You do a great job presenting content that is informative and entertaining. This is a great video for newcomers planning a trip to Las Vegas to bring them up on game. Hopefully they will do research on hotel accommodations, restaurants and drinks, and entertainment so they can budget accordingly.
As a Vegas local, I can confirm! Probably the most accurate video yet! We only "do" the strip for special occasions out here... and you gotta have thick skin and a big bank account!😂
We only go down on the main strip when family, friends visit. Most visitors don’t know the original part of Vegas (Fremont) is much cheaper for food, drinks and even free live entertainment - I prefer Fremont any day over the main strip.
The Vegas Strip is not Disney World. I’ve been doing The Strip for 30 years and have learned to sidestep all the rookie issues you presented. Keep on keeping on. 😅😎

My wife decided "lets go, I'll unload on them", we sat through the 20 minute video presentation, and the minute we met individually with the salesperson she went "THIS IS A SCAM, NO ONE GETS VALUE FROM THIS" etc, just drawing out Karen from Karenkind, which is MASSIVELY out of character. She would eat a big mac when she ordered mcnuggets and be like "mistakes happen". Guess who got out of there in 25 minutes with Lakers tickets. You gotta be an asshole and you'll get the free stuff. They don't have shame, neither should you.

The $150 hold was something the Stardust was doing years ago. I literally had to jump on my father a few years ago in our room at Mirage when he opened the mini bar. I had to explain what was really happening. I always tell the Feather Girls I’m trying to decide what I want for lunch (which is true). $25 for a chicken sandwich, fries and a soda in T-Mobil. I’ve seen people carrying babies only a few weeks old on The Strip. Gotta go downtown for cheaper blackjack tables.
You are right on. Vegas is my happy place. Over 80 visits since 1977. Took a pandemic for me to miss a year from New Jersey. Value days are long gone, but compared to other cities still fairly reasonable. Helps to know how to save some $ so you have more to spend on something that means something to you. Personally I love my pool time, shows and headliners in beautiful theaters, people watching, and gamble some. Your videos are great and informative. Thank you.

I'm from Canada and they did the same to me security deposit to hold and resort fee. But when put US dollars on a Canadian card it 40% more they had my card maxed out. So make sure your ready.

We stayed at the Venetian and we paid in cash, and it was just a one time payment of $150 for accidentals they gave us our money back after we left because I called and ask them about paying it in cash because I did not want no other holds besides that we pay the resort fees off my card that was it

$36 flat for a taxi to the airport from Bellagio. I get resort fees comped. The nightly deposit thing sucks, but 2 nights in, they'll gradually refund. Tip the clerk and bellman!
We just got back from vegas and this video made me laugh because i can relate. I had not been to Vegas in years and it has gotten very expensive. $2.50 for 1 banana. We had a great time and plan on going back next year. Now we know what to expect. When people jump out offering free stuff, if you sit through their presentation just say you are leaving that night, and they will immediately leave you alone otherwise they can be pretty aggressive. 2 showgirls prayically jumped my husband. I thought it was all in fun so i took 2 pictures. My husband gave them $8 and they were not happy. Ask how much for pic upftont or say no thanks. I hear they can get pretty aggressive over money. Paying $30 per person for the buffet is insane especially when there are 3 Denny's and an Ihop on the strip. My husbsnd is still talking about his $25 burger. We laugh about it now. Be prepared for the resort fees., i was blindsided. Why dont they just charge you evetything when booking. The end result is the same. Avoid these pitfalls and you can dtill have a great time in Vegas.
I use to live in Vegas in the mid 1990's. Back then several Buffet's were $12-$20 and at the Riveria a quick snack/lunch was 75 cents for a foot long hot dog 🌭 and 25 cents for chili and 25 cents for onions. So $1.25 for big snack back in the day. Today restaurant wise ANYTHING on lunch menu for less than $7.00 and three cocktails less than $15.00

That $150 a night incidental fee had me saying....whhhhatttt? $10 for water...is that holy water? "Don't nobody touch anything in this minibar"...Lol, absolutely! $59.99 for Ciroc...where the packs of Kool-aid and those little bottles of airplane drinks. 2 hours for a presentation? Only if we're sitting on a beach in Miami (with free drinks and 10 joints of your best stuff). Cheeks...$30 for a photo? Please!...let me take the photo of them and Photoshop myself in it. Hell, they're not even real showgirls (can only image what the strip clubs charge out there). $25 Burgers....is Chef Ramsey making those burgers himself? (Guess those $9.95 steak and lobster days are dead and gone.) Fries $10? Remind me to bring my small toaster oven and a Wal-mart locator app. $25 to $50 minimum at a table?..thank God for those one-arm bandits. $85 for fruity drinks? Does a tropical beach come with that? They allow cigarette smoking (which can kill you) in hotels, but not cannabis (which is a medicinal herb)? Crazy! $2000 min for a table...Whhhaaattt? Better have some NBA/NFL ballers at that damn table. $700-$800 for a bottle of Roc? Child please...can only imagine what a bottle of bubbly cost.
