Mathias was a great villain because even though he was a nut he was intelligent and had it together enough to be a genuine threat all to the end. If he hadn't handicapped himself by being a luddite the movie would have lasted 10 minutes
@@Heretic1981 It would have been the war flashback and Neville being dragged out of his smoldering apartment ruins for display. I find it hilarious that the new Battlestar Galactica showed the luddite way as being the ultimate answer to all of life's problems.
