    All three hotels are reasonably priced especially even during high season given the central location in Pattaya. Thx again Daz!

    I stayed at the KTK in June and Im staying again at Xmas. The bed was super comfy and rooms cleaned everyday. I stayed in the Deluxe room which was quite big but very small balcony enough room for one person really. Bike taxi's 50 yards down the road so easy to get into town and 15 mins walk to Soi Bukhao. My No.1 Hotel in Patts at the moment

    I usually stay at the Siam View and the staff are great the rooms are clean the Cafe/Resturant which is part of the Hotel is great value the food is well priced and very tasty they also offer room service for the meals which is also a great price. One of the good things about this hotel is the location is great to Beach Road and all the Soi's

    In August I stayed at the Sureena hotel on Soi 13/2. I paid in advance so I couldn't check out after the first night. It was horrible at 700 baht per night if I stayed for a month. I've learnt by my mistakes and next time I will do what I used to do and turn up without reservations. I was looking at the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 at 1000 baht a night.

    Thanks for the review Daz, I recently stayed at the Aster hotel for 3 weeks and am familiar with the area, the main problem with the 3 hotels reviewed is the walk to Pattaya Klang, the Soi is very narrow in parts and very busy with vehicles so as you mentioned a taxi / motorbike is best option to travel from those hotels. Some hotels in that area also have a shuttle service to the main locations like Terminal 21, walking street and Central Festival.

    Thanks Daz, very interesting. I had never heard of KTK, but I will check it out next time I am over. Its' prices were very good, but as I am now looking, it is amazing how the prices jump as soon as November arrives. The Centara pool in the brochures looks much bigger as they always photograph it from the far corner against the rock wall. In the video, I thought KTK looked the best to me.

    The first hotel you didn`t say if they had a coffee shop. Yes you can get discount if you stay 1 week/month.
    This was the usual when I stayed in Chiang Mia. I stayed in the "old city" for 800B plus had full breakfast,
    Toast,eggs,fruit,coffee and saugage or OJ. Mid Nov-mid Dec. This mountain city was perfect. 82 and low humidity.

    • @Hephaestus83

      Really depends on what you're looking for. Remember, it's a 15 minute walk to soi buakhow, tree town and LK metro from these hotels and even further to Walking Street so if you want to visit the bars and go go's around soi buakhow you might want to get a hotel near the action. I think these hotels are great if you're a soi 6 fan.

      @matthewkendall8544 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Hephaestus83 I’m still a total newbie. Everything I know about Pattaya I learned on TH-cam. I think I would be a fan of Soi 6, tree town, and Buakow

    • @Hephaestus83
      @Hephaestus83 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@matthewkendall8544 If you want to try everything Pattaya has to offer to see what you like, I'd suggest a hotel that's more in the action. Everything Pattaya has videos about hotels near Tree Town, soi buakhow and LK metro and I'd suggest to read the Pattaya Addicts forum. For my first time I went to the Page 10 hotel which is in a quiet street and is near Tree Town, LK metro, Walking Street and the beach. Soi 6 is a short baht bus or moto taxi ride from there. So it has more access to certain area's than the hotels you saw in this video.

    Some of us regular people categorize great location" as beach side or sea view. Not beer bar accessibility. Kinda disappointing standards for those prices. There are so man y accommodations in Patts, a better deal should be no problem....🙂...but still, good job, Daz - info is king...🙂

  • @captainpaddy1524
    @captainpaddy1524 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Reasonably close to Soi 6. When discussing LT with some girls, they are often more receptive when they know that you are staying at a better hotel. In most cases, 1 - 3 week rates are negotiable and some of the hotels belong to corporate groups which means that you may be able to pay for a month (or more) and move around between hotels in that group (at no extra cost). However, if you do that, inquire about the visitation policy because it widely differs.

    • @robertlomax543
      @robertlomax543 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Look at your phone charger and see what voltage it requires. Most modern ones will work on both 110 and 220. Thai jacks are designed to physically fit just about all standards. 50 Hz or 60 Hz makes no difference when dealing with small devices. The only exception is when the device uses commercial power as a time reference. I haven't seen any devices like that since the 1980s. Most devices today have their own internal quartz clock.
