They look bright and so simple to install, compared to HID
On my 2010 gti,I get the light in the dash every time I try to use these things
Installed on my GOLF VI 2012. The lamps worked about 200h, then the DX lamp started flashing and check canbus signals lamp failure.
Replace in warranty, 250h then same defect this time for both.
Not recommended because they are completely unreliable. >:-(((((

Yes, but undoubtedly they are better and shed more light, but the problem is that when you go to mount them and turn on the panel of the car, the light anomaly light comes on ... I've always done this to me, I don't know if you are too
Hey, had no issues with these with warning lights coming on. Reference the bulb fitting, these bulbs have the retaining bracket built into the housing of the bulbs.

Hi, are they insterted to 3 and 9 oclock? I purchased similar recently but they won't twist further and the chips are slightly under an angle (2 and 8 oclock). Thanks
does it pass MOT and do the bulbs stay in corret beam pattern for mot to pass? By the looks in the video- the light can blind the incoming traffic.
New law in Feb 2021 made it so that it's illegal to change your bulb from halogen to leds
@@ShadowIYI that`s only for reflector lights , but if you put projector then is absolutly legal

You should NOT replace halogen bulbs with LEDs if you do not also replace the reflectors--- due to halogen reflectors do not spead the LED light PROPERLY, and can actually temporarily blind coming traffic with superbright, glaring, light.
What is the point of these bulbs if the blinded driver smashes into you, at speed? Because they couldn't see.
In the states, LED replacement in halogen reflectors is NOT legal, per DOT!
And is really easy to check on this post accident. So the LED driver might have caused the mishap. Or contributed to it by blinding the other driver!
Have consideration for the other drivers! YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT!!!

And then the ones you mounted in the video are H15, while the ones that were there before are H7, how is it possible that you have mounted them the same, impossible that they are fine having the attack different from the other
Idiot. The H7 is all integrated in the shell. It’s just a H7 upgrade for a mk6. not a h7 led bulb is it ? Other wise it would have the two prongs. However, this unit is built in containing a fan ?
Any error on dashboard.? I've read (GOLF MK6 HATCHBACK 2009-2010) show up error (bulb out) installing the same led kit. ❤️🙏
This kit was fine as it had an inbuilt decoder 👍🏼

They have an inbuilt fan to keep them cool, shouldn’t be a problem with the cover on as long as the cover doesn’t block the fan 👍🏼

It didn’t on this car but some have said they get an error. The company sell an error code blocker which plugs in between the connector and bulb if you do get errors.

Yes I have done it for mine yesterday they work but the bulb out logo does come up on the dashboard it can be removed with a OBD scanner tho
