Versailles is so incredibly beautiful! I waited for hours for a chance to tour the inside. One could spend days there in order to really take in everything. ❤
You are a master story teller, Stephanie. I hope that when LaLande is completely finished that you will be the tour guide throughout all of its magnificent rooms, entertaining your lucky guests. The chapel restoration is very exciting to me, too. What a gift you are offering to have it strong, sturdy and beautiful for the future.
Stephanie that was the very best of Stephanie and Philip, Tis truly wonderful , I am so thrilled for you all regarding the Chapel ! Stars x it is simply wonderful and I am so thrilled to be a tiny part in the restoration of Chapel x Adore watching your journey xxx much love Josie x
Stephanie, you have the ability of making everything so interesting and engaging. I really enjoyed this vlog, so amazing. And your blue coat❤❤❤ Thanks!
Loved seeing this part of Versailles. Stephanie you should check out the "Blühende Barock" in Ludwigsburg Germany, it's a palace build in the "style" of Versailles by the Kings of Württemberg, luckily it survived the war nearly intact and with practictly all it's furniture (only the beds went missing after it had been stored for safety reasons during) It's absolutly stunning. I went there quite often because I grew up in the region, but I always saw new things and heard great stories from the guides.
@@YIM-tr5gt thing is, once it is built it would be a complete waste of all that sacrifice to shut it up and forget about it, or to pull it down. If France can make some money out of its history, then fair play. Every country has buildings like Versailles, and every country is stuck with the question of how to make them pay for themselves.
Stephanie, the most precious experience I take from this vlog is how great, wonderful and gracious Our God is.. Blessing to you and yours, especially at this momentous time of the year. ❤❤❤
I think you’ve found a new calling (or at least a new channel); a history channel. Your narration was done wonderfully. I usually hate documentaries but this had the right pace.
Oh how exciting that was! I have been hoping for more travel, especially Versailles. Shops so festive and mouth watering. Thanks for the fascinating history of Madame DuBari. I have lovely memories of being there. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for sharing your trip to Versailles. I loved it when I visited a few years ago. Sadly I didn’t walk through the town and after seeing all the wonderful shops I really regret that. Love the Christmas decorations!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you for sharing Philip's mum's Cake Day gift!!! Yes, very interesting lineage and strange Courtesan rule of adulterous wife!? Incroyable!❤
I’m so glad you took us to Versailles. I loved learning about his mistress. Her rooms were absolutely beautiful! And, all the little shops. Christmas is a wonderful time of year. I love the shop windows and decorations. Lots of love from Florida ♥️🏰🇫🇷🐶
Thank you for a wonderful tour, Versailles is on by bucket list, but there is a good chance that I will not get there, so I really appreciate your tour.
What a stunning trip! Thank you for sharing xx Stephanie tell the truth! How many times have you look at photos of Lancelot and wanted to go home to him! 😉😘😘🥰🐾🥰
Hi All, Thanks for the brief tour of the RENOVATED Apartment of Louis XV's MISTRESS at the Chateau de Versailles, Madame Dubarry. Though the main room was white and trimmed in gold, I am happy to see that the rest of the rooms in the apartment still maintained vivid colors of the day. The tour of the shops in Versailles makes me want to get there again, it's been to many years to count since I visited Versailles long ago. Mark & Scott
I have watched the vlog twice! Love love watching and hearing your amazing tour! Everything you do Stephanie is done with such passion! ❤️❗️ Greetings from Poland!
Thank you Stephanie, I’ve been a fan since you began, but I’m not rich so I can’t afford to become a patron. I’ve spent 14 years mostly in the hospital with one stupid heath issue after another. Your channel but mostly your spirit has brought me such joy and picked up my sometimes gloomy days. It’s been so exciting watching everything grow and expand. It was a dream that never happened to see France. Thank you for sharing with me. I often pretend you send these videos just to me to make me happy. I love that I get to see another beautiful Christmas at the chateau. It’s all just so beautiful I often tear up. MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 from my first Christmas out of the hospital in 12 years!!! My friend is bringing me a little Christmas tree I’m going to make paper decorations. 🎉again thank you for being such a lovely person MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄
Along with her untimely and tragic death at age 50, the life story of Madame du Barry and her rise from less than stellar circumstances to become a king's mistress living in luxury at Versailles reminded me of a similarly fateful and well-known life story nearly two hundred years later in Argentina that ended from cancer at the young age of 33 at the Casa Rosada, That larger-than-life figure was of course Eva Peron. Thank you for the tour and revealing insight into Madame du Barry's extraordinary life.
That apartment was really nice I love the paneled walls and scale and height of the ceilings. The dining room is my favorite room the green is calming, and the blue bathroom is really nice too.
I’m going to Versailles in May and this video just added to the anticipation! Thank you for the tour of du Barry’s apartment as I’m not sure we’ll be able to tour it ourselves. 🤍
I am such a history buff and just love the French history. Going on this tour with you is so exciting. Thank you Oh my goodness> I have heard of all the sweets you can get in Europe. I'd either be a diabetic or 300 lbs lol
Thanks for including us on your visit! ❤
Thank you for taking us to Versailles. It is gorgeous and the village is quite beautiful as well. ❤
Love the tours but they are always so much better with your little history lessons that accompany them. Thank you. ❤
Happy birthday to Philipp’s mother. It is amazing being able to spend such a monumental birthday together and lovely to celebrate our parents.

Couldn’t agree more with both of the previous comments! Thank you❤❤❤
Versailles, shops, sweets...who could ask for anything more?❤
The shops and displays are very beautiful, and the food on offer amazing. It makes our town offerings look very pedestrian.
Versailles was beautiful, it's so lovely to see these magnificent places that I will never get to visit in person, thank you for the journey xxx
Thank you, Stephanie and Philip. That was a wonderful tour!
Really enjoyed hearing this history and seeing the apartments. Loved this episode!

Beautiful for sure, but I can’t shake that feeling about citizens of France were starving at the same time.
