man I couldn't name a singular best northlane groove, they have so many good songs. within my top 5 favourites are definitely Quantum flux / dream awake, and this album is one of my favourites across genres (and I listen to many different genres)
I agree. Adrian had soul, had a message, he was a real frontman. His presence was otherworldly and he wanted to make this world a better place. Not to mention his screams were full of emotion, which is what music is all about. Marcus is nothing more than a good vocalist. Talented for sure, but no legend material... and the new album sucks. I tried to like it, listened to it over and over again, but it doesn't make my soul wander out to the far reaches of the universe, floating among all kinds of matter, light and color. Northlane was a journey, now they're just a shadow of their old selves.

All Northlane is amazing. Their EP was great, their debut was FANTASTIC, and Singularity really brought out the musicality each individual has. Pure musical gold. Original, beautiful, emotional... Not sure what else you want from a band.

In either case, Northlane is a breath of fresh air. One of the few just making it the old fashioned way: personal identity that only certain people can appreciate. Not a coverall formulation of song/vocal structure meant to be liked by as many people as possible. They still have conviction and I appreciate that. See you in Houston northlane!

BMTH rock this scene becausse they're creative, they're talented, their sound is unique and not only unique but it's good. Each time they release an album it's something fresh but it's still good. Their sound has been different on every album and every album they absolutely kill it. They're amazing musicians and song writers. You can't deny that.
