In the eyes of the world, faith is stupid because people believe they can only have faith in what they see and draw conclusions on. Yes, that’s true on a level but I think God strikes the heart and just like any relationship there needs to be a level of trust and faith in the absence of concrete evidence. We have enough evidence that God is real. He just wants your heart, faith and trust in him and to act. In the absence of God, there is no significance to life. God is real, he’s not some imagination that our minds create in order to cope with reality. I believe Jesus was real, and I believe that over time time, man, lies hid the truth from people
As a Christian and a sports fan, seeing this really fills me up with joy. So many athletes and celebrities are full of pride, greed, arrogance, etc. To see some of these athletes being faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ just fills me up with joy. I have so much respect for these type of people. God bless Drew Brees! God bless everyone!

I do not believe it is acceptable to impregnate your own daughters as Lott did and certainly not to sacrifice your daughter at burnt offering as Jephthah did. I do not believe a righteous and loving god would murder innocent woman and children over a bet as he did to Job’s family. And I do not believe you can quote a conversation verbatim that happened in a cave on top of a mountain 3,000 years ago. I could go on and on and on.

i live in west virginia and during the 2016 flood that ripped us apart, drew and his team was asked if they wanted to help the flood victims or practice and they went out and helped us. I thank you drew for not only showing your faith but helping us when we needed it most 👍🙏😭 THANK YOU DREW AND SAINTS
To be honest when you look at Brees and his demeanor on and off the field, you could tell he is a believer in Christ. A very humble guy, class personified and this is coming from a Vikings fan who despises the Saints since they tried to kill old man Favre in the 2009 NFC Championship game.

It is inspiring to hear Drew share his testimony. I have been a Saints fan since I was a kid in the 80's It is awesome to see Drew and so many other Christ led players on the team make the team name have true meaning. 2 Corinthians 5:7. How so many people in my life including myself have needed to hear those words so many times. I was once an athlete and loved to go mountain biking in my 20's and 30's but about three years ago, I was diagnosed with severe arthritis that started to attack every joint in my body. I have been on so many drugs over the past three years. The ones that have worked have had terrible side effects and the ones that didn't have any side effects didn't work. I am a husband and a father of two boys and sometimes I can feel so helpless. When I start to feel this way, I try to turn to God and get into his word. I tell myself to never lose faith. Take things one day at a time and God will be there for you. Another thing that helps is watching my favorite team, the Saints. I love it when they play well and I love it when I hear their testimonies. It is so inspiring. I also think about the players adversity throughout their lives. Some of them have come from very hard backgrounds and had to climb mountains to get where they are. It inspires me to have that same strength, battling adversity. Let us live by faith. Let us be strong with Christ. Go Saints!

That's very nice, thank you for sharing about your experience. I missed the part about turning from sin and understanding that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and his sacrifice on the cross paid the price so you could be forgiven. Asking Jesus into your heart is nice, asking to be forgiven and receive salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ is amazing and the way to become a new creation.

RedVelvetD0nut do a little research on the placebo effect. If you believe strongly enough something is real it will mentally emotionally and physically manifest itself in your brain and body. Actual physiological and biological changes in many men and woman just from water or sugar pills. People go to church and come home feeling like the have the Holy Spirit inside of them. It’s absolutely ridiculous but you could never convince them otherwise.

Well being a die hard Falcons fan since 1978, and loathing everything about NO and the Saints, I can help but have nothing but respect for Drew Brees. Can't stand the team he plays for, obviously being a Falcons fan, but more importantly, he is another brother in Christ, and watching this testimony gave me new found respect for HIM.
I appreciated his story, and thank him for his boldness and courage with his faith in Christ. All football smack talk aside, I'm happy for him that he fillowed God's calling to NO. All men in Christ have a purpose and a calling to further the kingdom of God, and testimonies like these inspire me to follow my calling. So THANK YOU Drew.
