So my friend had to back out due to a personal situation….I’m terrified to go solo cause I’m gonna feel odd, but I also may need to step out of my comfort zone and do this. I have always told myself that I need to stop waiting on other people to do things in life so I guess this is my chance.
@@EzeAsuoha so I made the decision to go alone and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!! I met some people at the hotel I was staying at (Virgin Hotel) and they were in town for work (solo travelers also). We ended up going to visit various places on the strip, dining, shopping, etc. The only thing that I did solo was ride the 4 wheelers in the desert (because that was booked in advance.). Traveling solo to Vegas has really opened doors for me for solo travel and the fear of traveling alone is now gone. I am going to go back in the fall and do it all over again. 😁

Went to Vegas solo in July, not a huge party guy but it was so nice not worrying about what everyone else wanted to do and having to split stuff between everyone.
Back in the 70's I left for destinations unknown (hitchhiked)....traveled North America/Canada....well let me tell you. you cannot describe the wonderful people and experiences I had....people will pickup on you being shy, they will be kind (obviously not every one) they will pick up the tab, they will introduce you to their friends!

I planned a trip with my so called friends. They both cancelled. I’m still going. I figured if I can go on a cruise to another country by myself, then I can do Vegas by myself. I will never go with these so called friends again. They cancelled within a month of the trip. The second one cancelled within 2 weeks of the trip. I will never ask them to go cuz they will never spoil my vibe again. This is why I go solo and tell them when I get back. So anyone questioning if they should travel by themselves, go!!!!. Don’t wait for your so called friends because they will disappoint each and every time.
That is what happen to me and I do not want to lose out on the money I had spent and my trip includes a 3 day cruise when I go to the time share presentation. I am going to look at this trip as a retreat.
I’m not a party person nor a drinker but if I go out Vegas solo mode I’ll be definitely casino hopping & event activities all day. Bowling, archery, museum visits, zoo, go karting, etc… I would have a blast.

I usually go by myself and have a great time! Nothing beats just doing whatever, whenever. I have a couple friends who live out there and will hang with them for a bit and grab food, or check out a local off strip casino, but for the most part I'm on my own. I'll be back in two weeks, and my brother will actually be out there for part of that time as well, but he goes solo a lot too, so if we want to do our own things, we'll just go do our thing and meet up later.
I've never been to Vegas but thinking of going by myself for a UFC fight. None of my friends can swing it since the fight is in December. Video was super helpful thank you

Complained about everything from the price of Ubers, wanting to leave the club to go back to the room and sleep, to complaining about the weather, you name it. Made me lose my excitement for Vegas. When I would go with these people, I would end up in groups I’d meet by myself anyway so one day I said, why not go by yourself? I remember on my last trip to vegas i was going to the high roller alone and i accidentally ordered the happy hour one that has the liquor bar onboard (I’m not even a drinker guys!) I was moved to the side of the actual line and left by myself and i was curious about why i was sitting there. All the sudden this group of people (whole ass wedding party) Are behind me. I get set up in this cab with them. and they include me in their group photo. Encouraging me to enjoy some vodka with them, i down two drinks and enjoy the scenery. Thought i’d just share that, because it really is like that with the vibe in vegas, you could be set up with people in other places or backgrounds and as long as the vibe is good, everyone including you will be happy. I’m actually planning to go back to Vegas alone again mid september for 9 days. So i would like to enjoy myself like this man has.

I'm taking a trip to Vegas for a bachelor party in September and staying on the strip. However, I'm considering a solo trip there this spring to escape the crummy weather in the Midwest for a few days. I have been to Vegas many times but have not been in a long time since right before the pandemic started and have never went solo. I am considering a solo trip just because there are some things I'd like to do and I would like to try staying downtown for the first time ever and visit the mob museum and Circa. Sometimes as a single guy the solo trip seems appealing just because you want to call the shots with where you're staying and what you are doing and that isn't always possible when you go with friends or a big group of people and you have to compromise.

I took care of all expenses for my spouse and a friend all alone. I don't ever split with anyone, no need when the rooms free, no resort fees, and $100 celebration dinners
