seeing the tour, but when I came around the corner at Lymington Junction, it was still there. That's why I gave a long blast on the horn!
Looked a great day out Craig. Loved the shot of 34070 departing Swanage and then where you swung to see the sides of 34067 brilliant! Nice to see the Cig on the mainline too. The 37 clagged a bit moving the ECS at Swanage!
It was a brillaint day out. As expected, Tangmere performed well, although I believe it needed a bit of assistance from behind between Worgret Jn and Furzebrook, due to it slipping. Glad you loved the shot of 34070 departing Swanage. Was originally going to phot her just after passing under the road bridge, but, Tangmere was placed in the way so I decided to video her going away and pan round on Tangmere. Indeed the 37 clagged a bit!
Thanks for sharing. Great pics. I would like to come to England to travel on these trains. Could you give me a hint where to book these trips? Your answer is most appreciated. Cheers from Switzerland. I would like to smell the smoke of this steam locomotive....
That was an excellent piece of work Craig, thoroughly enjoyable, and very well produced..5* Bob
