This block certainly tickled my fancy, Gloria! There are still at least a couple more I have in mind. Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Very very interesting! The whole idea of SCRAPES,......I've made my quilt In squares and there for much easier to quilt! Your an inspiring talent for me as I'm now 88 and doing things a little bit at a time! Think I'll be making some microwave coziness bowls for giving! Thank you for all the ideas! Love watching you share all the ideas that you come up with! Bless you!
Hi Lea Louise, Wow your quilt looks so awesome! Love it! I’ve never made a Potato Chips quilt but I definitely try it. For some reason I’m not getting your notifications, 😢! So I’m missing some of your videos. I love your work! God Bless ❤
Sorry we're not connecting, Pam. Have you selected the TH-cam Notification Bell? That's supposed to do the trick. So glad you enjoyed this video! Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
That's awesome, Diann! Where in Africa do they go? You'll need to do the wave quilting on an a quilt just for you. 😊 Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Lea, thanks for showing us this method. I’m still trying to get the hang of free motion quilting! I have a question. Do you have your feed dogs up or down for this method? I feel so out of control with them down. Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to share this information. Can I ask why you dont use a hopping/darning foot with the feed dogs lowered for quilting like this?
That's a great option and prefect for those familiar with FMQ. Many of my viewers are beginners so I try to show the easiest methods. On another note my machine has been having trouble with the FMQ so I've stayed away from that. It was just returned from the shop this week and I'm hoping that was fixed. If so, you'll see more in the future. Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
@InspiredQuiltingbyLeaLouise thank you for the response. I just have to tell you that I really like your content. The way you explain and encourage is terriffic. If you ever have a mind to collect an awesome vintage machine for fmq, maybe look for a singer 301. 😁
It's a Viking/Husqvarna and I love it, Barbara! Originally made in Sweden, it's been considered one of the best available for decades, even going back to my mother! Unfortunately the company has been sold and moved to another country. The quality is now greatly diminished which is quite sad. I need a new machine and need to decide what brand to switch to. Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Thanks!
Thanks for your generous gift, Dianne! Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting,

Love those potato chip quilts. As the final destination of my tops are Africa, I only make the tops. But the wave stitches sure looks fun.
