Just found your video's...Your AWESOME!! I love the fact that you show how an average Joe would make a wood piece eg. Staining it AFTER you assemble the project. Also how to make the project with simple woodworking equipment & what equipment would elevate/ or make the project easier to build the next time!! My dad was an amazing Wood Craftsman....I lost him to cancer in 2013..I want to start making project to honor his memory/life time skills. You have helped me to look at a piece of wood without crying. Definitely looking forward to more of your prodjects !!!
I am sorry about your dad. cancer sucks. I am really touched that my video helped you in this way. I just make videos being silly and hopefully someone gets some value from them when making a woodworking project. I never expected them to be as helpful as they have been to some people. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me.
Great Vid 👍🏼 Char-crazy cooter-y board 😂 Meanwhile back in Hazzard county... Idk why that came to my head when you were trying to say charcuterie board 🤷🏼♀️
Quick tip, next time sand the whole dowel BEFORE you cut it into little pieces. That way you’ll only have to round off the ends. You also could have stained the board and the dowels first.
Thank you for the advice, Ill definitely try that. I have a kit with different sizes and one blade was supposed to be for curves but the blade bent on me right away.
lol the part where you said you weren’t ever gonna start a video by saying what tools you would use again got me to laughing and earned you a sub. Love the sense of humor lol.
😂😂😂 Thank you brother, I appreciate the encouragement. I never got a paddle like this in school but I did get some rulers across the knuckles!😂 My wife says I needed more than that but its too late. 😂😂
@@jascogoods you're welcome.. I have a question. How do you come up with the plans? Do you use Sketchup or sketch book and just figure it out? Or just trial and error?
I'm sorry I'm just seeing your comment, TH-cam was only showing me new comments until I just found the setting! I just think of the plans and use graph paper to draw them out and figure the details. normally ill look at stuff I want to build and then figure out the dimensions with my tape measure.
"And if you don't have a handsaw, I'll put a link in the description of a knitting channel you can check out." 😂
Hahaha I was afraid of getting “cancelled” for that one!!
LMAO! I was literally about to comment the same thing 😂🤣😂🤣
Where’s the link? 🤣🤣
Yeah, where TF is the link?!?
Just found your channel, love the sense of humor lol. I’ll be looking forward to more videos. Now back to binge watching your other videos
Thanks brother I really appreciate that!
I just found them yesterday, and I’m binging today.
After you cut the handle out, I had flash backs of coach McGee using a similar paddle to get our attention in jr. high.
Hahaha yea me too, and then drilling holes in it really made it look like a paddle!!
I'm subbed for now......
But if you EVER try to sing again...........
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks brother I appreciate the Sub, Sometimes the rhythm of the sander moves me to sing!!

😂😂😂 maybe because Rosco P Coltrane! Didn’t he used to mix words up?

dude that is so smart, thank you. I appreciate the tip.
Next time at the hardware pick up a couple scrolling blades for your jig saw. Makes a huge difference on those curvy parts.
Thank you for the advice, Ill definitely try that. I have a kit with different sizes and one blade was supposed to be for curves but the blade bent on me right away.
You know someones gonna bitch that polyurethane isnt food safe. Thats why your fkn hilarious
I haven't heard it yet but I'm sure its coming!! 😂😂😂
I'm glad I found your channel. Do you use a trim router very often? Can you go over the basics, safety and tips for getting a better routered edge?
Thank you brother! Yes I do use a trim router. That's no problem, I have a project coming up that I'm going to be using it a lot!
Great Video. I happened across your channel. I subscribed and liked. Looking forward to future woodworking ideas.
Thank you brother, I appreciate the sub and the kind words!
lol the part where you said you weren’t ever gonna start a video by saying what tools you would use again got me to laughing and earned you a sub. Love the sense of humor lol.

Don't know how i ended up on this channel but glad i did! Been binge watching for hours now!
Thank you I really appreciate that! I am glad you ended up on here too!!
Where’s that knitting channel you promised?
😂😂😂 If this woodworking thing keeps kicking my butt I might start a knitting channel myself!
Where’s the link for the knitting channel? 😂
😂😂😂 I almost started a knitting channel myself after my last build!! 😂😂😂
Best line of the video.
What is the small tool accessory you used to guide the drill bit holes called?
its a Drill Block. heres a link to the one I used amzn.to/3y4zD6c
Also looks like a "teenager discipline board!" HA!
Hahaha yea it reminded me of school!!
Your funny as hell man. I got my ass cracked in the 4th grade by a paddle just like that
😂😂😂 Thank you brother, I appreciate the encouragement. I never got a paddle like this in school but I did get some rulers across the knuckles!😂 My wife says I needed more than that but its too late. 😂😂
@@jascogoods join the club. All our wives know it's way to late for us. If you've been married for any length of time
Where is my knitting link?
Hahaha I’ll put one 1️⃣ n the description
@@jascogoods I really not into knitting I will stay with power tools.
Hey you handsome devil you! I forgot where I was going with that.
hahaha yea it must be the stain fumes affecting us!! 😂😂😂
VERSATILE!!!!! That's the best word I've done heard all day!! LOL Very nice!!!!
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks brother, I appreciate that.
Don’t forget to raise the grain before final sanding so the grain won’t get fuzzy when they clean with water
Thank you, that's a great tip!!

Nice project. First time I've seen a beanie weenie taco.
