Ist hotel, no safety box and 500b for additional guest according to price list =1,800b per night no breakfast.
2nd hotel, safety box monthly rate 44,000/30 =1,500b per night including breakfast or 1,800b for bigger room inc breakfast.
2nd hotel has a nicer swimming pool, if the breakfast is for 2 people then a bargain compared to number 1.
Didn't see any mention of additional guest cost for 2nd hotel.
So hotel number 2 is the better choice by far IMO.

I know it adds up, but 300 baht difference between De Bua and your target is only about $8-9 per day. The best time to rent a hotel is when its new, in terms of freshness of the furnishings, fixtures and improvements. It also has an amazing location about a block away from Soi Boomerang, and only slightly further to other night spots. It's so knew, Agoda just now lists it as a search suggestion but doesn't yet show it as a listing. Here in the USA I paid $12 the other day just for a lousy Burger King small Whopper Meal Combo. I'm more used to hotels that are this price on Agoda, but skyrocket 3 times higher for their walk-in, "rack" rate. Even at Red Planet, a real budget hotel, on occasion I've had to visit Agoda on my phone in their lobby to get a decent extension rate.

It stated 500 bht for additional guest at the Debua. All rooms at Amethyst are for 2 people, so you should be ok. I hope so. I’m staying there in Feb.

@@TheRobertino2001 Seems OK. Bit the question is if Debua charge 500 for first joiner or second joiner. Even if you book for two.

@@erikn8132 I’ve only ever paid extra when I brought 2 guests back. Most hotels are ok if it’s a double room. The Debua looks like it might be awkward, judging by that snooty receptionist. I know The Hilton are a bit sniffy about unregistered guests. Only time will tell I suppose.

Daz trying to get in these places incognito as he’s ditched the Camouflage Shorts 🤣🤣🤣
44,000THB for a 27sqm Box in the Amethyst is a complete piss take & monster rip off.
You could rent a top Condo 35sqm + for less money with every amenity going.
You would even have loads of Baht left for countless Camouflage Shorts too 🤣🤣🤣
