Much respect, Stephanie. I don't know how you do it because preparing, filming, and editing are tough, time-consuming gigs. Your enthusiasm and dedication are admirable. Well deserved credit to you.
Stephanie, your enthusiasm and upbeat personality is just contagious 😊😊and your work ethics is amazing. I am so glad that I started watching you when you started vlogging and I’ve loved every you have done.
You know what always amazes me, Stephanie you always just let the information flow from all you have studied. Your stage presence is impeccable! I taught and directed theatre for 13 years so things like articulation and projection and stage presence always impress me. 😂😂😂
I would be surprised if Stephanie had not also studied ballet. Her hand gestures, posture, carriage, and deportment are graceful, lovely... exquisite!! 💃
Wow that hotel is fabulous. I’m so glad they let you show us the royal suite - it’s such a treat to get a behind the scenes tour from a hotel concierge.
...and just before Stephanie stepped into the suite I caught a glimpse of the famous portrait (perhaps a print) of Empress Elisabeth of Austria... better known as "Sisi", and also Queen of Hungary. She was depicted in a series of historical romance movies by the adorable actress Romy Schneider, who played a bubbly, vivacious darling and very blonde Sisi. The real Sisi was a brunette who spent at least an hour brushing and braiding her hair daily (with help of course). The gown she is wearing is exquisite with little sparkling stars all over it.
It's so cool that the hotel will take the time and allow a private tour of the royal suite. I sometimes wonder how she goes about convincing them to do so.
What a treat! Thank you for the history and architecture tour, and especially the behind the scenes at the opera. Most of us will never experience a box at the theater, but now we’ve had a glimpse!
See, what other vlog would you get such an array of subject matter. Daily life at a chateau, renovation, decoration, cute puppy, cute boyfriend, cute cousin, beautiful friendships, gardening, sewing, cookery, DIY AND travel and culture? I love Dans’ vlogs, but there are only so many times you can watch someone chuck bits of a building out a window!
I was in the south of France for Christmas but my luggage was sent to Vienna. Apparently it had a wonderful time. I received it back a day and a half later.
Thank you for sharing your travels Stephanie! You have such Joie de Vivre, almost childlike in your sense of wonder and delight at all you see and do. Don’t ever change as you light up people’s lives. I know behind the scenes you work hard to produce and edit your vlogs and I’m sure undertake research to provide information so thank you again for your work. And have a wonderful time in Vienna with Philip and Chantelle and Stephen.
The moment you went into the Imperial Palace I started to smile and didn't stop till the very end. That was so fun and exciting and informative! Thank you so much for taking us with you!
The stone! The stone! The stone! Oh my gosh! What a treat getting to see all of those luxurious marbles. So many of which one never gets to see nowadays as they were all mined out. Love love love this tour of the hotel.
According to National Public Radio's Tom Huizenga, "Puccini's La Fanciulla del West (Girl of the Golden West), is his best, least-known opera. It premiered Dec. 10, 1910 at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, with conductor Arturo Toscanini leading a starry cast including Enrico Caruso, Emmy Destinn and Pasquale Amato." When you said "spaghetti western", I didn't realize you meant a literal "miner, forty-niner." Stephanie, I wish you had given us the full reveal on the dress, especially after your Uncle Steve's compliment. I loved the tour. The Royal Suite and function rooms were beautiful. Safe travels! ❤ from TX!
Wow, impressive. You ought to have a cloche at Lalande with petit fours in them and a little chest of drawers like that for your guests Stephanie. Love the dressing gown by the way. You look lovely in everything!
Oh Stephanie I really ,really enjoyed coming with you all. When your uncle said he was tired at breakfast and lent on Phillip ,I could see Amaury in his face ,such a lovely family . You do deserve everything you have . Thankyou 🤗
Stephanie, please model/show us your outfits when you are dressed up. We enjoy seeing all of you dressed up. Lovely Vienna video. Empress Sissi is a fantastic movie, too. 😊
Just a heads up, put an old blanket over the windshield of your vehicle at night and it will prevent the car windshield from ice buildup. Wow, what a lovely hotel you're in!
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. It has to be said that as beautiful as Vienna is. Tatinette’s red dress at the opera is worth mentioning as well. So beautiful!
I travel with No one who would get all excited with all the beautiful old places. This is one of so many reasons I'm here still. The way you get excited and dress the part, love the robe. Enjoy your time and hope we get to see more!
Thank you for sharing your travels with us. This is the only way I will ever see things like this. I love all the details in the history of the palace.
New Year's Eve &/or New Year's Day is not rung in properly without listening to Johann Strauss' Blue Danube Waltz, and other lovely waltzes and polkas, etc. ...by watching The Vienna Philharmonic with the beautiful Vienna State Ballet at the gorgeous Musikverein concert hall... and other sundry beautiful outdoor settings for the ballet dancers (filmed earlier in the year in warmer months). I also love watching the world-famous Riding School where the amazing and marvelous Lippizaner Stallions perform at the Palace at Schonbrunn. It doesn't feel like a fresh new start for the New Year until I've waltzed around the room with a glass of champagne to a Strauss waltz!! 💃
Omgoodness, I think that dressing gown (and nightgown) is the most beautiful - and perfect - thing you've ever worn! (And you wear beautiful things all the time)
😊Yes...wholeheartedly agree!!! 🤍💙That ruffled Victorian wrapper was quite spectacular over her silky, elegant negligee💙🤍. It beautifully highlighted her fabulous femininity. It was a grand garment perfectly fitting for a 👑princess in a Viennese palace. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
One of the best ever! The hotel is spectacular but there are hardly words for the Royal Suite ..absolutely sumptuous! Seems well worth the massive effort to get there. I'm going to rewatch right now. Thank you!
Stephanie, thank you for walking us through the history of this magnificent hotel!! Simply fascinating!! I'm happy for your Aunt to be able to see her life-long dream come to pass!! Enjoy your travels!! 🇺🇸
Thank you for taking us along on your vacation. I would never know these places existed if it wasnt for your channel. Also I always love a history lesson. I loved the opera house too.
Oh Stephanie, thank you for bringing your formidable talents and interests and presentation skills to my doorstep. You are a joy to me, and I cant believe I get to follow you and your home and travel vlogs which are so beautifully curated and edited, and the content which can bring tears to the eyes, such as your current video on the Imperial does for me. And that really is due to you and your ability to share your fascination.
I have always wanted to go to Vienna, Stephanie, but it will likely never come to pass. That's OK thought , because your tour was extraordinary. All I could have hoped for. Thank you!.🇨🇦
This brought me back to my 2006 trip to Vienna. But while I stay at a beautiful hotel called the Altstadt, I can now kick myself for not going to the imperial hotel or the opera house, which was closed for the season when we were there in July. You make these trips so vivid and real for those of us are watching, and all I could think about was how much fun it would be to hang out in Vienna with Phillip Stephanie and her auntie and uncle! I'm experiencing your videos in a completely random way allowing the algorithm to throw up whatever so I know this is history but still so much fun to watch
I always ALWAYS learn sooo much when I watch you in your travels!!! And your Aunt and Uncle are just such fun loving and happy people - I adore them!! Poor Phillip didn't want to be a race car driver and I'm so glad he handled the icy road with no crashes!!! I look forward to seeing the rest of your Viennese adventures!!!
What a spectacular hotel. I love how you two with your Aunt & Uncle love so much of the common things. ❤. Your aunt looks beautiful in that red dress. I love it.
Yes! 💯% agree. Chantel was ravishing in red💋 & Stephen was dapper in his elegant evening suit. 🥺Too bad we didn't get a 👀full glimpse of Stephanie & Philip in their glamorous regalia too. Could you imagine Amaury at the opera!? 🤫It just doesn't seem his thing. They're very fortunate to be able to 🛄 travel with like minded souls, esp. who are so simpatico. It's lovely to share exciting events with loved ones. The four of them, incl. Philip, have such stylish champagne taste🥂. They are all 🥰blessed to have each other🫂. 🤩We are blessed they share their love, fellowship, & ✨️world class level✨️ experiences with the lot of us. 😘 I'm perfectly content as an armchair traveler 🗺〰️living vicariously through their 💫 amazing adventures❤. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Oh, could I have a friend like you are, always interested and laughing! I love your vlogs. They are heartwarming for me, esspecially this one.. I am from Austria... 😘😘😘Love from Styria
Vienna is a beautiful city. I visited it twice during winter with snow. The hotel was just exquisite and the royal suite was stunning. I had chandelier envy seeing the bar area.
Bravo and Than You! Such enormous fun! You manage to make the process of learning about history and culture a delightful experience. Although I have to say that the enormous swan faucets in our bathroom at the Ritz in Paris were pretty wonderful. I could not believe that I was actually standing in a hotel bathroom taking picture of a faucet for those at home. I have never been to Vienna and had a ball watching you enjoy it. And one can almost FEEL Phillip soaking it all in and filing away ideas and adaptations, which is why he is such a grand travelling companion, along with your extraordinary aunt and uncle.
Wow, Wow, Wow! This was simply wonderful - you are amazing Stephanie, especially as you have to come home after a wonderful night at the Opera to edit a vlog for us - before going to bed. Your commentary was so superior to any travel show - I wish I could hop on a plane right now and travel to Vienna for several nights in that spectacular hotel. I live in the spectacular Deep South of New Zealand and the highlight of my day is coming home from work to watch your daily Vlog. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤
Another fabulous episode. Thank you so much. Love the historical narratives that you provide and the enthusiasm. You and Phillip seem to have a really lovely relationship. Age is only a number and it does not define who you are, what you are capable of and how you feel. I think of Joan Collins and her husband, Percy. He is 32 years younger and they have been married for almost 22 years and happily married still. That is what matters. Vienna seems to be a place to visit :)
Stephanie! Thank you so much for taking us along on this beautiful tour, history lesson, and yes..... another glimpse at what your Aunt T is wearing next! (My mother was a designer in the 50’s ... I am always grinning when your Aunt walks in dressed to the 9’s.... I can hear my mother’s assessment of how well she looks, and exactly why! Right down to the lips color! 😊) I stayed in that grand palace years ago.... I so enjoy The elegance of living delighted by the artful expressions of life.... that now seem to be; unimaginably .... hood-e’s!! 😜 Thank you so much; you and Phillip... for taking such notice to the art, architecture, craftsmanship, and social settings that are pure delight! What a treat!! And; Stephanie.... not everyone can go so seamlessly from a discussion on pig-trotters to the opera with an apparent ease !! I could hear my father (looking up from his drafting board) saying, “Yes; Joanie; remember .... true grace can walk anywhere... and without so much as a smudge!” Then he would cheerfully smile 😊 I sure miss he and my mom! Such lovely people! Cheers to all! Thank you for always making such thoughtful videos! Love the interesting work on the chapel! Just extraordinary skill and artistry!
Oh, oh, oh, thank you so much for sharing this with us!! ❤️🫶❤️ Some years ago I was invited to Vienna, to give a seminar about sculpting caricatures, which is a specialty of mine. Showing us places many of us would never be able to see and explaining the history, decor, architecture, food, cultures of the times then and now, with such descriptive ease, & clarity is such a treat, Stephanie. And Phillip, with the camera and everything you do to keep things together and moving along...bravo! You two are quite the team and your viewers are actually blessed to be able to share so many experiences. Many thanks!
Thank you for letting us join you all at the most luxurious of hotels and for sharing the tiny golden nuggets of its past. Stephanie's dressing gown was terribly chic and elegant but I chuckled when she was upstaged by tan tan Steven in his white towelling bath robe matching slippers and black 'bumble bee' socks!😆
I love how much fun your aunt and uncle are...they are treasures!
I so agree.
Me too
Much respect, Stephanie. I don't know how you do it because preparing, filming, and editing are tough, time-consuming gigs. Your enthusiasm and dedication are admirable. Well deserved credit to you.
Very well spoken
Just an amazing production, all created while she is “vacationing.”
Stephanie, your enthusiasm and upbeat personality is just contagious
😊😊and your work ethics is amazing. I am so glad that I started watching you when you started vlogging and I’ve loved every you have done.
Couldn’t agree more! Thank you Stephanie.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You are always soooo well prepared! It looks that the four of you are having a great time!

Your aunt looks so pretty at the opera in her red dress.
I thought so too!!
Ditto!
You know what always amazes me, Stephanie you always just let the information flow from all you have studied. Your stage presence is impeccable! I taught and directed theatre for 13 years so things like articulation and projection and stage presence always impress me. 😂😂😂
Stephanie is a trained opera singer and it shows. Her deportment is exceptional. So graceful. ❤❤❤
Yes she’s excellent in presentation.
I would be surprised if Stephanie had not also studied ballet. Her hand gestures, posture, carriage, and deportment are graceful, lovely... exquisite!! 💃
❤Beautiful work…I ordered the book Reluctant Empress!!!
And her vocabulary is vast and creative!
Wow that hotel is fabulous. I’m so glad they let you show us the royal suite - it’s such a treat to get a behind the scenes tour from a hotel concierge.

oops! I wrote this before I'd finished watching the whole video!
It's so cool that the hotel will take the time and allow a private tour of the royal suite. I sometimes wonder how she goes about convincing them to do so.
The opera house was like something out of an old movie. It didn't disappoint at all.
What a treat! Thank you for the history and architecture tour, and especially the behind the scenes at the opera. Most of us will never experience a box at the theater, but now we’ve had a glimpse!
Stephanie you so deserve all of your success. Thank you for taking us along! Such a treat!

Oh my! 52 years ago ! My honeymoon….loved every moment we spent in Vienna! ❤❤
The dressing gown is like looking at something Marie Antoinette would wear! Absolutely gorgeous!
I was in the south of France for Christmas but my luggage was sent to Vienna. Apparently it had a wonderful time. I received it back a day and a half later.
😉😂🤣
ohh there is no other storyteller that engrosses and captivated the listener as well as Steph... the Sisi depiction was great!
Thank you for all you do; for taking us along on these fancy adventures, and for doing and sharing your research on these exquisite places.
My husband retires this year and Vienna is on our travel list. And now, so will this hotel!
Oh Stephanie I absolutely adore your dressing gown that even matched the interior of your Imperial hotel room!!!
Your aunt is such a gem Stephanie
How beautiful, Stephanie you really do take us along with you. That hotel was spectacular!

Beautiful! And please remember to tip your hotel staff my friends.
.......we only give the carrier or the housekeeper tips 😊. Some leaves generous tips only at the end of the visit....generally it's around 2€ .
It was jaw droppingly beautiful. The kind of stones I imagine we will see in the Paradise to come.
The hotel and opera house were spectacular ❤❤❤❤❤

Do they have any pictures of what the stables looked like then? Would truly love to see them!!
The stuff of dreams.Stefanie you are my favorite person on the internet.

Looks like she just remembers all the information which is truly impressive.
That Hotel was stunning. What beautiful architecture absolutely breath taking.
What a truly exquisite hotel. How the other half lived eh!!
🥂🍾🥰🙅♀️🙅♀️
Not showing at all, I’m living vicariously thru you. Thank you.
The anecdote about when The Queen stayed was amazing - probably one of my all time favourite anecdotes since watching The Chateau Diaries since 2020.
Thank you for sharing your travels with us. This is the only way I will ever see things like this. I love all the details in the history of the palace.
Your Auntie looks So Elegant in her Red Gown. She's a vision . .

For a moment I thought Sara, the lady who showed you the suite, was Nati. Am I the only one?
No, I had the same though when I saw her ponytail from the side.
It was my immediate thought when we first saw Sara.
same
I said that too- did a double take.
Me too
Stephanie, you outdid any other vedieo. You and Philip continue to out do yourselves. Bravo
