That Saenchai highlight is super common but it really is fucking nuts. Feints with the low kick then follows up with a front jumping switch roundhouse like it's nothing. Think it was pretty early in the fight also. Absolutely wild. Would be super cool to see him do something outside of Thai Fight. His highlight reel and fight record is pretty much impeccable, but it would be interesting to see how he stacks up against other ranked Thai's as opposed to mostly unranked European and American fighters. Apparently he signed with a bareknuckle boxing promotion which is pretty fuckin weird, so I guess we'll see how that goes, not exactly what I had in mind though. Think pretty much every Muay Thai fan would be super interested to see how he does in One. Kind of shocking that they don't seem to have offered him enough money to sign with them. Hard to imagine a world where they wouldn't be interested in having him on their roster. Would draw hundreds of thousands every time he fought.
Edit: not implying Saenchai has only ever fought unranked western fighters btw. It's been a pattern over the last few years because of his position with Thai Fight, but obviously his career extends decades and includes multiple bouts with some of the best Thai boxers in the world- the vast majority of which he won.
Hes older now. He's earned the right to fight exhibition matches for $ to support his family. I dont think he has anything left to prove. The man is a living legend. He has more wins against champions foriegn or Thai than most ufc fighters have wins period
