On your last hotel, I think it was 6500 a month plus electric, so maybe another 1000 baht more at the most, I think that was an excellent deal! I wasn't too hip on those hard chairs for sitting, but just place a pillow down on one and then you have some padding. Great view from the balcony, lots of activity to see but my only concern would be how noisy it might be at night when trying to sleep if you take the odd night off from going out? Nice to simply take the lift downstairs and be at Wetherspoons for breakfast. For what would amount to around $200 USD per month with electric, a damn good deal! Appreciate you checking these types of accommodations out and giving us a look.

    • @thehenge1
      @thehenge1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@8 baht per unit for electricity you can double or triple that estimate. Still a good deal, but not that good.

Stayed at Rcon in the past. Yes its dated but clean. Some chairs in some rooms have the cushions lol. Go high for less noise or a room at back rather than front.. Last cpl times i stayed across the road in the penthouse, easy rcon bar.. Great location.

All reviews have been great. I like the distressed feal of The R-CON its definitely someplace to consider. To bad there's no pool but it's easy enough to travel to Jomtien Beach which I do everyday anyway. TY

    Another informative video Daz👍🏻
Quite a few guys get scammed by not realising there is a joiner fee if you bring a guest back to the room (even st 🙄)
It could be an idea to do a list of rip off hotels that do this.
I would like to start the list by saying Page10 hotel on soi 10 charges a joiner fee👍🏻
Keep up the good work. Much appreciated👍🏻

Yes, I have stayed at the Adelphi on occasions, one time for one week, we paid 700 baht per night in low season! Many other hotels local to this one also with similar prices and decent quality! The Royal Den, why wouldn't you book 1 month for 5,000 baht? That would be the price for 7 days, all bar 100 Baht! In other words 30 days for the price of just barely over 7!

  • @PREPFORIT

I like that last place you visited. As I have said before. I don't care if it is an older place or a bit dated.
When I am in Pattaya The hotel is a Private place to sleep and shower a few times a day, A balcony to enjoy a morning coffee is a bonus.
Of course, it would be different if I was looking for a condo to enjoy my retirement.
234 CAD a month is a great deal.!!!

The thing everyone must check is the bed. Most hotels have very hard mattresses because they have been there for years. Adelphi hotel is comfortable and I have stayed with them twice this year. However management is terrible. They wanted to charge me an extra day to keep my baggage there for only three hours after checkout (12pm). Also I had booked an extra day with them one time as my flight was changed. They wouldn’t off me a day’s credit, etc. There are some bargain hotels because let’s face it. You will hardly ever be in your room. Thanks for sharing.

Been there 7 times. Never risked putting a toe in the sea yet. Also be sure not to walk in the flood water on the streets. It's mixed with the sewer water.

the room in the royal den for 5K is an utter steal. i like the age and the layout of the room. i would be in for even 6k. and the electricity would be next to nuthing since it would just be a sleep house for my luggage...lol
    luggage dont need AC. lol
