Known as Revelations: Persona in the west, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona was originally released on the PlayStation. The battle music from Persona also plays in the background-which is awesome!
This DLC is part of the "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Costume & BGM Special Set" found on the PlayStation Store. It can be purchased and downloaded for $6.99 on PS3 and PS4. No cross-buy though.

I really wish that you could set battle music without having to wear that game’s respective costume. For example, I like the normal phantom thieves outfits but I would rather listen to mass destruction than last surprise tbh but I can’t do both

Well you only have to use joker and it’s not that noticeable
That's a new feature in Persona 5 strikers, if you pre-order you get DLC that has the old battle themes you can equip them in the menu

Imagine guys a persona 1 and 2(both part in one whole game) using the newer engines(be it what i call the tartarus engine, the midnight channel engine, or the kaito engine) but still retain the rules of both games sans its turn base and rather use the press turn. All in complete 3d and not just sprites. Man i cant wait to see the mob boss from persona 1
This would be a great idea! P1’s gameplay didn’t age that bad and my biggest problem with it is the sprite work on the overworld and the controls when walking inside rooms so a remake that puts both 1 and 2 would be great

I downloaded this DLC but I don't know how to set the costume or the new music
You'll want to go to the main menu, then Equip, then scroll to Outfit. From there you can set the costume to whichever DLC you purchased. The music changes whenever the main character is wearing DLC costumes. Hope that helps!
After downloading the DLC, you can get them in-game by accessing the cardboard box in MC's attic room

why is there so much hate for the psp music lol, i get that it was repetitive cuz of the encounter rate but still...
I guess its because it doesn’t match the theme for the PSX port of Persona 1 since even though it’s a Persona games it’s still took place in the SMT universe like SMT If and Devil Summoner, and the story does have some kind of mysterious vibe behind it. Sure I like SMT Persona PSP soundtrack but after hearing and playing Revelations Personas I have to pick Revelations over PSP because it’s has good soundtrack that fits the game theme
