Maximus didn't even limit anything because the signal didn't even cross the threshold, all you did was make some random balance in volume on your own song (and some stereo imaging), the only thing that actually did some "limiting" was the clipper
@@XDizzleMusic one of my points was also that you made random balances in your own song, like you increased the lowend, do not do that on the master, go to your faders or mix and increase the lowend there because it shows that you are not happy with the balance, it shows you are making something then at the last stage you are completely undoing what you did also the crossover points will give you phase issues
@Faizeen Hendricks yes to the mastering engineer, the producer is someone different he/she should have a "perfect" mix to begin with, the mastering engineer being the person not emotionally attached to the song will enchance it

brother, you used that equalizer and gave it more gain and then you used tape saturation, you set the tape saturation with the gain increased on the equalizer, as soon as you are removing the equalizer the input volume for the tape saturation has certainly dropped. Won't this affect the tape saturation response once the input gain has changed?

Correct I did not use it to limit.
