    Just bought the 6-speed manual premium trim in soul red crystal metallic (best red color among all competitors). I am in love with the car. It is really really nice. The interior feels like an entry-level luxury car with soft-touch leather surfaces, and the performance is next-level compared to my corolla before this.

    If there's one thing i can't stand it's glossy black plastic.
    - Looks cheap
    - Scratches (show) easily
    - Dust magnet
    - Fingerprint magnet
    It's just overall bad.
    The rest of the interior looks great though!

      I just bought a 3 yesterday. Drove a Jetta before hand and I’m glad I got the 3. The Jetta isn’t a bad car! It’s nice. But the 3 has a nicer interior (little bit smaller) and way better driving dynamics.

    • @katiecannon8186
      @katiecannon8186 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Jetta versus Mazda 3 sedan: I prefer the Mazda.
      VW GTI versus both the Mazda 3 sedan & hatch, I prefer the GTI.
      GTI S trim is around $31,000. So price wise, it’s around the same as the Mazda Carbon trim.
      Put the steering into “sport” & suspension in regular. And you have a great steering feel and great wide quality.
      Anyway, my son has the Mazda 3 Carbon sedan. Great car.
      I have the GTI. I much prefer it.
      If you go down on the Mazda trim, then I really don’t think there’s any real competition out there.
      You loose some safety features & leather seats.
      But you keep the great Mazda naturally aspirated engine. And superior driving dynamics versus Toyota Corolla and, in my opinion, Honda Civic.
      And also the Jetta.

    A note about 9:12. I'm pretty sure the main benefit of adaptive headlights is that it senses other cars in front of you and only illuminates certain LEDs in your high beams to avoid dazzling others while giving you better visibility everywhere else

    • @mattb9748
      @mattb9748 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I could be wrong but on my 2023 (US model) 'adaptive' means they turn w/the steering wheel and there's also auto high beam capability that seems to be entirely-on or entirely-off (not selective parts of the high beam). I have yet to see it do anything other than all-on/off.

    • @alexChook
      @alexChook 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the confusion is there is something called Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) in some US models and another thing called Adaptive LED Headlights (ALH). Maybe you guys don't get ALH in US? Normally the term 'adaptive headlights' refers to ALH on mazda website, online and in the car manual

    • @MDQDZINE
      @MDQDZINE 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ALH type headlights were illegal in the US. No confusion because the manual and the website for the US don't mention ALH as there is no reason to. So confusion would only be for people who look at Mazdas available in other countries.

    • @alexChook
      @alexChook 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MDQDZINEstill not called 'adaptive headlights' so confusion can clearly happen especially on a platform like TH-cam which is not limited to a US audience.

    How is the rattle and do the breaks wear out quickly? I heard that there is rattling but maybe they improved that in 2024? How does it take bumps? I like the lever shift option bc i have that on my altima, but the direction is flipped. That will be weird at first. I want a Lexus RCF but too much money. Ok u touched on the suspension. Thx. I need to test drive this biatch. Let me know ab rattling. On those rear view shots..maybe move it so we see past the c pillars or beyond the.. And that gloss black gets all scratched up btw. My least favorite thing about Mazda 3 is the cheap looking plastic infotainment screen plopped on top of the dash. It distracts from the road and there's no way to fold it down or to hide it. I would like to see Mazda make a far more discreet infotainment screen integrated INTO the dash. Better yet, just give us a USBC port somewhere in the dash so we could use our smartphones for navigation. I'd also like to see a lower beltline and narrower C pillars in the next iteration.
