This probably should have been a DLC story of what happened to Adachi (despite whether you pursued a social link with him in P4 or golden).
But then again, a lot of people were sick of the “persona 4 continuations”.

Considering his Phantom Thief outfit, Adachi's officially the "Henry Jekyll" of the Persona universe.
(But seriously, this is beyond amazing. I expected just some model-swapping, but you went as far as to take lines out of P4U + making custom assets + rewriting the in-game lines. This is beyond masterwork, you guys deserve a statue. _One each, if possible._ )

Whether it's intentional or not, i like the fact that his basic attack due to the animation resembles his Ultimax DP, either way this is bloody amazing work, it amazes me the amount of time you've put into this mod and i can't praise it enough, even the music gets me incredibly hype for this. i look forward to seeing Adachi show these people what true distortion looks like within one's own heart

He could've gone through Persona 5 without hanging out with anyone and solely rode along the fact that his Persona is strong as shit. His reason for taking down each Palace ruler would be because they wronged him. Along the way he just picks up a bunch of assholes that help him out all while he just fakes being their friends.

Oh boy, this is gonna make fighting so much more awesome! Like fighting fire with fire! I always wondered if Adachi would fit in the game, and now this mod. Oh man! So good, thank you Shrinefox! Also very nice detail for making Adachi's default state his high school uniform back in the Golden Animation, along with him wearing Aviators. It matches Joker pretty well.

we did use ultimax render, but we recreated them to fit 5's art style

I am loving this mod so far I can't wait until it's done and finished, but I have to ask, are you going to fix his face animations for all the cutscenes?( you know kind of like the face animations you see in dancing all night) I know that's a lot of hard work but I think that would be Awesome! And it wouldn't look so awkward with just his plain face expression all the time, also I think the Persona 4 Arena ultimax artwork will look a little better in the battles and menus for him( I don't have anything against original artwork I just find that ultimax artwork would look a little better for him)
Anyway I can't wait to play as cabbage head adachi tohru, thank you so much for your dedication to this mod!~X3

I would absolutely adore a version of game where Adachi for whatever reason gets reincarnated/his younger self takes the place of Joker (the model shown could absolutely pass off as the younger student/college version of adach we seen in flashback during P4 Animation) and his “actual” self as his inner voice guides him to be a goodie two shoes to keep his promise of “abiding by the rules of the world” through whatever means necessary, and in this case that means forcing others to do so as well. His motivation for being a phantom thief wouldnt be anything noble, simply his cynical actual self guiding his younger more idealistic self to enforce justice.
