Great story. I now know why he wears #8. Hope he wins a Super Bowl someday.
I've found Kirk's story of his faith inspiring. I live in Northern Ireland and am a BIG American Football 🏈 fan but I'm not a a soccer fan which is pretty unusual for men over here across the pond. I am a Christian and the thing I I notice when I hear Christian NFL players like Kirk Cousins playing in the NFL talking about their Christian faith is the fact that they openly talk about striving to reach and win the Superbowl which, like most NFL games is played on Sundays. I have heard from other Christian ministers/pastors that sport on Sundays,like non essential work is contrary to God's word. Over the years I have played and attended American Football 🏈 games on a Sunday because as it is a VERY minority sport over here in Northern Ireland it's the only day games can be played. I get confused with how Christians in the USA have no issues with Sunday sport yet Christians over here in Northern Ireland do. I would love to here other Christians' view on this. Particularly Christians who are/were in a similar situation to me.
That was also my question when I was still young but a verse I've read from Colossians 2:16 caught my attention and I quoting it here verbatim. "16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day." What is more important is that we remain loyal and faithful to God everyday. Before, I have work that required my 7 days attendance per week. But God showed me that my work is my place of ministry so instead of me grumbling of having no rest day and not being able to attend my local church during Sundays I prayed that God will use me in my place of work. I shared Jesus Christ to my co-employees and by the grace of God some responded and got a personal relationship with Christ.

I heard him say that his father is his lord. David is Ezekiel in this wedding. I found a Torah with this man. I am no longer David. Ezekiel saved this temple from the draft. I respect his military service, Kirk Cousins. God Bless America. I am free with the NFL as a Protestant living under AIDS victimization in his family. Thank the Lord, Kirk Cousins is in the military with his son, Ezekiel, King David this is Israel!

Loved "kurt" in Washington and really sorry to see him go but it was best for Kirk. Wish him all the best because he is one hell of a person and pretty good at his job. Yea Snyder is still here and that sucks for us. I never miss a chance to diss little Danny.

I miss watching Kirk play 😥 But I believe that everything happens for a reason. Kirk said in his latest press conference…. As with his injury, he's trying to hold his future loosely. "It's not something you look back and say, 'Oh, in spite of that, I did this or was a part of this.' It's more of a: 'Because that happened, it made me better and enabled me to go where I want to go,'" he said. "So that's kind of the way I want to look at it. You kind of have to check back in five years and say, 'What happened?' Until then, you're just on the journey."
