You could create a new villainous group of persona users who want to break the seal in order take Minato Universe arcana. Igor himself state that this power was capable of anything. Maybe this group believes that with this power, they can fix/restore all the mistakes they had done in their life, like resurrecting someone dear. Add in a god that desires this power in order to create a new world out of the destroyed earth, and you have persona 6

Let us all remember that out of the three protagonists, Makoto is the only one using a real weapon. Yu uses a fake sword that's meant for collection/decoration purposes and Akira's weapons are a knife and model gun that only work because of being in the cognitive world. Makoto has a real sword.

Lets be honest, if Maya or Tatsuya were a super boss battle for Persona 5 Royal, both if them would be on par with Demifiend in terms of difficulty
Minako gets to be sort-of canon as of PQ2. That’s more than any of those other guys can claim.
And this is why people want remakes of 3 and 4 in 5's engine.

What’s really telling is that if you meet all the requirements for their Level ??? battles, Lavenza will say Joker has gained power rivaling the two.
Not sure how much this holds since the continuity of the Challenge Battles isn’t exactly clear-cut (it is DLC).

@@somacruzmiroku I'm pretty chill with P3 and P4. I also felt like the only reason I might not like the hype for Joker because:
He was designed to look and he cool. "Rebel" style. So obviously Smash gets Joker and not two much more normal looking dudes.
Also because Joker is Joker. The story gets kinda wacky. There's Chad Yu and then there's Joker who's edgy and summons Satan to fight God.
I love how they include Makoto spinning his evoker before summoning his Persona. It gives me badass P3 Nostalgia.
Does this mean you'll be able to fight Joker in future Persona games? Now THAT would be truly intimidating.

There's hope for you, friend. The models are all ready for P3, P3D came out and its in the same engine, and all the models are up to scratch. Atlus seems ready than ever to remake P3, at least.

Be in mind that both original Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES, you can't control your party members except yourself. You can however in Persona 3 Portable but you have to manually set them to Direct Command in Command Settings while in battle.

@@OriginalGameteer dont forget Maria (Kasumi) and Vohu Manah (Maruki). It was taken into consideration that Atlus uses the enhanced versions as the new canon. Kind of a good guess of the possible conpendium; since Makoto's is based on the movie and Yu's based on the Dojima household and Marie.
I imagine the next line canon mainline protagonist is a girl, her Persona is a wind/healer or booster type in media. Like Ren/Joker, she have a dormant personality outside dialogue choices; a songstress and she's a 1st year high in story beginning.

@@OriginalGameteer also Makoto focuses on simple tactics as during the tine of P3 release (2006), most of the tactics and skills are kind of simple and straightforward, like charge and concentrate. For Yu, most of his tactics are advanced like brainwash due to the improvement during P4 release (2008), even more in Golden (2012). Best guess is that if Ren is a challenge battle boss, his tactics is also complicated. The compendium is mostly based on the media and canon story (includes enhanced story), so Morgana, Akechi, Kasumi and Maruki's max rank Personas is a good choice.

I like the fact that Minato has Siegfried and Attis, implying he "formed an unbreakable bond" with Maiko, the 6 year old girl with family problems and either Yuko or Koromaru. I wonder how's Maiko doing with her mother after all these years, thinking about Maiko's future due to her short age is my headcanon on why he has her SL's persona with him
I think its canonical that all protagonists form all bonds.
It is, but that's mainly why i'm making an emphasis on the "unbreakable bond" rather than on maxing the links. I could perfectly see Minato, because of his personality, relating better to a dog than to a personor a girl, and because of his past, relating to Maiko, considering he lost both his parents and Maiko was about to lose hers.
That particular two bonds make sense for him as his picks.
It's also the personas he used in the movies
Almost all Personas Minato used here are from the movie. Heck the sword he used is from the movie.

I feel like they should make these two boss fights way harder, like the difficulty of lavenza or the demifiend from smt v, they feel like normal shadows. Either that or Makoto and Yu get to take their team to the battle.
We get shadows from p1 and 2 but can't fight their protagonist ok ATLUS

I feel as if Makoto/Minato and Yu were being called at some point in time out of their timelines to help the Phantom Thieves Makoto/Minato is supposed to help make their resolves stronger emotionally as S.E.E.S. had to do for themselves Yu's purpose is instead of just reaching out to the truth also guide them to the truth as well to help make their choices in reality much clearer as Yu had to for the investigation club at the ending point in their timeline I believe Makoto's/Minato's and Yu's purpose of battling with the Phantom Thieves to make sure they're decisions are clear and making sure they're on the right path

I see it more as reflections of the characters that the Velvet Room conjured up. Narukami and the P3 protag have way more personas than the 3-4 they maybe cycle through the entire battle.
